Once we'd got over the fact that we were one of the last quite late at night drop-offs as it was so far away from the airport, we arrived to be met with a "doggy bag" upon check-in. Suffice to say the "doggy bag" was indeed fit for said animal and not for human consumption - not a great start! From there on in, our stay and the holiday got better and better. Whilst the apartments were basic (it is Greece!), they were clean and spacious and on the one occasion that our flusher stopped working, it was fixed very quickly after a chat with reception. The food - superb! We all ate like Kings and Queens for the week of our stay, preferring to be there early at each sitting, we thoroughly enjoyed the variety, quality and mix of traditional Greek dishes combined with more European plates. The kids were in their element (12 and 9) sampling the different dishes and abundance of fruit. We aren't the type of family to get up at 6am and go and bag a sun lounger but after day 2 we'd realised that this indeed was the only way to secure a static umbrella spot to try and protect against the 37 degree midday heat. There are 2 main pools with other smaller ones for very small people. We spent all our time at the waterpark one which was brilliant - the lifeguards are outstanding and they are simply one of the stand-out highlights of this hotel. They get to know every child by name and their parents and they remember everyone and they aren't just there for effect, they genuinely look out for and care about everyone's safety. I can be a paranoid parent when it comes to the kids but these guys allowed me to relaxed more than I'd anticipated. One a side note, the other pool allegedly had a wave machine...yet to see it in action. We hired the football and tennis rackets and played on a couple of evenings which was fun. We purposely stayed away from the evening entertainment as that's not our thing but it didn't look amazing to be fair. There are a number of firms in the hotel foyer that you can book excursions and car hire with - we chose Kosmos to book a convertible with and toured the Island for a day (that's all you really need!) choosing to head into the town and up into the hills. Overall, if we ever went back to Kos for a family sun holiday, we'd definitely stay here again.

The whole of the resort is a massive water park. Brilliant for children and families. Kids will be happy here all day and there's entertainment in the events too for them. So ideal for families. It is isolated with nothing around but a bus runs every hour into Kosovo town so very convenient. There's also a shop in the resort. Food was plentiful too. Friendly staff and very helpful.

The hotel is basic was rather bemussed by the star rating of 4 in my view its a 3 star maximum. Plus side mini kids club (Magda) was brilliant. Swimming pool and slids apart from it was freezing. Night entertainment was okay but nothing special. Con's. Beds were uncorftable asked for a matress topper which helped. Food was repataive and didn't suit the English people went out to eat 2 times due to the fact.

If you like these types of holidays then there is plenty for the kids to do. Staff are very helpful and pleasant. The food was good but quite often repeated. The menu wasn't really for an english palate. Due to the slight rain evening entertainment was cancelled a few times. The entertainment team and bar staff were relentless is trying to help and keep people happy. They did an outstanding job. The rooms were below average. I expected 4* uk style and didn't come close. But we're clean and functional. The excursions although good, were over priced. And if your going to hire a car do it before you arrive. €40 per day from the hotel. €92 for the week from the airport. You can get a bus from the end of the road. One each hour. Tickets are cheaper from reception. The staff made the holiday. Not so much the hotel. Well done!
