• This hotel is only a 13-minute walk to Playa del Ingles beach, not such an unlucky number now is it?

• 22 minutes drive from Gran Canaria Airport, I don't know about you, but I'm feeling 22 (minutes drive)!

• Just a 4-minute drive to nearby Maspalomas if you're looking for some bars and restaurants, maybe you wanna play some golf? or take a stroll through a botanical park? All possible!

• Servatur Waikiki certainly lives up to its name, serving up plenty of accom options, which we love, take your pick from Classic Double Rooms, Superior Double Rooms or Family Suites with a Private Garden.

• Buffet Restaurant - your one-stop shop for brekkie, lunch and din dins, serving up foodie faves from across the globe with show-cooking stations for a lil' something extra fresh.

• Poolside Snack Bar - where you'll find plenty of refreshing drinks as well as some tasty snacks, including - wait for it - the classic ham and cheese toastie. We're on our 3rd, can't lie.

• Ukelele Bar - entertainment and tipples collide in this space, console games, a teen lounge and a movie room for some, a pool table, a stage and a bar for others!

Sports & Entertainment

• Swimming - the outdoor pool really steals the show, with plenty of sun loungers and a shallow end for the kids. After you've had a dip, why not lap up the sunshine at the solarium, where you can chillax the day away.

• Kiddies Entertainment - a kids' club, and a playground all walk into a bar... we forgot the punchline, the splash park has slides, water guns and flying coconuts though (we weren't sure either)!

• Hula-hula Park - where the fun is multiplied. The lil ones will love the adventure park and water park - equipped with a splash pool, a circuit with wooden bridges, a slide and water guns.

• Mai Tai Lounge - this adults-only space comes with Bali beds, a Jacuzzi, a solarium and even massage services if you're feeling extra fancy. Downtime never felt so good (extra charges may apply).

• Sports Facilities - plenty for all the fitness fanatics out there, we see you, we gotchu, a new gym overlooking the pool (for guests 16+), Zumba classes, basketball tournaments, a multi-sports court and beach volleyball all to keep those muscles loose!

• Evening Entertainment -  let your food settle over a cocktail while you enjoy live music and shows until around 10 pm (not too late for the kids), that doesn't mean the fun has to stop though, the bars are still open if you're not quite ready to call it a night!

• Other Handy Bits - an excursion desk so you can deck out your itinerary, FREE WiFi throughout, 24-hour reception, dry cleaning services (extra charge), currency exchange and parking.
