Not to brag, but Valamar Bellevue Hotel & Residence has four pools, so there's always a place to drunk into (or sunbathe with a cocktail in hand). That's right - no one-pool wonders here, thank you. And if you fancy hitting the beach, which - let's be honest, you probably do, it's right on your doorstep! It might be a bit pebbly, but it's built into the cliffside with tiered sunbathing decks and some proper Insta-worthy views. Coastal location, activities for the kids, Mediterranean-style pizza to die for - this place just keeps on giving.

Rooms

• The hotel offers Classic Rooms, Superior Rooms and Family Rooms, so you can choose a room type that suits you

• Family Rooms come with two extra sofa beds which are sectioned off by sliding doors - cosy lounge by day, bedroom for the kids by night

• Some room types come with a swim-up feature, so you can literally be out of bed and in the pool in a matter of seconds

• Standard amenities in each room include:

Food & Drink

• Mediterraneo - all-inclusive buffet restaurant with show-cooking stations, themed nights and loads of local food - from honeys and jams at breakfast to pizza at night topped with proper Istrian tomato sauce

• Oliva Grill - this one's not part of the all-inclusive concept, but if you fancy some tasty grilled food right along the coast, it's well-worth booking a table

• Taverna - traditional Croatian food served in an equally traditional setting

• Lobby bar - soft and alcoholic drinks served from early morning until late at night

• Splash pool bar (by the activity pool) - stay cool with loads of refreshing drinks on offer, right near the action

• Wine bar - premium wine served by the glass - 'nough said

• Activity pool - what it says on the tin, this pool is the one where the action happens, with waterslides and aqua aerobics sessions to take part in

• Family pool - a large pool for the whole fam to enjoy

• Albona relax pool - perfect for chilling out, filled with seawater and surrounded by sun loungers so you can sunbathe with a sea view

• Kids' splash pool and baby pool - somewhere for the little ones to have a paddle

• Mini and Maxi kids' clubs - there's a soft-play room, a games lounge (decked out with Xbox consoles and Nintendo Switches), a garden, and organised activities to keep the kids aged 3-12 entertained

• Multipurpose sports courts - so you can try your hand (or foot) at football, basketball, tennis or volleyball
