The Land of Legends

The Land of Legends, Antalya, Turkey

What's The Land of Legends?

If you think this sounds like something straight out of a movie — you’d be right. The Land of Legends in Antalya isn’t your run-of-the-mill theme park; it’s a full-blown world of adventure where fantasy meets splash zones, rollercoasters, and more sugar-fuelled fun than you can shake some candy floss at.

It’s loud, it’s proud, and it’s basically Turkey’s answer to Disneyland - except with way better weather and fewer queues. Whether you’re chasing thrills, chills or just looking for an excuse to act like a big kid again, this place has to go at the tip-top of your Turkey bucket list.

The Land of Legends - Theme Park

If the closest you've come to a theme park is a soggy day at Alton Towers during half term, then you're not even READY for the magic that The Land of Legends has in store. The name says it all, really - this whopper of a park in Antalya is home to 75 different attractions (from slides and kiddie rides to full-on 'coasters), as well as food and drink outlets on every corner so you can stay fuelled. It's won actual awards for its excellence, so if that doesn't tell you how epic this place is, we don't know what will.

There's even a Fast Track option (our fave), so you can spend less time queueing for rides, and more time...well, actually riding them! 🎢

Top it all off with a cheeky bit of merch from one of the on-site shops (because was it even a day at the theme park if you don't leave with a keyring?!) and you're sorted.

So what's in the theme park itself.....

Nickelodeon Land

The Nickelodeon Land section at the Land of Legends park is now open! If you're staying at The Land of Legends Kingdom Hotel or The land of Legends, Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Antalya then you'll get FREE access to this place, in all its orange-splodged, cartoon-themed glory. Expect a bunch of rides for all ages, featuring some of your fave characters - from SpongeBob SquarePants and Star Trek™ to PAW Patrol for the youngsters.

Aqua Land

Exactly what it sounds like, this area is all about colourful waterslides and pools. Here you can zoom along in rapids, channel your inner astronaut in the Space Rocket slide, chill out in a glass, sea-water filled infinity pool, catch some waves in the Wave Shock Pool - plus tons more!

Adventure Land

Here you'll find over 40 slides and 20 different rides and attractions, so your chances of getting bored? Zero. Highlights include the Typhoon Coaster stretching to over 500 metres long, and the Hyper Coaster which soars to 62 metres. Don't worry, there's also an indoor play area and a handful of tamer rides if that made your stomach churn!

Tropic Lagoon

Water's the name of the game here, too, with a wave pool, lazy floats (we like the sound of those), and a spray park for the kiddos. The most interesting thing about this place, though? It's where you'll find one of the world's longest water 'coasters. Yep, that's the Turtle Coaster might look cute and colourful, but it's not for the fainthearted!

Food & Drink

All that watersliding, rollercoastering action is thirsty work - and luckily there are plenty of bars and restaurants on site to keep the whole family fuelled. From ice cream stands and grab-and-go points to doughnut stations and burger bars, there's something for every appetite. Here are a few of our faves (try not to drool...):

  • Choco Choco - yep, we're starting with the good stuff. This place is known for its colourful drinks, delish desserts and sweets that come with a guaranteed sugar rush.

  • Burger Stop - you can't beat a good burger, and this stand has a bit of everything - from BBQ double stacks to veggie options and a steakhouse special that comes on a charcoal bun. Don't knock it 'til you try it!

  • Chikko Fast - fried food on the go? Big tick. This fast food shack is the kind of spot where you can load up on nuggets, noodles and crispy onion rings.

  • Shaky Cool - you'll feel like a kid in a candy store at this sugar-packed stall, specialising in mouthwatering ice creams and fruity drinks decorated with sweets.

  • Café Point - OK parents, we've thrown this one in for you, because we know you're gonna need that caffeine. This is your one-stop shop for hot and cold coffees (think everything from Turkish coffee to mochas and frappuccinos) so you can keep those energy levels up.

People also asked...

Do I get free entry to The Land of Legends if I'm staying at one of the hotels?

Yes. If you're staying at The Land of Legends Kingdom Hotel or The Land of Legends Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Antalya, theme park entry is included in your stay. That covers the rides, waterslides, pools and attractions during opening hours. Guests at Rixos Premium Belek also get free access to the park.

Can I visit The Land of Legends as a day trip from other Antalya resorts?

Absolutely. The park is in Belek, about 30 minutes from Antalya centre, and you can buy day tickets separately. Plenty of local tour operators offer packages with return hotel transfers included, or you can make your own way there. It's a popular day out for families staying across the wider Antalya region.

What are the opening hours?

The theme park is open from 10am to 5pm. Shopping Avenue stays open later, usually until midnight, and the evening shows and night entertainment kick off after 5pm. Opening hours can vary by season, so it's worth double-checking closer to your trip.

Is The Land of Legends suitable for young children?

Yes, there's loads for younger kids. Nickelodeon Land has rides and attractions built around characters like PAW Patrol and SpongeBob SquarePants, and there are dedicated kiddie zones with shallower pools and gentler rides. Under 3s get in free. Just bear in mind that the bigger rollercoasters and water slides have height restrictions (usually 120cm minimum), so the smallest ones won't be able to go on everything.

When is the best time to visit?

Spring (April to May) and autumn (September to October) are the sweet spots. The weather in Antalya is still gorgeous, the park is open, and you'll dodge the peak summer crowds. July and August are the busiest months, and queues for popular slides can get long. If you're visiting in peak season, the Fast Track option is DEFINITELY worth considering.

Is the evening night show free?

Yes. After 5pm there's no entrance fee to the Land of Legends complex, so you can explore Shopping Avenue and watch the night shows without buying a ticket. The shows usually run from around 8:30pm and feature fountain displays, boat parades, live performances and light shows. It's a brilliant evening out for families even if you haven't spent the day at the park.
