Cancun

A beach lover’s paradise meets a party animal’s dream, with a dose of culture in between. Cancun is a vibrant city located on Mexico’s River Maya, offering spectacular shorelines with white, soft sand and dazzling blue waters alongside a thriving, modern metropolis.

There are three things Cancun definitely isn’t short of – beaches, nightlife and luxurious hotels. 22km of shore means you’ve got a fantastic pick of sunbathing spots, most of which meet the luscious Caribbean Sea. Plus, with a lot of the chic hotels being in prime beachfront locations, you’ll never stray far from the beautiful beaches of Cancun.

Want to sleep (by the pool) all day and party all night? Well, you’ve come to the right place. The tropical weather will give you a stunning tan throughout the day, to go perfectly with your best party clothes in the evening. Over in Punta Cancun, The City, Coco Bongo and Mandala Beach Club are three of the top clubs in the region, hosting out-of-this-world parties for spring breakers and holidaymakers alike! If your idea of a night out is a little quieter, there are countless local restaurants and bars to explore throughout the city centre and Punta Cancun.

Florida

Not just the home of Disney World, Florida has the beaches, the food and the sunshine you need for an exciting sun-soaked holiday. Situated on America’s south coast, Florida is known for being the place to go for a fantastic family, couple’s or even mate’s break! Theme park heaven, the state boasts Walt Disney World Resort, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Universal Orlando Resort and so much more.

If you’re more of a foodie than an adrenaline junkie, Florida is the place to indulge in the tastiest dishes from around the globe. Sizzling steak, succulent shrimp and perfectly-topped pizzas await. Plus, you’ll find plenty of Latin American and African influenced diners to broaden your taste buds even further.

Last but not least, the beaches. Florida may be where's hot in April, but what's heat without the sea and sand? Head over to Miami for a stunning choice of shorelines. South Pointe Park Beach is a top pick for families, as it has a park, boardwalk and plenty of nearby amenities. Not to mention it’s beautiful! For a more peaceful setting by the sea, 21st – 45th Street Beach is situated slightly north of South Beach and is popular with the locals, as it’s an escape from the bustling tourist beaches.

Lanzarote

Renowned for its year-round heat, Lanzarote is a perfect destination for an April getaway. If you’re looking for a laid-back beach break but with plenty of restaurants and bars to explore, this Canary Island is the one for you. Golden, white and black sandy beaches are ready to be discovered, all of which are met with clear, turquoise waters. Peaceful spots of shore are dotted along the coast, particularly in Papagayo and Matagorda. Those who prefer more of a buzzing atmosphere at the beach should head to Costa Teguise or Playa Blanca.

Although Lanzarote is mainly a low-key, chilled-out beach destination, if you love to party into the night you can head to Puerto del Carmen, where there's an exciting collection of clubs and discotheques to be explored. If you’re over the club scene but still love an evening out, there are plenty of lively bars along the streets, as well as the beachfront bars and restaurants which stay open late – perfect for a lovely evening by the sea.

Let’s not forget the food too, as Lanzarote boasts a great scene for gastronomical delights. Being an island, there’s no shortage of fresh seafood to indulge in, as well as a range of delectable meat dishes. Black canary pork is an exclusive delicacy, a more flavoursome and tender version of the pork we know and love. Pair your meal with a locally-produced wine to experience the true taste of Lanzarote.
