We just came back from Kavos, stayed in san marina hotel, but on internet they sell it as Island beach resort -that hotel is near by, but it is not opened yet)) staff was not so helpful, we have had to pay extra for air con and tv box, the breakfast was cold all the time, no matter when you come. Some staff like our waiter and a girl who takes care about chairs were very nice, but the rest are not!!! beds were old and uncomfortable, funny smell in the room and bathroom, they did change towels just once, im not sure if they changed our bedsheets. if you want to extend your stay for a few hours you have to pay I think 50 euro more, otherwise you have to stay in the lobby or by the beach. I'm not recommending to stay in this hotel. We would never choose it again, They just want your money. But the most awful thing is that they sell 4* rooms in internet in another place (island beach resort) and you have to live in san marina! horrible!!

Me and my friend came to kavos for a clubing/relaxing time away. We choice this hotel as it was 5 min from the strip but far enough away to have some peace. When we arrived it was 6am and we asked if we could book in as we had requested for a early book in. We was told the hotel was fully booked and we would have to wait untill 2pm! Great start! We even offered to pay as we could see that the hotel wasn't busy taking into consider that it was end of aug. We slept on the sofas on the lounge and was kept getting moaned at. Once we got our room it was clean and bright. Swimming pool was small but not many people used it so there was always somewhere to lay! The beach outside was grotty but it is kovas do you can't really complain. 100% recommend getting air com we got eaten alive by bugs! We didn't want to pay for it but that was one mistake we got bug killer even put the plugs in the wall and the room was still filled with them! Plus the ones that died was all over our bed! The staff are rude and on twice our money got taken from our room by the cleaner. First time we pass it off as us spending it but the second time it happen it was pretty clear someone had taken it €120 in total and we was hiding our money under the fridge! We spoke to the hotel and said we didn't want our rooms cleaned any more which kicked off into a big argument and they wanted to kick us out! Try telling us we was drunk and spent the money when we had only gone out for dinner and didn't go out to the clubs that night! All we wanted was them to not go into our rooms anymore! The rest of the holiday they wouldn't even look at us and kept talking about us in Greek! No1 told us about our pick up to fly back so we had to chase it as we didn't have a rep at the hotel only to find that he had left us message after message on the front for them to get us to ring him to book our transfer in. Was glade to go home! Hotel it self was good and very clean down stairs! Don't bother getting breckfast it's not worth getting out of bed for! The strip is 5 mins away and l

stayed here with my boyfriend in August 2014 - we are both in early 30-ies. enjoyed it, as it was in a very good location, close to the central strip in Kavos (2 min walk round the corner) and yet away from all the noise. also, the hotel is located right on the beach, which was important for us. it also had a big pool which was cleaned daily, by a very friendly hostess, who was also running a poolside bar offering meals and drinks. the hotel room décor was a bit outdated, but very clean and hotel is good value for money. room had a fridge, which was handy. there were families and young couples alike staying there. ladies at the central reception were very friendly.
