Things To Do on Key Largo Holidays

Key Largo is primarily centred on water attractions, with an exciting range available for all the family to enjoy. Kayaking is an exciting way to see the island and have some fun. Otherwise there are the wonders of the sea to be enjoyed, with snorkelling and scuba diving. For those with a real sense of adventure, a thrilling day out is a day trip sports-fishing, perfect to get you in the mood for an evening out at one of the many delicious sea food restaurants that Key Largo holidays are renowned for.

Key Largo is connected to the mainland in Miami-Dade County by two routes. The Overseas Highway, which is U.S. Route 1, crosses Jewfish Creek from the middle of the island to the extreme southeastern part of the mainland, while the Card Sound Bridge connects the northern part of the island across Biscayne Bay to the mainland. Both routes lead to Florida City, making for an interesting day out. A trip to Florida City or Miami is recommended, allowing one to do all the mall and boutique shopping that could be dreamed of.

The locals are very relaxed and friendly making this town holiday especially memorable. It is as though one is in paradise with such beautiful surroundings and nice people.

With so many varied restaurants, Key Largo guarantees a lovely night out. With an array of eateries offering everything ranging from delicate sushi to mouth watering burgers, there's something to suit every appetite. And after such fantastic meal, there can be no other option but to head down to the Ice Cream Shoppe and then for a relaxing walk to the picturesque beach, where you can relax under the stars and maybe dream of what you'll get up to the next day.
