Our Take

When we first walked in we were blown away by how grand this place was, there was a huge water feature, extravagant artwork, and the BIGGEST chandelier we've ever seen. This was just the reception. Boujee, I know. Also getting greeted by a welcome drink (our favourite kind of greeting if you ask me) made a great impression. This huge resort has a whopping eight restaurants. We got to sample Cypriot night, and best believe we loaded up our plates multiple times with chicken souvlaki, Greek salad, flatbread, tzatziki and moussaka (still dreaming of this food). Another thing to mention is the views! We appreciate a good view, and there's plenty of 'em, our fav view was of the marina at the Captain's Bar, sat with a mojito of course (elite cocktail choice). We'll probably mention this more than once but 90% of the rooms have a sea view so you're almost guaranteed to get a cracking view wherever you are. As you can imagine, the views at sunset... wow. That's it. Wow.

• We're not done yet, you get a welcome drink on arrival, fresh fruit in the room, a bottle of water in the room on arrival which is replenished daily, the mini-bar is restocked weekly

Did you know?

St Raphael Resort & Marina are super eco-friendly! The beach is Blue Flag listed and plastic free, there are water filling stations on each floor to encourage guests to reuse their water bottles. The hotel also plants a tree for every guest that doesn't get their room cleaned.

Food & Drink

• Octagon Restaurant - an authentic Mediterranean and international restaurant serving buffet-style breakfast and lunch, with a Cypriot corner, vegan options and a champagne corner

• Palladium Restaurant - a grand dining hall with ancient Greek decor, enjoy buffet-style dinners with the best sea & marina views and each night they have a theme so you can tuck into a range of cuisines!

• Golden Monkey Thai Restaurant - get teleported to Thailand with authentic Thai colours, flavours and textures. Also, admire the huge golden Buddha which is the centrepiece!

• Alakati Restaurant - the dreamiest dinner setting with traditional Cypriot dishes, date night anyone?

• Ristorante Dolce Vita - if you fancy a bit of pasta (we don't blame you), this place offers that among other things in a fusion-style menu, so you can sample lots of different flavours

• Captain's Bar and Terrace - now this is the perfect setting for an afternoon coffee, or post-dinner cocktail whilst listening to live music

• Splash Poolside Restaurant - the place to be for poolside plates of fresh souvlaki, and salads

• Amphibion Pool Bar - this bar is ideal if you don't want to escape the cool waters, all you have to do is swim up and order yourself one of the speciality cocktails

• Seashells Vegan & Healthy Living Sea-Side Restaurant - Cyprus' first vegan hotel restaurant (I mean, talk about exclusive!)

• Room Service - we know how great the room views are, so if you fancy having your brekkie on the balcony, you can! Each room has a breakfast card so you can simply fill it out and hang it on the door, room service can also be ordered on the hotel website!

• All-Inclusive includes:

  • Buffet-style breakfast and lunch in the Octagon Restaurant

  • A la carte lunch and dinner menu at the Splash Restaurant (also snacks at selected times) and Seashells Healthy Living Vegan restaurant

  • Dinner is a themed buffet in the Palladium Restaurant

  • You can also have dinner twice a week at the Alakati Restaurant, or in the Dolce Vita Italian Ristorante or an early dinner at the Splash Restaurant until 18:00

  • A selection of local and international branded alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available 10:00 - 00:00 at the Captain's Bar & Terrace

Just so you know, Splash Restaurant, Alakati Restaurant Dolce and Vita Italian Ristorante are open from May to October. Seashells Healthy Living Vegan Restaurant is open from June to October. Weather permitting, reservations are required.

• Two outdoor pools, with an additional children's paddling pool

• Sporty activities include table tennis, fitness classes, darts, an on-site gym, archery, beach volleyball and badminton

• Happy Bee is a kids' club so fun, the little ones won't want to leave, there's also a snazzy games room for the older kids full of arcade games

• Serenity Spa is the place to be for some good quality 'me' time, unwind with a relaxing massage

• Boutique shops are located by reception, from souvenirs to holiday essentials, or a swanky jewellery shop if you fancy treating yourself
