Why book a May holiday

  1. Perfect Weather: In much of Europe, May weather is comfortably warm without being overwhelming. Spain, Greece, Portugal, and even Malta holidays are just hitting their stride, giving you prime beach time without the scorching heat of July or August. Meanwhile, northern Europe and the UK offer milder spring weather perfect for exploring countryside walks, castle visits, and garden tours.

  2. Great Deals: May is part of the “shoulder season,” which means fewer tourists and lower prices. Flights and hotels often come at a steal, especially compared to peak summer months. So, if you’ve got a taste for luxury but don’t want to break the bank, this is your window for a boujee holiday on a budget.

  3. Fewer Crowds: With most kids still in school, you’ll have more space to roam. Whether you’re wandering the ancient ruins of Rome or enjoying a quiet beach on the Algarve, May gives you a sense of freedom and space that’s hard to come by during peak summer.

  4. Spring in Full Bloom: If nature is your jam, there’s no better time for hiking and outdoor activities. May offers lush landscapes and blooming flowers in places like the English countryside, Tuscany, or the French Riviera, making for truly picturesque scenes. Perfect for the ‘Gram, right?
