Peak beach weather and the liveliest atmosphere. The Moros y Cristianos festival (early June) transforms the pueblo with costumed parades, medieval markets and a dramatic beach landing reenactment. August brings the Fiestas de San Agustín with traditional ribbon races on horseback and floral offerings in traditional costume.

🌸 Spring (March–May) | Highs of 22-26°C

Warm weather without the crowds. Semana Santa brings atmospheric processions through the narrow streets, including the evocative "Procession of the Encounter" under Mojácar's historic arch. Mid-May's San Isidro pilgrimage sees decorated carts processing through the countryside with traditional music and dancing.

Still brilliant for beach days with fewer tourists. The Night of the Candles (Noche de las Velas) sees the pueblo lit entirely by candlelight – properly atmospheric for stargazing during the Perseid meteor shower.
