have stayed at this hotel before and am going back this year the entertainment was better than we have had in a 5star hotel the staff are lovely it is very clean and you are so local to the beach and...
We just got back from our vacation from Viva Wyndham Azteca, Mexico. and may I say that if anyone complains of this hotel, they are extremely demanding. We arrived on Feb 16th and left on March 2nd 2015. We met a lot of people from different countrys and mostly everyone were great. The staff from the floor cleaner to the mangement are all very nice and very helpful they serve you with a smile. Our chamber made was very nice and done a very good job on cleaning, we always had a different decoration on our bed every day. The grounds and complete hotel was extremely clean. The food at the buffet was excellent lots to choose from and service was also excellent we had Edith in the morning and lunch she was just great. The only complaint was the tea or coffee was not hot enough. The a la carte restaurants were exceptional very classy no complaint there either. The bar at the pool and in the lobby had very good service. The animators at the pool and on the beach done a very good job to get people to participate in the games and bingo and were all extremely pleasant (20 of them). The beach area is very nice plenty of chairs, shade or sunshine. They have child care which we did not need but people who did said they were very good with the kids. The entertainement shows were done by the animators and were exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel.
stayed here October great hotel, food was lovely , staff very helpful, got in room 1230, had great room with pool view, entertainment was excellent. less than 5 mins from beach, 10 min walk to magalu...
we vacationed from February 22 to March 1, 2015. We flew into Cozumel instead of Cancun, this was the best way to get to Riviera Maya, and you get to travel on the ferry. This may not be for some, but we found it fantastic! Our check in was very quick, we upgraded our room to Oceanview, we were the closest room the to ocean, it was incredible! The view was amazing and so was the room, everything is very clean here. Once in our room we noticed that the battery on the safe needed to be replaced (you have to pay to use the safe) we went to the front desk to let them know, and the repairperson almost bet us to our room, now that is service! The next day, my husband thought the view would be better if they cut a couple of branches off the palm trees, we carried on our way and walked to the Viva Maya. By the time we came back the trees were trimmed!!!!! Outstanding service. The food is incredible here, we ate at the Italian once, it was very good, but, believe it or not, we looked forward to the buffet for all,of our meals. The grounds are kept pristine, the staff at this resort go above and beyond, and work very hard, and always with a smile. Othaniel and Robert, at the lobby bar were outstanding, they really Wanted to know you and about you, and always had a smile on their faces, I already miss my cappuccino! The gentleman that served us coffee at the buffet every morning was such a happy person, we really do not know how anyone could have a bad time here, from the maids to the chefs to the grounds keepers...outstanding. I almost forgot to mention Edgar and Gina, thank you for the spanish/mexican lessons, we will keep them up! We were worried about the hard bed, it was not at all. It was very comfortable, also, the one bottle of water is not a big deal at all, we purchased another one and just filled them up, not a big deal!
We stayed here June 2014 (10th -24th). Overall we had a brilliant holiday, as your holiday is what you make it!! I emailed the hotel prior to our trip, asking for a 3rd or 4th floor room (as I’m...
The first day was spectacular! We felt immediately welcome and were blown away by all the fun activities. We did all the group activities and the shows were great. Ceasar impressed us the most with how he integrated us in all of the activities. Thank you from Holland and we Will definitely come back and refer people to your amazing location!!
I love this hotel. We have been twice with the family and had a great holiday on both occasions. The rooms are basic but clean. The location is excellent, 2 mins to the beach and only 5/10mins to...
I recently returned from a fantastic week-long stay at the Viva Wyndham Azteca. It was nice to stay in a smaller, more intimate resort--it was quick and easy access to the beach, our room, the pool, snack bar, lobby and lovely little terrace. ALL of the staff at the resort were exceedingly friendly, warm, and helpful, and we had great service in every aspect. There was no difficulty booking the a la carte restaurants, which were really fun and had great food. I would recommend the Mayan and Italian restaurants at the Azteca, and the Mexican restaurant at the sister hotel. The buffet had a wide selection for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and we left satisfied and satiated after every meal there. The snack bar near the pool was also great, and was open all night for us late night people! Don't miss spending time in the terrace during the day and at night--it was really, really lovely. While the beds were a little bit hard for my preference, they were in keeping with my expectations considering it is an all-inclusive beach resort--and we had excellent sleeps! Perhaps most importantly, the resort was spotlessly clean. We were so impressed to see the staff going above and beyond in this regard. Overall, the hotel was excellent, and I would recommend it to friends.
Summer months are the most popular for Majorca holidays due to the blue skies and sheer amount of sunshine. If you are coming to Palma Nova, you'll be going home with a lovely healthy bronzed tan!
If you want to visit in the cooler months you can still expect plenty of Mediterranean sunshine and temperatures around 20° Celsius but be aware that there may be a few rain showers.
As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
