Hi All. If youre like us and have tried all different types of hotels looking for a place that you tell yourself "Id go back there next year" then we can honestly say we have found ours. This hotel was recommended to us by Lorraine OConnor in Fox Travel who herself had it booked to bring her family on holidays. Flying from Cork, Ireland. Just over 2 hr flight time. Sceptical as usual we ventured out to the Benalmadena Palace for a 10 day All inclusive holiday with our 2 children aged 6 and 4 yrs. *The first thing that was apparent was how clean the entire hotel was. *Very friendly Staff. *The kids club is excellent. It allowed for myself and my wife to relax and have a holiday too. *Food was tasty, plentiful and varied. *No body allowed to hog the sunbeds by putting out towels early. A rule that we witnessed being enforced on several occasions. *Plenty of Shade too. Great for the little ones afternoon nap. *On duty Lifeguard *Excellent Pool entertainment. *Good nightly entertainment. *Well located near the Supermarket, Burger King, shops and the beach. *A/C all over the hotel. *Comfortable beds with memory foam pillows. Slept like a log. *I was particularly impressed watching the Hotel manager doing his daily inspections and would quickly radio to staff to fix, clean or replace anything that wasnt up to his standards. We have clocked up quite a few holidays but this so far Tops the list. This is the one. This is it.... We found it. Keep up the Good Work Benalmadena Palace. Thanks to Alicia (restaraunt) David (front desk) Patricia & Puri (kids club) Mario (entertainment) for making our holiday great. The hotel itself is very nice, food good and pool is nice. The rooms are well equipped and modern and the whole place is immaculately clean. However the resort is massive meaning a bus ride down to the watermark and other hotels. In the complex (made up of several hotels) this one is right at the top if a big Hill and whilst the hotel is nice I felt that some of the others were more impressive.

After first arriving at this hotel we were really pleasantly surprised, how that changed after being there a few days. The staff at the snack bar were great at first and couldn't do enough for you, then it changed and we was ignored numerous times, yes it was busy at times but when it wasn't it still happened, monica was rude on a few occasions and I found this off putting everytime we went for a drink. The pool had broken tiles on the bottom and quite a few people and kids were cut, they actually carried out repairs while the pool was full also. overall this hotel is ok but deffinatly not a 4 star, food is nice but everyday is more or less the same. I must mention the bar guy in benys he was very polite and helpful, also Michael the waiter a lovely guy aswell. I wont be returning to this hotel has its a little out of the way from the centre and when you have children in that kind of heat its impossible to walk.

We booked our holiday a year in advance. Being a family of 6 (mum/dad and 4 children under 12 yrs) we requested two apartments next to each other. When we arrived we were given rooms in different corridors. It took two days of going back and forth to reception before they reluctantly gave us rooms next to each other. After a ten day stay we asked if we could extend one of our rooms until later as we had a night flight and the children would be tired, we were told a blank 'no' They made no effort to help us. Really disappointed with the poor service. In addition to this we saw numerous people with cut toes from the broken tiles in the pool. The pool attendant was in the pool most days removing said objects. In addition to this the hotels pictures of the pool are misleading, the pool area is a lot smaller than portrayed. The Marina is a good 40 minute walk away and the hotel is situated at the top of a steep hill.
