How do I get to Cefalu?

The nearest airport is Palermo Falcone-Borsellino (PMO), about 80km west of Cefalu. The flight from the UK takes around 2 hours 45 minutes. From the airport you can get a train to Cefalu (about 1 hour with a change at Palermo Centrale) or, for the easiest option, book your transfers through On the Beach - that way not only do you get a good price, you also skip the queue at the airport as your driver will be waiting for you at arrivals as you land.

Is Cefalu good for families?

Brilliant for families. The main beach has shallow, calm water that's perfect for paddling, there are gelato shops and pizza places everywhere, and the old town is compact and easy to walk around with kids. Several hotels (like the Costa Verde and Alberi Del Paradiso) have pools, waterparks and playgrounds too.
