After booking Kavos for 11 days, me and my group were really looking forward to our holiday - however, we then read the reviews of the hotel and were dreading it! When we arrived we were amazed at the negative reviews, as the hotel was brilliant! The location of the hotel is perfect, it's located at the end of the strip which means you don't have to walk for ages to get there (and back on a night), but it's just far enough to be able to sleep without all the noise! The rooms were very basic, but this was expected with the price as you get what you pay for - we booked the bed and breakfast board basis and this is probably the only thing about the hotel we'd have changed! The reason for this is that we didn't receive any breakfast for our entire stay, when we asked we were told to go to the strip and we'd find a nice breakfast on there (but this wasn't exactly the best thing considering we had paid for bed and breakfast!) - Due to us booking B&B our room had only two beds, a vanity unita and a fridge (all in the same room), however we did have 2 balconies! The bathroom was small and no shower curtain, so was more like a wet room - there was a feature in the wall (high up) which is constantly open instead of having a window (this is the case for all rooms). The pool area was very clean, decent sized pool and also has it's own beach - there was no shortage of sunbeds either (and this was the height of the season), there are plenty to accommodate all guests and more! There's watersports literally on the Lemon Grove's section of the beach - we didn't try any out, but others seemed to really be enjoying it! The hotel serves no food what so ever, only drink - so be sure to take extra money for food! There was no wifi in the hotel and reception is only open when they are expecting arrivals or departures - but there's a small building constantly manned called 'exchange' which acts as reception. The staff are all very friendly and will do anything for you. Would recommend this hotel if you're looking for a party holiday, close to everything Kavos has to offer!

Provides the basics that you need in somewhere to stay, a bed, wardrobe, shower, toilet and sink and a portable hob, not much else but it is enough to get by. On arrival we were told we had to pay an extra 30 euros each if we wanted air con and a safe which you would have thought would be included in the price you have already paid on booking. Any way once we paid for our air con and safe the air con did not work so we wasted our money and trying to get someone to fix it proved difficult as the owner was rarely there to get a hold of him to get him to fix it. Cleaners came every 3 days and each time only gave us 2 rolls of toilet paper to last three guys three days so we would often find our toilet roll supplies empty and have to borrow from our friends in the other rooms as there you couldnt get from anywhere but the cleaners! However the pool area could not be faulted, plenty of sunbeds a good sized swimming pool right on the beach front with a spectacular view!

Having booked up quite late (probably about 2 months before we wanted to go) we definitely thought we'd settled for "it'll do" rather than anything spectacular or particularly pleasing. However, we were very surprised! We were promptly checked in to the hotel, even though we arrived an hour after reception closed, and shown to a pretty decent room with the basics, all in good condition and all enough for the holiday we wanted. Hotel was right at the start of the strip, surrounded by restaurants, bars and clubs and although has a pool is actually right on the beach too, which was a big bonus as on previous holidays I've had issues finding the beach from a hotel! Although it is definitely a hotel for people wanting to make the most of the bars and clubs, it was actually quite a peaceful and quiet hotel during the day, well run with staff who cared about the hotel and wanted it to be a good experience for all! The pool and surrounding areas were also lovely and clean and you could tell a lot of effort has gone into the presentation of these areas, and there was never any competition for sun loungers or pool space which was a big bonus! Do not have one complaint about it and thought it was a gem to have found! Very impressed!
