I paid my 4th visit to the auramar last november, and it struck me that it was turning into an old peoples club, now I am elderly but I don't think I'm ready for this kind of thing yet. I noticed that the same people who had been there previous years all very cliquey , have to sit on the same table, or else! so I'm not sure if I will be going back there, maybe give it a miss this year, or try a different time. The positives about the auramar, it is very good value for money, I have always found the reception staff friendly, and the fact that someone helps with your luggage is anice touch, and I have never noticed any bad smells in reception, only air freshener. The rooms are a bit dated, but they are clean, the tv does only have news channels and I think they could give you more english channels they used to have bbc 1 &2. because not everybody wants to go down all those steps to be entertained and if like me you travel solo going out at night is a no no. The food is a bit repetitive but for the price you pay its not bad, whilst I was there we had almost a week with bacon everyday, its usually every other day so I don't know what was going on there. I went AI for the first time, and I think the food at lunchtime was sometimes better than what they served at night there was always a couple of meat dishes and fish also a lovely salad bar soup etc pudding was either jelly or some angel delight or fresh fruit. The lunchtime restaurant is a bit like school canteen but its clean, one thing you do have to watch out for is the guy who serves the drinks Renato, what a nasty little man he is he will try to give you the flat coke dregs that have been left in the bottle, watch him. The main restaurant sometimes has paella or a joint of pork for you to carve yourself, but the biggest asset in there is the lovely Alina, what a star she is always smiling always pleasant, very efficient . Theres not much more I can say about the auramar that I haven't already said, its in a fabulous position you always get a wonderful sea view, its a good value basic hotel, only down side is the amount of steps, so its not for the less mobile . I'm still undecided about going back there, but I do really like it.

We stayed at this Hotel last year, the views and position of the hotel are Amazing, but the staff were very rude and unhelpful, which was disopointing as it was early in the season so it was not as it they were wore out,the staff had trouble understanding what you was wanting, and because of this they lost there patience very quickly, and started shouting and walking of in moods, which when you have paid good money to stay somewhere you don't wish to be treated like a naughty school child.the biggest problems was the stagg party's, the food was not that good passable,if you want a hotel in a good position this is the one,but don't exspect grate hospitality.

Not such a great deal for us, booked it has it advertised a gym, heated pool both of which appealed to us, the gym was unsafe with broken down equipment and should not have been open. The heated pool was a very small indoor pool for children. We asked for a warm room given the time of year with a pool view and got neither. We reported a leak with water running through the electric lamp on day 2, problem not yet addressed as we left. Safety deposit boxes were 15 euros non refundable, but if you don't have one then the hotel wouldn't be responsible for lossess, so should have been provided or a smaller charge. As for the all inclusive, well the meals breakfast poor, lunch pretty average, evening meals quite good. Entertainment was held in the main lobby area, which was dangerous with many steps to and from the bar. Bedroom was kept clean but was very dated, bathrooms could do with being refurbished. Should have guessed the price v the description was too good to be True, given all the negatives we still enjoyed our stay and the staff apart from one were all pleasant
