Just back from 7 days here. The hotel is huge and very close to the beach, the photos do not lie! It is a very clean hotel and you are never really a few feet away from a member of staff. Before we went both my husband and myself emailed at different times to ask for adjoining rooms as he was with his son and me with my 3 children. However, I was disappointed when we got there and my husband asked the gentleman checking us in if they were and he said yes, only to find that they weren't. They were next door to each other but completely separate. Breakfast was good. Good selection. Orange juice was always watery but it always is in my experience! Pools are good. The heated pool was still a little chilly for me but the kids loved it and weren't bothered by the cold. Weather was mixed while we were there. One day the maintenance had cordoned off half the sunbeds to wash the beds and floors around. This was annoying as it was the ones closest to the pool and we had to sit quite far back and crane our necks to see the kids and keep going over to see them! This was done around lunch time. Ludicrous time! Do it after 8pm when the pool shuts or early before it opens, not at a time when kids want to swim. Lifts are a bit of mare. If it says its going up when you get on, its probably going to every floor above you lol. Same going down. There are lifts all over so just make sure you dont use the main ones, they are busiest. Try and find the others. Rooms cleaned every day and no probs there. We had a junior suite. Pleased to see that the sofa bed had a separate pull out bed that could be used independantly of the sofa and moved. Overall, very nice hotel. Bit of a walk to the majority of shops if you have little ones. But we split it up with drink stops.

Everything in the hotel was good to be honest, Breakfast. Rooms, pool area, Location. I had a small issue and went down to reception rather than help I had one woman trying to be as obstructive as possible and the one next to her saying in Spanish just send him away. It's a shame that a hotel which tries so hard can be spoilt by reception staff that either don't want to be there or would rather have an argument than help you.

Year round, Benalmadena enjoys a mild, humid climate with hot, dry summers that typically range from 26 to 32° Celsius from May until August. The water temperature rarely drops below the low twenties in the summer, making it the ideal climate to catch a few rays or enjoy the clarity of the warm, blue waters off the coast.
