We got a double bedroom on the ground floor. The room was very specious, and very clean – the made came every day to clean up. It has TV (most of the channels in German) and DVD player, fridge freezer, aircon. We had two nice balconies near the grass and it was very nice to sit and read there. The grounds were also very beautiful and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and welcoming; service was very good from the check in to the restaurants and the spa. The pools are great and total fun – there are three pools – the kids' pool is very big and has 5 cool slides, my older kids (8, 10) really enjoyed it and so do we. It also has many more slides and sprinklers for younger kids – which my 4 years old really enjoyed. The wave pool is also great and very big so you don't feel the crowd. The waves are every hour. The adults' pool is a quiet pool where kids are not allowed. Not enough shade around the pools and beds need to be taken very early in the morning, before breakfast if you want to have a nice spot. There is also a nice beach right next to the pool although not sandy Food was very good. The BBQ in the pool area is open 12-17 every day and is very good! Soft drinks and alcoholic drinks are served free all day at the pool bar, and also ice-cream which the kids really liked. There are two additional special restaurants – Italian and A La Carte - we booked one evening for the Italian restaurant but it was very disappointing!!! The hotel is located 10 min from the town Kos by taxi (12 Euros). It's nice and has a lot of restaurants and souvenir shops in it. WiFi was very poor! Total experience – fantastic, we had the best times!

This review is going to be pretty long winded but i will state all the good and bad. GOOD. Our room was lovely with 2 bedrooms ,tv and dvd player, there was also a fridge freezer which was very handy , the aircon in the rooms was lovely and cool all remotely controlled and was a godsend. Rooms were spotless.maid service came everyday and was fantastic. The pools were great (for kids) my kids are 10 and 12 and loved them.. theres slides ...wave pool...and an adults only pool (which we never used). The grounds were beautiful very well maintained. .too well sometimes with muddy puddles on the grass due to being mowed too short and over zealous spinklers..lol. THE BAR STAFF ARE FANTASTIC WITH SPECIAL MENTION GOES OUT TO PANOS..ANNA...AND DAVID AT THE POOL BAR..these guys work their socks off and are lovely people nothing is too much trouble...also ELLE in the lobby bar...great sense of humour and very hard worker. IQBAL the life guard was great with the kids...he knew every kid by name and they loved him (although he loved the sound of his whistle and mega phone a little too much)..lol the beds were huge and really comfortable. THE ANIMATION TEAM worked tirelessly from morning til night but were a little inexperienced (later found out this is their first season)...but they were always smiling and willing to help. THE BBQ at the poolside was very nice..the kids loved it. There are tennis courts..football field...basketball court...table tennis...go karts (4 euro for 3 mins per cart). There is scooter ,bicycle, and dune buggy hire at the hotel...we didnt use them as there is a bus stop less than 5 mins walk from hotel that is cheap to travel (1.5 euro per person to travel to kos town) buses are 10 past the hour to kos and every hour on the hour returning . .............. BAD POINTS The food was pretty poor...considering this hotel is aimed at families there is very little for kids to eat...unless they live on deserts which were plentiful. There was always a wait for plates ..sometimes no tables available. ..and resembled feeding time at the zoo a lot of the time with no system. Drinks machines in restaurant didnt work properly the whole 2 weeks we were there. We used the bbq at the pool most afternoons because it was better than the restaurant sadly. The bars are massively understaffed with constant queues..sometimes waiting 20 mins for a drink..but the barstaff as mentioned above work their socks off... The evening entertainment was embarrassing to be honest...cheap and nasty...and laid out like a cinema.... The hotel is pretty secluded with little or no beach. Getting loungers at the poolside was a real chore .....we were having to get up at 5am just to secure a shaded area which are few and far between...and even then we missed out..not enough parasols, kids need shade. If you book this hotel make sure you get a 2nd floor room as a lot of people on the ground floor had problems with cockroaches. There are cats wandering around the restaurant area (on the balcony) which i didnt like. THE MAJOR BAD POINT FOR me was while we were there a german woman was face down unconscious in the wave pool....the life guard was clueless...not a very good swimmer..3 men ended up pulling her out...while out the lifeguard tried performing CPR which he obviously had never done before...a good friend of ours who is a nurse had to push him out of the way and literally save her life...there was no emergency stop on the wave pool..and the staff were clueless just standing around shrugging their shoulders...the so called hotel doctor turned up..e.with a stethoscope and a blood pressure machine THE WOMAN WAS UNCONSCIOUS AND NOT BREATHING...we had to scream at him to call an ambulance. ..which then took 25 mins...no one seemed bothered...anyone whos done basic CPR knows 25 mins is crazy...the hotel didnt even have an oxygen mask ...and the management didnt even say thank you for saving her. THIS IS AN HONEST REVIEW AND I MUST SAY WE DID HAVE A LOVELY HOLIDAY...but i honestly wouldnt rate the hotel a 4 star...its a good 3 star.
