Corfu Hotels

Corfu Hotels

We know that no two holidays are alike, and that what might work for you and your partner might not work for you and your mates. So, with this in mind, we’ve put together a comprehensive guide of where to stay in Corfu that will match any group’s needs.

As the largest of Greece’s Ionian Islands, Corfu is certainly not lacking in places to enjoy a holiday in the sun. From lively Kavos to the picturesque Paleokastritsa, there’s a place for everyone on this beautiful island.

Beaches

Boasting more sandy seafronts than you can visit in one holiday, the beaches of Corfu are the stuff of Greek legends. Check out the aptly named Paradise Beach in Liapades, the family favourite Bataria Beach in Kassiopi, or the tranquil shores of Rovinia Beach in Paleokastritsa.

Culture

Steeped in history straight out of mythology books, Corfu has a long and rich past bursting with culture. With influences from Ancient Greece, Roman and Turkish settlers, and modern-day modern day expats looking to enjoy their twilight years in the sun, Corfu’s culture is all about taking life in the slow lane and enjoying what’s around you.

Food & Drink

You’ll never be far away from a delicious bite to eat at one of the many local tavernas and restaurants that you’ll find all over the island. Try a bit of sofrito (meat, usually veal or beef, slow cooked to perfection with intense flavours of garlic and vinegar), pastitsada (casseroled meat and macaroni served in a delicious red source), bourdeto (a spicy fish and tomato dish), or take it easy with a mezedes selections (platters of finger foods traditionally served with ouzo).

Nightlife

If you’re looking to spend your nights on the tiles, there’s plenty of trendy bars and nightclubs located in the legendary resort of Kavos, or for a more laid-back experience you can sip cocktails on the beachfront in Roda and Agios Georgios while the waves roll by.
