This is a great hotel and excellent value for money. Arrived late at night and had problem with room, the lady on reception dealt with this immediately and efficiently, moving us to a larger room and assisting with the luggage. We had a 2 bed apartment which was spotlessly clean. It had a kitchen with 2 burner stove, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, fridge and all the crockery, pots and pans you could possibly need. Dining table and 4 chairs. There was a large tv which was free ! first time in tenerife that tv has been free, I like my fix of news channels so this was a bonus for me. There was a large sun terrace with sun loungers and table and chairs and a clothes airer. We had a view of the ocean, just a small bit but still a view. Nice white bed linen which was changed twice on our 10 day stay, might have been more but we refused cleaning most days as we were napping. We were half board and the food was good. Here are typical meal buffets, breakfast consisted of all hot drinks, fruit juices, normal milk, choc milk, strawberry milk and even that stuff that has no milk in for people with issues ! 3 kinds of yoghurts, 3 types of cereals, dates, apricots, jam, marmalades, choc spread, honey, butter and margarine. fresh rolls, crusty bread, sliced bread for toaster. Fried, scrambled and boiled eggs, bacon, sausages, tomato, beans, mushrooms, pancakes made to order. A selection of cheeses, cold meats and salads. Wow ! what more could a person want. An example of dinner one night was, soup, crusty bread, salad bar with all types of dressing and sauces. There was always at least 3 main hot dishes, some times more but on this night there was pork chops cooked fresh in front of you, fish, meatballs in sauce, chips, pasta, rice, okra, peas. 4 types of ice cream, a different type of cake each night, this night it was coconut. fresh fruit and creams. At dinner you can order water, wine or soft drinks at a very reasonable price. The kitchen was spotless, it is a all on show and I have never seen such shiny tiles, Yes ! I mean shiney, the kitchen staff were always cleaning. There is a large pool and a small childs pool with a bar and snack bar. Plenty of sun loungers and parasols and all free of charge. Pool area was scrubbed every morning, not just hosed but properly cleaned. The grounds were well kept and every day gardens were being tended to ad you could see a lot of maintenance going on, the room next to us was being totally renovated. There is a beauty room where you can have manicures, pedicures, masssage etc at very reasonable prices. All the staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. We had read the negative views about security but we hired a safe and followed all the rules about locking doors etc just as you would do anywhere in the world even in your own home. There was also a security guard doing the rounds at night, he even came to our door at 1am to tell us our patio doors were open, I felt very safe. The hotel is in a great location, only 5-10 mins walk to the beach, resturaunts, shops and night life. There are 3 resturaunts right on the door step along with 2 shops and 2 supermarkets, great if you are self catering. If you want 5 star pay £1000 a week and go to one !! If you want a great little hotel in a great location for a fabulous price then go to this hotel.

We always go for low cost self catering holidays. We got this 7 nights for £220 per person (3 of us sharing) in June 2015. Apartments are a little dated but clean and functional. Location is 2 minutes walk to beach and nightlife but very quiet. Pool excellent, not over chlorinated but very clean and a comfortable temperature. Rooms were cleaned 5 days out of 7. Impressed with security, always a guard on duty around the pool area at night and the gates are locked at night. We were self catering and never ate at the hotel restaurant but it is such a good location, eating out is so easy. We use public transport transfers, bus station is 5 minute walk and always punctual. Leisurely walk to Los Cristianos or Adeje. Beaches are all spotless. Will definitely be going back.

So concerned was I by some of the reviews I'd read about these apartments that I actually tried to find alternative accommodation, but it would have meant losing our money as so close to date of travel. My fears were needless. The complex is situated just a two minute walk from Troya beach & location wise it's the best I've stayed in during many visits to Tenerife. The apartment was clean, spacious & had a view of the sea from the balcony. Mindful of the previous reviews we hired a room safe for €15 for the week & would probably do so again for peace of mind. We didn't spend much time at the complex and so can't comment on the pool bar, but the staff we encountered were always friendly and polite. If I had to find a negative with the stay it would probably be the food. We booked half board & for the price we paid we never expected fine dining but the meals tended to be a little unimaginative, even by buffet standard. We arrived home earlier today & im already looking to return in September. I don't normally write reviews but felt that I wanted to redress the balance and hopefully ease anyone's concerns who have been put off of these apartments due to recent postings.
There's little rain here except for the odd shower in winter, and it's permanently humid: 17° Celsius on average at New Year compared with temperatures in the late 20s° Celsius by the summer apex. The water temperature is also constantly warm, and fresh Atlantic breezes stave off any oppressive heat.
As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
