There are two types of travellers in this world: the ones with their colour-coded spreadsheets and their ring-bound folders and their Pinterest boards, and the ones who just want to get away ASAP. We're going to let you in on a little secret: sometimes, even the Folder Fanatics need a last-minute jolly. So, if that's you and you're just wondering where the flip-flop to go, then we've got you covered (obviously). Enter: Majorca. It's the perfect example of a destination that can do both. It can be foam parties, club nights and sunset balcony pics that'll have your pals double-tapping so hard, but it can also be cobbled streets, breezy promenades and all-inclusive bliss. And it can be all that as soon as next weekend, if you book last minute. You heard us. (Well, technically you read us. Would be a bit weird if you could hear us.) But if all that sounds like your jam, then what're you still doing here?! Scroll down and get booking, because these hols are getting snapped up faster than we can devour an ensaïmada. Which, FYI, is very fast. They're delish.
Never have we ever seen a more iconic trio. Well, not since Destiny's Child, obviously. When it's got resorts like Magaluf and Alcudia up its T-shirt sleeve, we're not really surprised that Majorca's one of our holiday chart-toppers. We like to think of these hotels as the 'Chef's Specials'. If you're looking for cheap holidays abroad and not sure where to go, you can't go far wrong with these. They've got pools you can cannonball into (important), all the snacks (and we're not just talking about the dishy lifeguard), and a beach within reach - just how we like it.
If mini disco songs and screaming kiddos kinda kill your holiday vibe, then these adults-only hotels will be right up your beach. Although, BH Mallorca might tick the 'no kids' box, but that doesn't mean there won't still be fun and games for you grown-ups. Have you seen the size of those waterslides? With no queue of 10-year-olds to wait behind? Not to mention the epic pool parties at Sol House The Studio. We've got our inflatable unicorn ready - count us in. If you're looking for more of a relax than a rave though, then Iberostar Cala Millor is where it's at. Seriously, just looking at that pool area has us feeling chilled out.
Will.i.am once said 'bring the action,' and these hotels listened. Holidays with the fam are all about keeping everyone happy. That means plenty of fun for the kiddos - from waterparks and pool games to ice cream on tap, and plenty of extra-strong cocktails for you. We're kidding, obviously. It's not all about the cocktails. (There's beer too.) So, if you can't take another weekend of Frozen reruns and trips to the local park, now's the time to bag a last-minute family holiday and give the kids something to talk about at school.
