What is the temperature in Majorca?
Majorca’s temperatures are the definition of holiday perfection. Summers sizzle with highs hitting the 30°C mark, making it prime time for beach days and poolside lounging. Spring and autumn serve up a proper good mix of warmth and sunshine, hovering around the 20s°C - ideal for exploring without melting. Even in winter, things stay pleasantly mild, rarely dropping below 10°C, so you can swap the big coat for something breezier.

Does it rain in Majorca?
It does a little - but don’t panic, you won’t need a snorkel. Majorca gets the odd shower, mostly in autumn and winter, but rain rarely overstays its welcome. When it does make an appearance, it’s usually a quick downpour that freshens up the island before the sun pops back out, ready to keep your holibobs on track.

Majorca Weather by Season
Spring (March–May) – Sun-kissed & Breezy
Spring in Majorca is Mega dreamy. With temperatures floating in the high teens°C, you’ll get plenty of sunshine without breaking a sweat. The island is in full bloom, the beaches are still quiet, and exploring the stunning Serra de Tramuntana is an absolute treat.
Best for: Coastal hikes, cycling, and sipping sangria in the sunshine.
Top tip: Mornings and evenings can be a tad fresh - bring a light jacket for those sunset strolls.
Summer (June–August) – Scorchio & Sweltering
Summer in Majorca is the one. We’re talking sizzling days where the mercury can top 30°C, cloudless skies, and warm nights. The beaches are buzzing, the nightlife is in full swing, and the sea is the perfect cool-off spot.
Best for: Lazy beach days, boat trips, and dancing ‘til dawn in Magaluf or Palma.
Top tip: Sun cream. Loads of it. And if you’re not one for whopper heat, a hotel with a good pool is your best mate.
Autumn (September–November) – Golden & Glorious
Autumn in Majorca feels like a VIP summer encore, with highs of around 25°C and the sea at its warmest. The crowds start thinning out, making it the perfect time for a more laid-back island escape.
Best for: Snorkelling, scenic drives, and soaking up the last of the summer sun.
Top tip: It’s still proper warm, but a light layer for breezy evenings won’t go amiss.
Winter (December–February) – A Toasty Break from UK Grey
While we're all shivering, Majorca is still basking in mild 10-14°C days. You won’t be diving into the sea (unless you’re feeling brave), but it’s spot-on for exploring without breaking a sweat.
Best for: Christmas market strolls in Palma, golfing, and scenic road trips.
Top tip: The odd rainy day can happen, but nothing a cosy café and a slice of ensaïmada can’t fix.
