Stayed here for two nights with my wife for a midweek break. We had been to the area a number of times but never stayed here. We had a really lovely two days here. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, the staff polite and professional. We had a sea view and were on a high floor so the view was amazing, especially at sunrise and sunset. Went to the in house entertainment on one night and though this would normally not be our normal choice it was very enjoyable and if we get a chance to see Ricky again we will take it. We are returning again in July with the two kids for our family holiday and I cannot wait. The only thing I would say is that the breakfast is poor. The coffee on the buffet is just awful, the choice is ok but all the hot food was not very hot. There is however a shop on site and cooking facilities in the room so it's very easy to make your own. If you don't want to do that there's plenty places close by to get a breakfast.

Have to say I stayed here a little while ago, but being a regular visitor to the area, I pass it most times I stay. The hotel is large but has excellent restaurants and a fine pool, with it's own beach area. The sap is first class and I have used the indoor pool and spa many times. The food in the main restaurant is top notch and I had a superb chateau briand when I dined there last. When I stayed the other guests were polite and quiet which made a nice change for a hotel this size. Service from reception to house keeping to bar and restaurant is top class.

Ignore the whinging review below, theres nothing wrong with the rooms and if he did some research, he would have found out that the marina is a 30 min walk from the hotel. I stayed at the sunset beach last October, and its a great hotel and fantastic value for money, Im not gonna repeat whats already been said in the excellent reviews, other than I am returning here in May with family and friends for my 40th birthday.
Year round, Benalmadena enjoys a mild, humid climate with hot, dry summers that typically range from 26 to 32° Celsius from May until August. The water temperature rarely drops below the low twenties in the summer, making it the ideal climate to catch a few rays or enjoy the clarity of the warm, blue waters off the coast.
