Well, we're just home from an 8 night stay here with our two children aged 8 and 16 months and we're already discussing when to go back. We initially booked half board as we thought we'd make a few days trips to the Dolphins etc and eat lunch out, However after the first day we decided to go all inclusive as our 8yr old didn't want to leave the hotel as she loved it and the food was great! Bedrooms: We had a studio apartment on the 6th floor, the room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Food: The restaurant for dinner was a lovely relaxed environment and the the choice for food was great, the chocolate fountain was a big hit with the kids and balloon making for the kids was a great touch by Angy who everyone loved. The service was great, tables were always cleared very quickly and someone always came over promptly to take our drink orders and always happy staff. The snack bar was great for lunch and again the service was great,Manuel and the rest of the staff are great! The pool side bar had such a lovely girl called Christine and she was very helpful. The pool: We spent most of our time at the adult pool as our daughter wanted to be here, although she is a confident swimmer I still never take my eyes off her in the water, but the lifeguards are so attentive and cautious and really helpful so this was great peace of mind to me throughout our stay. The lifeguards are in the water watching carefully during the foam party and the water slide and always on the ball watching the kids. They have to be strict with some people giving out about not being allowed extra large floats or holding beds, but this is for the safety and comfort of everyone, we made the mistake of buying a large float and weren't allowed in with it which was fine and our own fault for not seeing the signs beforehand. There's lots of activities going on during the day, water sports, cocktail making, music playing etc. Kids club: I didn't think I would let my 8yr old stay in the kids club alone, but once I spent some time in there with her I realised it was very safe and all of the staff made great efforts with the kids, they didn't just supervise them, they played with them. No child could leave unless a parent collected them unless you state otherwise or else they would call you if the child wanted to leave, on one occasion they couldn't reach us so they personally brought our daughter to us as she wanted to leave which again was great peace of mind. There is a mini playground at the back of the kids club completely shaded and is very cool which was great for younger kids to get a break from the heat. Beny the tiger was a big hit as was the disco. Entertainment: Well....Mario and Patrice are just a fantastic asset to the hotel, Mario never failed to make us laugh or encourage us to join in without being pushy. I thought the bingo would be boring but it was a great way to start the night off and all of the kids and adults seemed to enjoy this each night. Our favourite night was Mr. Benalmadena Palace!! We cried laughing and Patricia aka Patrice.....Mrs. Benalmadema Palace 1986 had people in hysterics! Sergio and Simon and the rest of the bar staff in Beny's bar were always so energetic and helpful. The entertainment was different each night and was suitable for adults and kids, the arcade room across from the bar kept the older kids happy. Please tell Mario and Patrice that Mr. Benalmadena Palace will be back next year to reclaim his title and year after year after that. Each member of staff was extremely helpful and fun in their own way and always trying to help out and make your stay that bit better. If I had any suggestions on how to improve, it would be an information leaflet handed to each person at check in, I know we received one but it only had basic info on it and plain white and not very appealing to read. Maybe a colourful leaflet outlining all of the poolside rules, activities, entertainment, kids club info for the week and information on what exactly is available on the ai, I.e the ice pops, ice cream, trays of crisps etc, a colourful map of the hotel with directions to the rear of the hotel to the beach/ supermarket, also maybe more signs in the hotel as to where everything is, we only found out Beny's bar was there on the second night! This is by no means a negative but just a suggestion. I couldn't fault the hotel and will be returning next year ourselves and extended family will be coming too. Mr. Benalmadena Palace and Jenny.

Stayed here on the All Inc basis for 10 days in August with our 2 children ( 2 and 7 ). Lovely hotel , Room - we stayed in a 1 bed apartment which was big enough for the four of us and well equipped. Very clean Food - is excellent - lots of choice even for a picky eater. Snack bar for lunch is inc in Al and a great change from the buffet , we ate there every lunch . Small tubs of Ice creams, basic ice lollies , trays of crisps are all available for the snack bar on Al. Pool - nice size with lots going on , We had no issues with finding a sunbed , there always seemed to be enough spare regardless what time we came down which in August is amazing. Watermelon being brought round in the afternoon is an excellent touch. Entertainment - evening entertainment is very good, Mario clearly works really hard to keep it light hearted and funny....and he succeeds. Kids entertainment is also very good, excellent kids club and that Beny is like a Hollywood movie star ....the kids go mad for him. Would definitely recommend for families and would definitely return. Thank you Benalmadena Palace for a wonderful holiday!

Came here self catering so cannot say what the food was like but I can imagine it would be nice judging by rest of the hotel. We had a great room with sea views and a nice balcony to enjoy our food purchased from the very near Maxi Dia supermarket. The hotel had a great English style bar with happy hour and good beer. Would definitely return.
