When I stayed at Gloria Golf Hotel I had a lovely time! I thought that the facilities were amazing, although sometimes slightly dated, especially for families. There is a huge selection of restaurants and bars and the main buffet restaurant is lovely and serves great food. There are also many other lovely al a carte restaurants such as the Italian or Asian restaurant which serve delicious food - although I would recommend booking these as soon as you arrive, especially if you have a large group as they are easily booked out. There is is also a spectacular patisseries serving delicious and fresh cakes and other sweet snacks. I thought the rooms were clean but slightly dated. It seemed that the bathrooms had been modernised but the rooms and main block were still quite old. My room was in the main hotel block but I believe the family sweets are more modern. As I say again the facilities are amazing for children. The waterpark is very fun and contains slides for young and older children. There is also a large main pool with lots of seating and there is also a beach. I was slightly disappointed in the beach as I thought there were not many staff around to help but other than that it was lovely. There are also pavilions on the beach which are available for rent but they are very expensive at €150 per day. My only main criticism of the whole resort is that I think the service is not always very good. Some staff are lovely and helpful while I saw some staff huffing and puffing when I asked for something. The service is quite inconsistent and sometimes it takes 2 or 3 people just to get something done. Lastly, I would definitely recommend the all inclusive package as I think it is one of the very best I have ever seen. As well as including lunch, dinner and breakfast in the main buffet restaurant you also get to dine in 3 al a carte restaurants per week, anything from the minibar, the patisserie and room service at certain times as well as much more. Overall, I had a lovely time and really enjoyed this resort.

Excellent staff who couldn't be more helpful. We stayed in an executive villa which was good but looking a bit worse for wear in that the upholstery in the lounge was stained, having said that we spent so little time in the villa it didn't really matter. The food is really good with an excellent range and again, the staff are brilliant. The hotel provides swimming lessons for youngsters and by the end of the holiday my little grandson was just about swimming - the team were great, really encouraged him and gave him confidence whilst still being alert to what was happening, indeed one jumped in fully clothed when a little boy fell in! lMy main gripe this visit (our 3rd) is the increased cost of the pavilions - now €150 per day. One of our party has I the past suffered a melanoma and so has to stay I the shade, we thought €100 per day was pushing it when compared to the pavilions at the Xanado next door. Perhaps villa guests could have them half price? However we had a really good holiday and are looking forward to next year

Just returned from a fabulous week's stay at the Gloria with a family of 2 kids. All if us loved it their and asking to go back... Nice rooms and hotel spaces, delicious food with a massively wide choice, lots of relaxing activities and we could go on. The evening entertainment was of high quality and a big draw for all residents. The only issue we had that the hotel was full and very busy so we had to hunt for sun beds and quiet spaces. Also the options for vegetarian food were not that many. Finally they had a nice and hospitable touch before we left. We checked out by noon and our flight was in the evening so they let us use all the restaurants and facilities for free during the intervening time!! Thank you.

We stayed in a pool side family suite which was highly convenient for our 7 & 5 year olds. We got lucky with a ground floor one a few steps away from the family restaurant. The suite has a twin bedded room just inside the main door and adults superking bed in L shaped room/suite with sofa, TV, fridge and table, the kids have their own bathroom with shower and grown ups a shower over bath, all very smart. The breakfast staff were very friendly and child centred. There are crepes, scotch pancakes, eggs and bacon to order with buffet of cereals, toast, cheeses and fruit. Rolls and croissants are on the table. Childcare is included for family suite guests but we chose to come in with our kids who loved the soft play jungle, video games, play houses and toys. Useful to escape the sun here in the middle of the day. We loved the shows in open air amphitheatre and stayed on UK time to enjoy our evenings. Useful tips; bring your own jnflatable toys eg lilo or ring as everything else is included but these are pricy in the onsite shop. Bring Euros not Lire for extras eg pottery/painting/watersports. Trampolines on the beach were surprisingly cooling for kids. Cocktails on beach pavilion over the sea were fun. International drinks and food were all classy. Free chocolates and cakes from the patisserie made this a very indulgent holiday! Seafood at the Galeon restaurant by the beach was excellent. Well worth going AI. The staff are all professional and the amount of space meant it didn't feel crowded even in the first week of the school holidays. Waterpark was great though the other guests aren't keen on sharing the rings -this isn't policed but lifeguards manage the slides. All in all a fabulous holiday, I suspect all other AI holidays will pale in comparison to this...
