We stayed here in Aug 2014. The hotel was very clean, the kitchen was useful with enough utensils etc, spacious bedroom, and a lounge area with TV and a table and chairs. The balcony was a fair enough size and we had a partial sea view. We travelled as a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children (aged 8 and 2) and we found there to be enough room however I am unsure if it would feel cramped with older kids. There was a basket of fruit, wine, and some sweeties on arrival which was a lovely touch. The pool area was perfect, it never seemed too overcrowded and there were planned activities if you wanted to get involved (the weekly foam party was good fun for the kids). We walked along the prom for dinner each evening so cannot comment on the dinner at the hotel but other guests praised it. There is a Dia supermarket at the bottom of the path to the rear of the hotel which was great for stocking up on essentials/Cava etc. The hotel gym was good and was empty most of the time. There was an indoor pool which was great when it got too hot. The hotel staff were always helpful and we are especially grateful to them for saving the day when we realised at airport security that we had left our toddlers bedtime teddy in the hotel room!! After an email asking if they could help, not only did they find it and respond, but they sent a photo of the teddy at hotel reception (looking very happy), and returned it to us sporting a Benny t-shirt. We were very impressed overall and would return.

Short break between 8th & 12th February 2015 our second stay at the Hotel and well worth returning as the standards are very high and facilities always clean and tidy. The staff are always very helpful and polite with nothing too much trouble. A nice family orientated hotel and would gladly recommend it as even if the weather is poor there is always something to keep you entertained within the complex.

We stayed at the Benalmadena Palace from 15th to 22nd February 2015. The first to greet us was Carlos at reception. He is very polite and very friendly. All the staff go out of their way to help, and nothing is too much trouble. The food is unbelievable and caters for all tastes. The staff never stand still and are helpful and polite. Although the hotel was full, it was very quiet on a night. Just the odd loud talking which didn't last long. The hotel is on a very steep bank and may cause older or less mobile people problems. The gym is small but well equipped, and the indoor and outdoor pools are large. All in all I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis and are spotless. You can hire a safe for a few euros a day.

MCI Our 4th visit, and not the last as the Benalmadena Palace suits our needs. The huge indoor pool and spa is super, and a plus if the weather is not good. Staff extremely helpful, and there are lots of little areas on different levels to sit or sunbathe. Evening buffet meals can be booked on ad hoc basis, and are good. Evening entertainment ok but starts too late for young families. Steep hill up to the hotel, but there is a frequent courtesy bus into town. Rooms kept spotlessly clean, and nice white bedding; well thought out appartments with high spec; eg doors close quietly. We certainly haven t found anywhere better.
Year round, Benalmadena enjoys a mild, humid climate with hot, dry summers that typically range from 26 to 32° Celsius from May until August. The water temperature rarely drops below the low twenties in the summer, making it the ideal climate to catch a few rays or enjoy the clarity of the warm, blue waters off the coast.
As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
