    Things to do in Paphos

Go back in time at Kato Paphos Archaeological Park

Discover relics dating from the Roman Empire to the Middle Ages. Stunningly detailed mosaics depicting scenes from Roman mythology lie in the ruins of four villas here. And don't forget to check out the incredibly preserved Tombs of the Kings, an underground burial complex.

    Take to the Troodos Mountains

Lace up for a day in the great outdoors. Sleepy villages sit among olive groves and vineyards in the foothills, and higher up you’ll find peaks with pine trees and panoramic views. Keep your eyes peeled for the UNESCO-listed Byzantine monasteries and churches found here. The most gorgeous murals are found within these modest buildings.

Explore the region with a tipple in hand

Discovering new areas, plus wine? Yes please. The Mediterranean climate here is ideal for growing wine grapes, so there are many local vineyards and wineries keen to show off their homegrown goods. A wine tour is the perfect way to immerse yourself in local produce and culture, and to check out the area.

Make a splash at Aphrodite Water Park

With rides to suit both big kids and toddlers—those who want to get their adrenaline pumping, and those that’d prefer a leisurely float down Lazy River—there’s something for everyone at this family-favourite attraction.
