Where's hot in July?

We hear ya. Why jet off in July when there's a glimmer of hope for a bit of British sunshine? Simple, really. We've been burned before by far too many rained-off BBQs. Plus, even if the weather back home strikes gold and dips its toes in the early twenties, let's be honest - that's nothing compared to Turkey's sizzling south coast or Cancun's tropical climate. We'd rather play it safe with a destination where it's hot in July - no ifs, no buts, no maybes. That's why we've pulled together a bunch of cheap holidays in July where you've got sun guaranteed - just you, the summer heat and trusty bottle of Factor 50. You're so welcome 😎

Weather in Turkey in July
Turkey holidays in July are what summer dreams are made of. And the weather is no exception, we're talking sizzling 28°C temps to help you break a sweat, and don't even get us STARTED on the Blue Flag beach sitch. 200 of 'em to be exact - Belek alone has 16km of coastline under its belt (that's a lot, to you and me) 🏖️ But beyond beaches, you've also got boat trips, shop-'til-you-drop moments and splash-worthy waterparks to dive into (not just for the kiddos). The only thing not on the menu here is boredom 💁♀️
Weather in Cancun in July
Basic beaches, step aside. Cancun holidays are the jewel of Mexico's crown, with pillowy-soft sands, a history that'll impress your folks, and a night scene that seriously pops off (but might impress your folks a little less). What better way to lap up the 28°C July vibes than along 22km of sandy perfection? Cancun's got everything from swanky stays with sea views to fun-packed hotels for the whole fam, so even the youngsters can live their best life. Whether you're up for barefoot dancing-'til-dawn vibes or a laidback pool sitch, this place delivers more than your local Amazon driver 🌞🍹
Weather in Tenerife in July
Canary Islands? More like ‘Can’t-Resist Islands’, especially in sizzlin' July! (Don't be surprised if that mercury level crawls into the late 20s.) Tenerife's the star of the show - whether you're living it up in Costa Adeje, dancing your flip-flops off in Playa de las Americas, or kicking back in Los Cristianos. Oh, and waterparks? Completed 'em mate, thanks to Siam Parque. It's got a bit of everything, including a 91-foot plunge slide with sharks on the other side of the glass. Yep, you did read that right. Of course, if that's a bit too out there for you (no judging), you've also got the pick of the bunch when it comes to classic beach vibes 🏖
Weather in Cyprus in July
Cyprus in July is properly hot, hot enough to feel it the moment you step off the plane. Daytime averages sit around 32°C across the south and east coasts, dipping to 30°C on cooler Paphos on the west, with the sea at 26 to 27°C across the island and rain pretty much off the menu.
Ayia Napa and Protaras are the big hitters on the east coast with the famous Fig Tree Bay, Nissi Beach and Konnos Bay all within easy reach, plus the legendary nightlife and beach-club scene that runs from May through October.
The west coast is the calmer, more romantic option, with Paphos' archaeological park, Aphrodite's Rock and the cooler Coral Bay. The middle of the island (Limassol) brings city energy with a lively marina and wine country in the Troodos foothills. Twelve hours of sunshine a day, virtually zero rain, and a sea that warms up earlier in the year than most of the Med 🌊
