Stayed here two years ago and it was great. Just got back from a week there and it was worse than bad. To start with we were given a room the size of a shoe box and when I asked if we could change room as one of us had to stand on the balcony so the other could actually move around the receptionist just giggled and said no. When we went down for dinner the first night I was refused entry because I had a sleeveless t shirt on mainly due to it being warm. I went to receptio to question this and the giggly receptionist from earlier said I cant enter unless I have sleeves then told me I would have to go and buy a t shirt and come back for dinner. When my wife went in to the bathroom the next morning there was a bad sewage stench and the toilet seat was broken. Then the hair dryer worked for a few seconds before it burnt out and stank out the room. I reported these to reception and even when we left on our last day it was still not fixed. To top it all on the last evening we went for dinner in my specially purchased shirt and they had a label on the counter saying roasted piglet. Now I have seen a hog roast but there was this tiny little piglets head just staring at everyone as they walked past poor little bugger.

Spent a brilliant week here, Was 4 star at a 3 star budget! Wasn't informed that their was filming going on and that part of the pool was unavailable, but still lots ot do! The food selection was massive, and plentyfull, a massive selection, with different menus available to all styles of eating! Would recomend asking for a room on the highest floor available, as we were on the second floor and were next to the extractors from the kitchens, and overlooking a small court yard! Lots ot do outside the resort, with the beach a couple of mins walk away! Drinks were expensive as we wern't all inclusive, but found they were half the price outside the resort! Looking at booking again for next year!

This was our first ever holiday to Benidorm and this hotel. The hotel staff were very helpful when asked directions to places you wanted to find and also where parts of the hotel where i.e. where the restaurants were, lifts, entetainment etc. We had originally booked Bed and Breakfast and ended up upgrading to fully inclusive which was great. My only disappointment was that our Travel Agents were supposed to contact the hotel when the holiday was booked way back in January for a walk in shower as I am unable to get into a bath due to severe mobility problems and according to the hotel reception this was not the case and they were not really that good in dealing with this problem and we ended up with a room with a bath with a shower overhead (which was a nightmare for me) the hotel reception did offer us another room with a walk in shower but did not have a balcony which I said no to as I also suffer with breathing problems. We were offered another room the following day with a shower and a balcony but declined as we were not happy with the idea of having to pack our clothes etc., again. Apart from the above the hotel was spotless and everyone was nice and frendly. I cannot fault the hotel in any way and would not hesitate in booking another holiday there.

just returned and was very pleased with the hotel, food was lovely with lots to choose from, ideal location if you wanted either a quite night or a proper party night,we was placed in the ocas hotel in room 303 which overlooked the small pool and it was a lovely room with your own fridge, flat screen tv with a few English channels on,hairdryer in the bathroom and a nice shower over the bath.we found the restaurant in the ocas hotel was a lot quiter so tendered to eat there, the only downside was only 2 drinks per person so if you were in a group you couldn't get their drinks and the ocas bar would close at 6pm even if their were other people who liked to sit there and chill out to have a drink rather than having to go into the sol pelicanos bar,the pools were really cold and they would cut your band off you at breakfast time even if you was not leaving til the evening which I think is wrong. the staff were really nice.we did eat out a couple of times and we found small bar up the road from the hotel called the penny farthing and trust me it did the best fish, home made chips and mushy peas I have had,and my husband had the double steak, bacon and cheese burger which he said was gorgeous, you will find this bar if you turn right out of the hotel and just stay on the footpath and follow it up to the top you will see it right on the corner facing the pueblo hotel..trust me try it out..another good bar to go to was if you walked past the neptune bar which is over the road from the hotel and walk to the top of that road past kfc you will come to a bar called andy, simply the best bar, that was also a favourite of ours, the beach was only a 5 min walk and was also lovely..i don't think the entertainment was very good at the hotel but you can find plenty to do and see in the bars all outside the hotel, this was one of the best hotels I have stayed in and I would deffo go back and stay there again..really did have a nice chilled holiday with lovley hot weather, but I would say if you travel around these dates take a cardigan or small jacket coz it does get really chilly in the evening.
