The location of this hotel is perfect, 5 minute walk to the new town strip and 20 minute walk along the beach to the old town. The hotel itself is a little old, well worn and could certainly do with an update but it is clean enough (we did have ants and a cockroach on the 1st floor though!?) with lovely and helpful staff, a great pool and beautiful view of the ocean. I have been here twice now on an all inclusive basis and have not been overly impressed either time. The only things worth going all inclusive for are the lunch which was awesome every day, and the drinks which are limited in variety but nice and strong. A good mix of people stay at the hotel but you will need to go out in the evenings as the entertainment leaves a lot to be desired. I would return to this hotel but purely for the location and not much else unfortunately.

A friend and I booked the hotel because of its location and we weren't disappointed. The cliff top hotel had a good sized swimming pool and plenty of sun loungers (although many were taken quite early in the morning). The beach was a short, steep walk away and had sun loungers and parasols for hire. The all inclusive package was ok. Plenty of salad and a variety of fish and meat dishes. My main grumble was queuing for a cafeteria style lunch. The room we had was a little 'tired' in the decor area but kept very clean. Only a three star hotel so good for what it was.

Just returned from a break at Auramar , it was my 3rd visit and I dont understand the negative reviews . Yes the hotel is dated but its a good 3 star , the food is great , location superb , staff friendly , all inclusive drinks are fine 11am to 11pm . PIty bottled water isnt included , but its only a Euro for 1.5 litres in shops . The rooms have great air con - a must in summer and a fridge in the rooms is very handy . I would definitely go back !

just returned from a short 5 day break. I had read the mixed reviews but went with an open mind. What a lovely surprise. Yes it is dated but you're not paying massive prices. We found it very clean, our room was a good size with an added bonus of a small kitchenette. The food wasn't top restaurant standard but there was a massive choice and all really tasty. . We found most of the staff friendly and willing to help especially the entertainment team. The pool is a fantastic size very clean with plenty of sun beds all over the grounds. There wasn't enough sunshades and some were broken which was a shame. One tip I read was to take your own hair dryer as the rooms don't have them and so we followed this advice and were pleased we did. Also there are lots of steps all over the hotel not only down to the beach as its built on a cliff so beware if your not like it flat. All in all it was great value for money and a lovely break.
