Beaches

Vilamoura’s two main beaches: Praia de Vilamoura and Praia de Falésia are separated by the marina that sits at the heart of this Mediterranean town. Praia de Falésia’s wide golden sands stretch along to the next town for over six kilometres, running alongside some of the most scenic cliffs of this coastal region. It’s a great place for an afternoon hike and there’s a handful of beach bars you can stop off at for a cheeky cocktail on your return. On the other side of town, the Praia de Vilamoura offers more crisp soft sands and twinkling clear waters. It’s located next to many of the big hotels and offers a great range of facilities so it’s always a hit with holidaymakers.
