We (4 Adults, 1 teen and 1 11yr old) booked this holiday through a low cost website company on a self catering basis and wasn't really sure what to expect... What a little beauty. This hotel was...
First of all we were 20 minutes delayed by the hotel staff with our check in as our room still was not ready and being cleaned. When we finally got keys for our room we were shocked by cleanliness of the floor. It doesn't even looked like it was cleaned at all as there were black hair everywhere even on the kitchen worktop which was absolutely disgusting, coins under sofa and side table, dust and some dirt, chocolate bar wrapper behind sofa ect... When we mentioned it to the maid she made such unhappy face, went to our room and washed the floor only in the middle didn't touched any corner. We then went to complain at reception before our room was finally properly cleaned. The ventilation in the bathroom is blocked by dust so it is getting very stuffy when you taking shower or even just close the bathroom door. We booked self catering one bedroom apartments and the rooms are good size with a big balcony. Equipment in the kitchen was OK apart from knife. We found only the knife with serrated blade which is bread knife and it was absolutely unusable for general use. When we asked at reception for normal one, we were told that they only have bread knifes in the hotel and if we think it is unusable then we would have to buy it in the shop. Beach towels, remote control and Iron you can get at reception for free but with deposit for each thing for 10 Euro. There is not sandy beaches near the hotel. We had a car so went and explored around. We found Los Cristianos beach quite dirty. The most beach we enjoyed is El Medano. Nearest restaurants you will find on the way to San Blas on Av J.M. Galván Bello. Also near Santa Barbara hotel on Av del Atlàntico. There is also nice walk and view behind of the Santa Barbara hotel. Tips: If you planning to go to Loro Parque or Siam Park it is cheaper to buy Twin Ticket. We bought tickets in advance on Travel Republic website and paid £40 for adults for both parks and £27 for child.

Had a great time and location was perfect. The staff were helpful. the room was great, but I didn't understand why the cleaner only clean the rooms every day except Wednesday and Friday and my Toilet in my room didn't flush properly . My only criticisms are you have pay a deposit for TV remote, towels, iron etc. Asmy room was self-catering, I only had dinner at hotel restuarant, and Didn't like as it was limited choices, would been happy to go Mcdonalds instead. Travelling was ok, I used a Bono card which allows more than one person to use the travel card and but if you use the buses be care because the buses that pass through the hotel, each of them go to two different locations and can be very confusing . Lastly people will argue if it 4 star hotel. I would say between 3 star and 4 star but i would definitely would stay at this hotel again.

as the title says this was a last minute booking.. it turned out to be a good choice, you arrive out side to a impressive entrance, then enter in to the large lobby . check in staff were great very help full(i arrived early 9 am. normal check in 4pm)an had the room ready in about 30 minutes.which gave me time to have a quick drink by the pool.my apartment was on the second floor at the front of the building with good view of El teide .the apartment it s self is a one bed with separate bath /shower an a small but well equipped kitchen. But the best bit for me was the double balcony that court the sun for most of the day on one side or the other. thier is a nice pool at the back with sun terraces an sun beds (pool bar ) can not comment on the spa as i never used it.also never used the restaurant, so no comment there. If your wanting to get out an about the bus stop is right out side (o.k. down the road from reception) fairs are cheap even more so with a bono via card. or take a taxi. or even an organized tour .
