Overview
The complex is situated on a hill in the south of Tenerife offering some of the best views of Playa de las Americas, Costa Adeje, La Gomera and the Atlantic Ocean. There are various bars and restaurants close to the beach and if you don’t want to walk then we have a courtesy bus which takes our guests to the Torviscas beach and the San Eugenio shopping centre. Athough the Lagunas Park is classed as Las Americas its very close to the border of Costa Adeje meaning you have the benefit of 2 great resorts on your doorstep .

On the Beach view the Laguna Park 2 as a fantastic "cheap and cheerful" hotel for those groups, couples and families looking for a lively holiday.

How far is the nearest beach?

La Rotonda - Buffet restaurant La Rotonda offers a fantastic range of hot dishes, salads, desserts, breakfasts, and an excellent wine list. It also affords diners beautiful views of the ocean and La Gomera Island.

El Rincon - For delicious dinner in a great atmosphere, look no further than El Rincon. International cuisine, special menus, children's dishes, grills, desserts, and a fabulous wine list, as well as a twice weekly barbeque, are complemented by nightly live entertainment and international performances.

Sports & Entertainment
One of Laguna Park II's best features is its enormous swimming pool area which has a children's section' completed with extensive sun terraces and sun beds. A programme of daytime activities and evening entertainment is organised by the resort's entertainers. There is also a Children's Playground, Disco, Games Area, Mini Golf, Multi-sport court, Pool Table, Children's swimming pool, Outdoor swimming pool, Table tennis, Tennis courts, Badminton.

We travelled as a group of 9 ladies as a birthday celebration. We had 4 rooms all in row I over looking the pool with big sunny balconies and stayed All Inclusive for a week. The rooms were basic and a bit dated but very clean and beds were comfy - what more can you ask for! The pool area was also clean and plenty of sunbeds - they also gave out mats for the beds about 9.30 - there were only about 20 of these and its a first come basis but we always managed to get some. The pool bar served snacks and drinks and the staff were great. We couldnt fault the food. Yes there wasnt a huge choice but it wasnt that busy when we were there so couldnt expect an abundance of food. Every dish that we tasted was lovely and the salads in particular were great. The only thing they could improve on was tea/coffee for after lunch and dinner - the machines are only on at breakfast. The location of the hotel is on a hill - which is stated when booking. The actuall hotel runs from reception at the top and entertainment/bar the next level down then rooms in rows then restaurant then stairs down to pool and pool bar. We were luckily on level with the restaurant so didnt have far to go for meals and to the pool. The resort is also down a very steep hill but there is a courtesy bus to the beach and back and lots of taxis. The entertainment at night isnt great - although they did their best and like I say it was very quiet when we were there. The AI finished at 10.30 which we felt was too early - even another half hour would keep people there longer. All in all we all enjoyed our stay and even managed to come back with toned calves with all the hill walking! This hotel isnt suitable for anyone not fit enough to climb stairs and hills but perfect for those who are and want a cheap break in the sun.

This is a hotel from the 70's or 80's in need of refurbishment. It is clean but tatty. Our room had a door which had been damaged. Both sliding patio doors had locks that barely worked. The toilet seat was cracked. The tiles on the floors were chipped and damaged in places. The beds were extremely uncomfortable for someone like me who likes sleeping on their side. The lighting was stark... ect ect... That said it was a clean room and the maids came round 3 or 4 times a week to clean, drop off towels and make the beds. We were all inclusive but regretted it. The food is OK, but certainly nothing special or anything to look forward too. The pork, beef and fish were consistently over cooked and dry. The sausages in the morning were cheap, I dread to think what was in them. All in all, it was OKish but I wished we'd saved the money and gone to more restaurants. The worst thing for me was the location up the hill. After a long day in the sun when you're tired, the last thing you want to do is hike up a hill, and thats what it felt like. We did use taxis as much as possible, but some thats a drag too. There is a free bus to the centre and back, so I'd recommend using this if you plan to head to the beach of strip during the day. In the evening you're on your own or reliant on taxis. If the Laguna Park 2 is all you can afford, you'll be alright here. But if you have the money I would strongly recommend checking out the other hotels and complexes.
