Sani is Halkidiki at its most luxurious - soft white sands, pine-lined paths and crystal-clear water wrapped around an ultra-polished resort marina.

🎉 Sani Holidays 2026 — Good to Know

FAQs

How do I get to Sani from the airport?

You'll fly into Thessaloniki Airport (SKG), which is about 75km from Sani — roughly an hour's drive. The easiest option is to book a private transfer through us when you're building your package, so a driver meets you at arrivals and takes you straight to your hotel. Taxis from the airport rank cost around €100–105 each way. There's no direct bus from the airport to Sani, so a transfer or taxi is the way to go.

Is Sani all-inclusive?

The Sani Resort hotels offer half-board and full-board packages rather than traditional all-inclusive. What makes it special is the dine-around programme — guests can eat at restaurants across all five Sani hotels (up to 25 options, with 24 in the dine-around programme), from Greek tavernas to Peruvian fusion, using their meal allowance. It's a more flexible, higher-end approach than a typical AI setup.

Is Sani good for families?

Brilliant for families. The beaches are calm and shallow, there are kids' clubs for every age group (crèche from 6 months, Explorers for 4–12s, Ozone Teen Club for 12–17s), and the resort has pools, playgrounds and activities to keep everyone happy. Sani Beach and Porto Sani are the most popular picks for families. Book kids' club places early though — they fill up fast.

Is Sani good for couples?

Absolutely. Sani Dunes and Sani Asterias are particularly popular with couples — both have a more intimate, grown-up feel with spas, fine dining and beautifully designed rooms. The marina is gorgeous for evening strolls and sunset cocktails, and the Sani Festival adds a touch of culture to summer stays.

When is the best time to visit Sani?

The resort is open roughly from late April to mid-October. Peak season is July and August — hot, buzzy and full of events including the Sani Festival. For the sweet spot of warm weather, fewer crowds and lower prices, aim for June or September. May and early October are lovely too, though the sea is cooler.

What's the Sani Festival?

An annual open-air music and arts festival held every July and August on Sani Hill, overlooking the Aegean. It features jazz, classical, world music and theatre performances in a stunning natural setting. It's been running since 1992 and regularly attracts internationally renowned artists. Check the Sani Resort website for the lineup closer to your travel dates.
