The good first: The property is good and conveniently located having access to the best part of candolim beach. Clean rooms, bedding, toilets. Good breakfast. The bad: Buildings are quite old with age old, fittings and useless ACs. Have stayed there twice and found that a very few rooms are better than others. Final verdict: There are better places in the same area for less charges. But not too bad if you are stuck with it.

I stayed for three nights in this hotel, it is very normal hotel. The room rent is also high. The hotel is constructed in a colonial style. All the furniture is old. Air conditioner is too noisy. Badly requires renovation. Restaurant is normal and very limited menu. One good thing is this hotel is close to the beach. Housekeeping is not upto mark, even basic toiletries are not available. Overall it is not like Three star, stay experience is just like normal lodge....

When we first arrived at this hotel we viewed a couple of rooms as they were not great. I spent ages trying to work out my review for this hotel as the fact that it is a bit run down in places with broken things in the rooms is more than made up for by the staff who could not be more helpful. They more than made up for any short comings in the hotel itself.

Tourist Information

Weather

You'll never need winter-warmers in Goa - even at New Year the temperatures here are well above 20° Celsius, soaring to 35° Celsius in mid-May. Sunscreen, anyone?

The best time to go on holidays to Candolim is from September until May - Goa is more or less out of bounds during it's monsoon season in the summer, but apart from that there's practically never any rain either!
