Stayed here with my husband and 2 children aged 4 & 6 for 10 nights all inclusive. Stayed in benalmadena several times but 1st time at this hotel, we were very impressed. All inclusive facilities excellent, food of a high standard and the snack bar for lunch is really lovely. Kids entertainment was absolutely fantastic and made the holiday for us and more importantly the children. Puri from the bennys club was outstanding with our boys Jack & oliver. They loved her and she made sure that their day was extra special and lots of fun. So much so that they wanted to stay in the children's club for the full day!! Would highly recommend this hotel and we will without doubt visiting here again. Fantastic holiday!!!

I find myself often looking through pictures from our holiday here. It was our first holiday away with our girls, who were then 3 and 6. We had an amazing time. The hotel and pool was lovely and clean. The food was really lovely! Particularly liked the piano playing. The staff were brilliant! I'd quite happily visit again tomorrow :)

This was our 1st visit to Benalmadena palace. We found an amazing team of staff who all deserve to be complimented. Many many plus points for this hotel. First of all I must compliment the Reception Staff who were all so friendly, helpful, polite and efficient. Maids done a good job looking after the rooms. Delighted to have a room with a bath/shower and another separate shower cubicle. Lifeguards too also deserve a mention. Very vigilant. Theres a really good indoor Kids Club that has lots to entertain the kids and the staff there were brilliant with the kids. There is always games around the pool for both adults and children run by animation staff although I have to say that we did find this all a bit too much and noisy with things going on almost all day in the pool.. Theres no pressure to join in though. We often would escape for some "quiet time" to use the indoor pool which is a good size and has a jacuzzi etc etc. Mini disco from 8 -9 and this was followed by bingo ( if you like that) and then usually some entertainment such as Parrot Show, Dance Show, Grease...... Bar staff all very friendly too. All aimed at family entertainment. Another plus point is the courtesy bus service to and from the beach (every 30 mins) which saves the "dreaded hill" !! Although we booked self catering we did eat breakfast 7 mornings and found the choices to be really good. Dinner also was ok although we only ate in the hotel a couple of times. Thought pool bar snacks not that great and not so cheap. Sun bed situation was slightly stressful. I appreciate that the management are trying to stop the "booking of beds". Lifeguards patrolled round the pool every morning and carefully kept an eye on people leaving towels on sunbeds. If you left your bed for say 20 mins the lifeguard would fold your towels and take them with any inflatables etc to the lifeguard station and they stayed there until the owners claimed them. This meant that if you wanted to go for breakfast you had about 20 mins!!! We ended up going in relays which meant the family didn't eat breakfast together. We do not book beds and then return at 12 or 1 as many others do. However, as previously said I do understand what the management are trying to achieve here and guests quickly became aware of the procedure. All in all this is a good, clean, well run family hotel. We did enjoy our stay there but perhaps next time will book something smaller and a little quieter.

Three couples stayed in this hotel for one week in July 2015. Although there is an adult only bar we found the hotel very family orientated which is not a complaint but not somewhere I would advise for anyone who would stay without kids. We went selfcatering incase we didn't like the food on offer which happened us in other hotels before but on this occasion the food which we bought by the bar was first class. Pint of beer priced at 3 euro. Indoor pool/health suite was very good and was worth a visit. Only complaint we had was that we wanted to upgrade to full inclusive for one day only but from this year on the minimum tenure for this is five days. All in all a nice clean hotel with good food and a nice family atmosphere.
