I'm going to start by saying - if you're looking for Balearic luxury then this isn't the place for you. If you're looking for an amazing hotel, with a party atmosphere and some epic world renown acts, however, then this is your place. 5 lads stayed at IR in early June for a clubbing holiday. What started in a good room in a pants location, ended in the best room in the hotel, in an amazing location, based entirely on the amenity of the staff. Friendly, helpful, and a good local knowledge, the reps and receptionist can really make or break your experience. The bar is fantastic, with an amazing day time DJ. I really can't rate this place enough.

I cannot stress enough how very disappointing my stay was. 12 of us went on a hen do and whilst I had an amazing time this was certainly no thanks to I.R firstly I left it last minute so had to stay in what they call the hostel. It's basically a 2*hotel. Regardless how cheap or expensive it was the staff were appalling treated us extremely rudely, no customer skills at all we wasn't aware the hostel was a good 10min walk from the main hotel so it immediately separated us from the group.we had no WiFi facility there at all and had to pay €6 a night for AC. We weren't allowed in the main hotel in the evening and the other hens were not allowed in our hostel totally ridiculous and made our socialising very difficult. We were told off several times for playing music from our phone even at 9pm seriously I.R we didn't come to Ibiza to read!!! Our light broke one evening and we called the guy to help and he said "can't do anything till tomorrow... Have you tried getting ready in the dark??!! Lastly the fact that u can only buy drinks on a prepaid card is utter backwards and a huge inconvenience to top up. From one bar only!!!! We were also demanded to get out of our room at 10:50am or had to pay €40 euro to stay even an hour later. I would never come back here again!!!!

If you enjoy live music, sunshine and fun then Ibiza Rocks is for you. Stage view room is fantastic. Having the option to see live acts from the comfort of your balcony is great. Hotel is in excellent position. San Antonio has it all - great nightlife, romantic restaurants, chilled bars, decent beach, good transport options including taxi boat to some wonderful beaches. Staff at hotel are great and the security staff do a great job looking after you and the hotel. Everyone was so chilled and happy. Rooms are basic but it's all about the atmosphere and music. Will definitely return.

Two of my friends and I decided to stay in Ibiza Rocks for five nights in June. We chose the hotel because of the reputation for fun and because it is generally associated with party holidays. We were amazed at how cheap it was to stay for five nights, but because of the price we didn't expect anything particularly beautiful or modern. We were pleasantly surprised when the hotel turned out to be clean and modern. Our room was newly refurbished with a huge walk in shower, three full sized beds (instead of a pull out for the third person) and a large balcony on the fifth floor overlooking the pool and stage. We paid £20 extra each to be upgraded to a room overlooking the stage and pool which proved incredibly worthwhile. Acts perform on Wednesdays and Fridays at the hotel and we found it much more enjoyable to watch them from our balcony with our own drinks rather than going downstairs into the crowds. If you were to stay elsewhere in the hotel you would not have this advantage. Safety wise I couldn't fault it. There are constantly security on the gates that only let people in with their hotel wristband. Each person in the room is given their own key card which makes it easy too. The hotel has its own reps and ticket sellers which is incredibly convenient. They were also very helpful when my phone got stolen on the first night. I would definitely highlight the perks of having these reps when choosing a hotel in Ibiza, especially if doing so without a package holiday like myself. Both pools are nice and clean with plenty of sun loungers - one is larger and louder than the other but there is little to no breeze around it meaning that it can become a sun trap. Location wise it is about ten minutes walk down some windy roads to get to the bus station and around five minutes from the strip. It's a bit of a maze but easy enough when you know how. Wifi is available in the lobby but it's very slow. Did manage to connect to some wifi in the room called BeFree Wifi but that was temperamental and only available for timed periods. The receptionist did however say that they are working on getting wifi in all rooms for free. Cons: no kettle in the room and the only way to pay for things in the hotel bars and restaurants is by putting money onto your room key which we weren't prepared to do. Luckily though, the shop (although a tad pricey) accepts cash. All in all, a great party hotel. Don't go with expectations of relaxation and quiet because you won't get it. Music plays throughout the day so you just have to plan your naps accordingly really.
The days in San Antonio are a comfortable 30° Celsius, perfect for lying on the sand to rest after a long night which tend to be a pleasant 20° Celsius. Even during the winter months, the temperature in San Antonio rarely drops below 15° Celsius. Be sure to bring plenty of sun cream on your break, those long nights dancing often lead to long days spent sleeping on the sunny sand!
As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
