There is plenty to do on holidays in Winter Garden. In the heart of the downtown, one can see the successful efforts of the redevelopment; with quaint shops, restaurants, and the West Orange Trail all enhancing the charm of this Winter Garden holiday. Excitingly, for all those who love to do a bit of shopping, a new shopping centre opened in October 2007. Boasting 1.5 million square feet of dinning and retail shops; this is a great day out and an even better way to fill that spare suitcase you brought!
The town is also within a stone's throw of Lake Apopka. Providing endless fun through watersports or just sun bathing on the lake's glorious shores. There is also the possibility for a trip into the hustle and bustle of a big city for a day; Orlando is only fourteen miles away. Making a day trip there almost necessary as to visit and not sample its delights would seem almost strange.
