Booked Roc Costa Park on 4* rating for hotel and tripadvisor....reality is it's a 3* at best and have noticed it's now down to 3.5 on TA. The main entertainment area is the same as most hotels we have stayed in, karaoke, exotic animals etc and yes to get a table you have to eat early. As 75-80% staying here are Spanish all the adults seemed to smoke so we moved to a smaller bar but still unpleasant. Food par the course for a 3*. Main pool is overcrowed due to half the pool over 2 metres deep so my 9 yr old only had a small area to play in or tread water...inflatables banned i presume due to overcrowding. Not a great deal of space for sunbeds if you didn't fancy queuing for a hour for a poolside one. Still had a good time with our friends but wouldn't return anytime soon.

What a fantastic time we has has roc costa park. We found staff friendly helpful and happy. We made lots of friends for life and brilliant memories. Rooms were spacious and cleaned everyday.no sign of cockroaches or anything. Food was eadible something for everyone. Entertainment staff and bar staff are amazing. U can get a cab or shuttle bus down to the beach. One bit of advice is to encourage a line up system to be served. Spanish push in ....well tried. Kids need ice and cups at the soft drinks so they are not near the bar. We will be back xxx

My husband and I went here for our honeymoon and I must say we were deeply disappointed. Although its not included you would expect a 4* hotel to make it nice for you or to offer a nicer room.....We had nothing. Nothing special was put in our room and even upon requesting Champagne for our room we were told they couldn't help. However two days later I mentioned it to another receptionist and she had a lovely fruit basket and Champagne delivered......These are the little things that make the stay slightly more special and make you feel like they actually care. Our room was clean and spacious and although slightly high....6th floor. We liked it. Our telly did not work though and we if you wanted a fridge you had to pay 10 Euros a day.....this should be included in 4* accommodation and should not be extra. It also came to my attention that Brits were all at one end over looking side streets and the Spanish all had rooms over looking the hotel pool and grounds. The food was plentiful but rather the same each day. The breakfast was definitely the best meal of the day by far. The dinner hall reminded me of a rather rowdy school hall and was a free for all. One morning I had my chair taken whilst going to get some food!! The facilities were in no way large enough for the size of the hotel. You had to queue from 0830 to get a sun lounger by the pool which did not open till 1000. I don't know how people with small children coped having to wait so long for the pool. If you didn't queue up you simply did not get a bed!! There were large groups of Spanish who took all other beds in the resort....reserving up to 9 or 10 at a time. It was very intimidating walking past them to get drinks. This hotel was mainly taken up by large groups of Spanish families. They were very intimidating, very rude and incredibly loud. On a few occasions we witnessed them smoking cannabis around the pool area but a blind eye was turned by security. I witnessed a few confrontations from the Spanish towards the Brits as the Spanish refused to queue for anything and were quite happy to push and shove us out of the way. the Security guard at this hotel (a rather large intimidating looking man) had absolutely no interest in anything we had to say and would just ignore anything we said. Basically if you are British DO NOT GO HERE!!! If we hadn't have explored the area and stayed in this hotel for the whole week it would have been rubbish. I would definitely not recommend this hotel or visit it again.

Awful. God knows why international customer go back. I experienced racial attack, physically and verbally. I report things to the security guard or staff and either get a shrug of the shoulders or my favourite line must have been the male receptionist when I told him how I didn't feel safe "what do you want me to do about it, they are our clients as well, we wont intervene". Snack bar is a good idea if you miss meals but then again not if your british you are pushed out the way physically but the locals. I think it is shocking the staff attitude towards with issue. the staff are friendly and polite until you have an issue. Also they sell you inflatables in for the pool and depending on the lifeguard you could use them. A British guy was attacked by a large gang of Spanish for sitting on a sun bed they wanted. then another one hit with glass. Spanish kids trying to hold my boy under water. I didn't go half a day without having some Spanish local saying something to me or my kids. My two boys where in tears with it. I have put over three grand into our first family holiday and wish id went to a Scottish caravan park and had a better time. fantastic if your Spanish. picture make it look like a lovely relaxing resort I was on edge, constantly protecting my kids from abuse. going to the bar being pushed my locals with them saying no whites served before us. If you are going in a week cancel I wish I did any money back would be better than losing it all on this holiday. The food is not fantastic tbh breakfast is the best time of the day.
