Location

• On its own private island in the North Male Atoll - basically, a slice of absolute paradise.

• You'll be flying into Male International Airport and then hopping on either a seaplane or speed boat. Either way, think of it as a sightseeing trip as well as a transfer!

• Surrounded by coral reefs and the best snorkel spots. You'll be livin' your best mermaid life.

Rooms

• Lavish rooms with nature-themed decor and panoramic views of the beach or ocean. Choose from Mirage Panoramic Rooms, Panoramic Lagoon Rooms, and Beachfront Panoramic Rooms, some have an open-air bath or bubbly jacuzzi.

• Or for the proper Maldives experience, opt for an Overwater Villa with some offering extra goodies, like a jacuzzi or swimming pool.

• The Sailhouse - a breezy beachfront restaurant (totally our vibe!) with indoor or alfresco dining and offering a selection of tasty international and Maldivian dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

• Acqua - step foot in a proper Italian trattoria with charming decor, a pasta bar, a pizza oven and gelataria. So, as far as sampling traditional dishes goes you've got the full shebang at your fingertips!

• Suan Bura - Centara's signature Thai restaurant with delicious a'la carte menus and an open kitchen, so you can watch (and drool) as your meals are prepared in front of your eyes.

• Mirage Beach Bar - flip-flop your way here for al-fresco Mediterranean mezze bites, handcrafted cocktails and stunning, panoramic ocean views. Also, the best spot for sunset. It'll make your Instagram followers very jealous.

• Dolphin Bar - a playful pool bar offering unique cocktails and delish light bites for you to enjoy whilst having a sunbathing sesh.

• Scoops - now this will be a hit with the kiddos. Take them here for a cool sweet treat. Maybe don't tell the dentist about this one...

Sports & Entertainment

• Swimming Pool Complex - safe to say there's lots of aqua-fuelled action to be had. You're sorted when it comes to somewhere for a dunk, the main swimming pool is perfect and there's a lively kid's swimming pool and water playground for the little ones. For more chill vibes, head to the lazy river.

• Spa Cenaree - award-winning, so you know it's gonna be top-notch. Cenaree offers traditional Thai massages and beauty treatments that'll make you feel like a whole new person.

  • Candy Spa - the little uns' won't be missing out on a spa sesh. This candy-themed spa offers tasty edible treatments, manicures and pedicures.

• Fitness Center - if you're gonna work out, you may as well do it at a swanky five-star resort on its own island?! Workouts don't get more boujee than that.

• Kids' Club - offering a slice of paradise for the little guests, with arts and crafts activities, board games, games consoles, films and learning.

Transfers to the Maldives hotels are from Male International Airport via either domestic aircraft, seaplane, or speedboat. Luggage allowance varies depending on transfer type:

• Domestic aircraft (20kg hold luggage and 5kg hand luggage)

• Seaplane (20kg hold luggage and 5kg hand luggage)

• Speedboat (No luggage restrictions)

Immediately upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by either airport or hotel staff, who will escort you to your transfer departure point, and will be on hand to answer any questions you may have regarding transfers and timings. Please note that other flight arrivals or sudden changes in weather might mean you need to wait up to 3 hours before boarding the transfer.

If you’re travelling via seaplane, flights can only operate between 09:00 and 15:00. If you land in Male after 15:00, or if there are any sudden weather changes, you’ll need to stay overnight in an airport hotel. Don’t worry – if this is the case then we’ll be in touch to make the arrangements. It’s also worth noting that, like most holiday transfers, seaplanes will stop at multiple resorts on the way.
