🎶 Estate Romana - Rome's summer festival programme, every June to September, with outdoor cinema, concerts and events across the city.
🎸 Rock in Roma - Annual summer music festival every June to July at the Ippodromo delle Capannelle, featuring international headliners.
🌸 Spring (March - May, 15-22°C)
The sweet spot for sightseeing. Warm enough for long days on your feet without the summer crush. April and May are brilliant for the Colosseum - comfortable temps and slightly fewer crowds than peak summer.
🎭 Rome's Birthday (Natale di Roma) - Every 21 April, gladiator re-enactments, parades and fireworks around the Colosseum and Circus Maximus.
🏃 Rome Marathon - Every March, runners take on a route past the Colosseum, Vatican and Piazza Navona.

Still warm, noticeably quieter, and the light is gorgeous for photos. September is brilliant - summer weather without summer prices. October starts to cool but remains comfortable for walking.
🎨 Romaeuropa Festival - Every September to November, Rome's biggest contemporary arts festival brings theatre, dance and music to venues across the city.
❄️ Winter (November - February, 12-15°C)
