I went there last year and stayed at the Lemon Grove Hotel, stay clear the air con didn't work all week, the toilet Seat came off and they didn't fix it, the sink never had water, the shower had no holder so you had to wash with one hand the water was on and off at one point I was washing my hair and half way through the water stopped and I had to use a bottle of water to finish it. The bins never got emptied until the day we were leaving. There was no security at night, at 4:00-5:00 in the morning people were banging on the door and shooting messing around. Never go again the only best thing about that place was the pool.

Came to stay here July 2014 for a girls holiday and came home satisfied with our choice. We arrived late afternoon and were greeted by two quite quiet woman who were the owners, general proceedings were completed quickly, room keys were given and information about events etc was handed out to us, this hotel actually gives good deals for things like the paint party, the full moon party and the boat party, we paid at least 16 euro less than other people with 'reps' had to pay, however we were told there would be free food at the boat party and no drinks more than 2 euro, drinks were all around 5 euro and no free food- but annoying. The rooms were standard, single beds slightly uncomfortable, and a small bathroom and kitchen, the fridge was working though despite reviews, however the shower had no curtain or any form of privacy, and there was nothing to put the shower head on, therefore every time i showered i had to hold the shower head over myself, or get a friend to help, it also came with no bath mat or separation from the rest of the bathroom floor, so it practically flooded the bathroom! still, didn't ruin the holiday for me at all. The pool is fairly clean and a really nice temperature- i was in there every few minutes. Lots of space to sunbathe and it's RIGHT on the beach which is wonderful. There was no music though which was a downfall however could easily hear music from the hotel next door so wasn't something to excessively moan about. Only thing i wasn't very pleased with was getting charged for silly things such as tiny splats of paint or dirt on the bed sheets, which are supposed to be cleaned regularly anyway, the cleaners only cleaned our room once every other day or every few days so i found it unfair we were charged for something that hotels normally deal with themselves, and it doesn't say anything about things like that on the website or when we arrived. We were also persuaded at the beginning of the holiday to pay in advance to use the sunbeds, the safe in the bedroom, and have air conditioning all week. We got it for 30 each, however there was no system proving who had paid for the sunbeds and who hadn't, the air conditioner came on whether you had paid or not, and 30 each seemed really rather expensive once we had figured all of this out, so we felt they were simply just trying to take our money. The location is one of the best parts of this hotel, its on the strip, however its right on the end of the strip so if you want to go back to the hotel earlier, there is no noise whatsoever, the strip is right on the driveway and is also right opposite a lovely local restaurant 'Big Max's' it does full english breakfast for 2.50 until 3pm and me and my friends ended up going for dinner practically every night because we were given an offer of any starter, any main and any 2 drinks (cocktails, spirits, soft drinks or water, anything!) all for 9.50! so it was ideal for a cheap girls holiday! would definitely recommend this hotel, just look out for being unfairly charged and if there is anything wrong with the room you must report is straight away otherwise they may think you did it. If you are coming for a quiet, romantic or family holiday- don't come here, definitely made for girls and lads party holidays.

RELAXING HOTEL/POOL, on the BEACH, NIGHTLIFE 5mins walk. QUIETER AREA then most others so GREAT to RELAX! ENTHUSIASTIC & INVOLVING ESCAPADES REP! HOTEL pro’s: LEMON GROVE STUDIOS is in a great location, right on the BEACH & NIGHTLIFE is just at the top of the MAIN RD, there are many Bars / Restaurants / NightClubs / Shops. The hotel is a good mix of comfortable rooms, lovely Pool area and practicality, and near to Nightlife to enjoy, but not in the middle of it, so you can sleep on nights! HOTEL con’s: Road entrance at initial glance looks uninviting compared to grander welcomes! No Hall/Lobby area or shared showers just an outside shaded Patio area, instead of a room area, but how much TV do you want to watch! Food is NOT served at all from restaurant, just a drinks vending machine, but the shops, restaurants & takeaways are all just a few minutes walk away. No WIFI but just ask at a bar or restaurant when ordering your drinks/meal for Tday’s WIFI code! Some rooms are better then others, 1st floor balconies have a better view of the Beach! ESCAPADES: The holiday is very much a lively Beach Resort, and the Hotel is an ESCAPADES 18-30’s, the girl rep SOPHIE is very friendly, enthusiastic, very involving, day pool parties & night bar crawls, all good fun! NIGHTCLUBS: Only a few NIGHTCLUBS on Main Strip: FUTURE, ATLANTIS, SANDSTORM / BAMBOO, VENUE & SEX CLUB the foam party venue. There are many gd BARS some with dance floors, BUZZ, SNOBS, ROLLING STONE, 42nd STREET, ROCKYS, THE ROCK & THE BARN. Most have resident DJs or on occasion big DJ with an entrance fee normally not much about €20! There are many bars but none are busy before midnight, see what’s happening after midnight till about 4am is busiest, what music you like the most, or a crowd that’s your style! KAVOS: On the beach, a nice walk next to beach bars, water sports inc JetSkis or lounge on the beach next to busy beach Bars some with popular pool bars such as QuaySide/CafeDelMar, Traboukos Hotel, Kouroyiannos Swimming Pool bar, Cavo D’oro, BamBoo and others not on the beach worth seeing, The Barn Pool, Morfeas Pool, Ekati, Olympian Village, Olive Gr, Chandris, Kavos Plaza & Lefkimmi Hotel confusingly on Kavos Main Strip! Confusing because Lefkimmi is a neighbouring much quieter village, and this hotel Lefkimmi is in the middle of it Every Night! So you wouldn’t be board, but you won’t be up for a sausage sandwich in the morning am! DAYS OUT: KAVOS BOOZE CRUISE inc BEACH BBQ & DANCE PARTY on BOAT lots of fun! FOOD: Many Greek restaurants, but the best part of my night, takeaways! 4WAYS DINING is ace, massive MEAT FEAST pizza slice 3 EUROS or Gyros kebab with chilli sauce! HOTEL extras: Air Con, Safe, Room for Extra Day/Night.

I stayed In Lemon grove with another of my friends in summer 2014. When booking somewhere in Kavos, you can't have your expectations too high, when I arrived at 5am after a long flight and coach journey, truthfully I was less than impressed. I just wanted to get my head down ready to party the following day. When I woke up I was still getting familiar with my surroundings, basically the place was a crap hole, but its exactly what you pay for and I would go back simply because it has everything close by. The only thing that I really was annoyed about is I put my foot through the drainage outside, and due to very poor maintenance plastic broke off and tore my Achilles tendon, in which i ended up in surgery abroad, however when I was injured staff were very helpful as I was in a wheelchair for the remainder of my holiday. The week I had in Kavos was amazing (Hard to believe) I met some AMAZING people, and will 100% be returning next year, maybe to a different hotel but nevertheless I had an awesome time, you can get away with things more in Lemon Grove than other hotels, the bigger hotels such as trabukos were a hell of a lot better however people were getting fined left right and centre for things such as bringing people back to your room (no matter how innocent) and noise, however lemon grove was very relaxed with such things, that's why its perfect for a Lads Holiday. The two owners of the hotel dont speak which made it kind of awkward and there is no music around the pool, or pool bar due to this. All in all if your looking for a CHEAP alcohol filled disgustingly crazy holiday (which I was) then this is the perfect place for you!
