If hustle and bustle are two words that don't make it into your holiday vocab, then try heading for a relaxing resort in Greece. There are tons of quiet hotels in Greece that avoid the chaos without scrimping on things to do. You can opt for less waterparks, nightclubs and aqua aerobics, more swim-up rooms, beach cabanas and cocktail bars. And if you fancy going one step further than Greece, then why not try somewhere like the Maldives or the Dominican Republic? Private resorts and white-sand beaches...it doesn't get much more relaxing than that!

❤️ Romantic vibes ❤️

If you fancy upping your romance game, then where better than the city of love? AKA: Rome. Paris is also pretty up there in terms of romance. We mean, what could be cuter than sharing a baguette under the Eiffel Tower? And no, that's not a euphemism. For those of you who can't go without the beach vibes (of course we understand), Greece is another great shout for some 10/10 couple time - especially those Santorini sunsets. Bring a camera 😍 (Or just your phone - no one really carries cameras around anymore.)

For no particular reason, this might be our favourite section. Luckily, we do know a thing or two about beaches, so if you can't book a jolly until you know there's some sand and sea within walking distance, don't worry. Turkey's got you covered with its HUGE offering of Blue Flag beaches (which is a really big deal in the beach world), you can't go wrong with a Spanish classic like Majorca for the family beach vibes, and if you like your beach with a side of scubadiving then Egypt holidays are calling your name.

Can't sit still? We've got vacays where you won't have to, and neither will the restless teens. If the sea is your playground then the Canaries are your go-to spot for watersports. The windy shores are perfect for surfing, parasailing and more. But if you prefer your activities to be in the pool or on land, Turkey's mega selection of waterparks and theme parks always delivers (we're looking at you Land of Legends), and Cyprus has some pretty big waterslides up its sleeve too!

But if you wanna go somewhere hot, like trendy (and also actually hot) then read on.... These destinations are blowing up with UK travellers right now, and we've got brilliant hotels in all of them.

Montenegro is the one everyone's talking about. Travel publications including Time Out, Expedia and Tripadvisor have all named the Balkans as the hottest travel region in Europe for 2026, and Montenegro is leading the charge. You get Croatia-level coastline at a fraction of the price, medieval old towns, fjord-like scenery around the Bay of Kotor, and beaches that won European awards. Flights are under 3 hours, the euro makes spending money simple, and your money goes properly far once you're there.

Morocco has been named the cheapest summer package holiday destination from the UK this year, and Agadir is where most of the beach action is. You get 10km of Atlantic coastline, year-round sunshine (even in winter it's 18-24°C), massive souks, surfing, and all-inclusive deals that are genuinely hard to beat. Direct flights take about 3.5 hours, and food and drink prices once you're there are a fraction of what you'd pay in Spain or Greece.

Egypt's Red Sea has overtaken the traditional Med favourites to become the most popular destination for British holidaymakers in 2026, according to booking data.
