The complex is situated on a hill in the south of Tenerife offering some of the best views of Playa de las Americas, Costa Adeje, La Gomera and the Atlantic Ocean. There are various bars and restaurants close to the beach and if you don’t want to walk then we have a courtesy bus which takes our guests to the Torviscas beach and the San Eugenio shopping centre. Athough the Lagunas Park is classed as Las Americas its very close to the border of Costa Adeje meaning you have the benefit of 2 great resorts on your doorstep .
On the Beach view the Laguna Park 2 as a fantastic "cheap and cheerful" hotel for those groups, couples and families looking for a lively holiday.

The cockroach spray under the sink came in useful to spray the door thresholds every night. However, we then had to keep the patio door open most of the night to get rid of the aerosol fumes. If not for that, then for the fact that the rooms had no air con so it was uncomfortably warm. Back to the roaches, luckily we only saw 1 per night in the room, generally dead by the time we got in, following the spray we'd used earlier prior to us going out for the evening. But we did have pleasure of a HUGE flying cockroach on our last evening, alive and kicking, was so big I thought it was going to grab the spray and spray me!!! Thank god it was the last night as we'd had enough of them by that point. The hotel was up a steep hill, ok for couples/groups under 40, but elderly, infirm, or families with kids in pushchairs would struggle a bit. Shops, bars and restaurants only 5 minute walk at the bottom of the hill. The hotel would really benefit from another entrance at the bottom of the park. The dark haired lady on reception was a little rude and abrupt, but all other staff were fine. There was no WIFI and this had already been off for 3 weeks apparently due to an issue with the line that numerous engineers had been unable to fix. The pool area was pleasant, we didn't use the hotel bar or restaurant as we opted to go out to eat. Next time I will pay more for a hotel with aircon. It worked out around only £15 a night though, so I guess you get what you pay for.

I stayed here with my dad for a week and have been here for a second time. We usually get a cheap deal here and cannot complain with anything really! Rooms are standard self catering apartment style it's quite nice that they are all located outside as if you have your own apartment, I found the pool was really nice size wise and very clean. Also great sun spot and nice little poolside bar available. Only downside is that the hotel is located on a steep hill but still very near ships and facilities, did find one cockroach in room aswell but this is expected in an outdoors area. We had breakfast everyday here and loved it such lovely views of the mountain. Bring lots of food for the stray cats too!

I have read quite a few bad reviews of this place but honestly, I was completely happy with my stay here and don't think you can expect too much more for the price you pay. When we arrived, there was a problem with one of the studios as it hadn't been assigned but this was resolved and my friends were upgraded to a better room , free of charge. We had initially paid for half board but we chose to upgrade to all inclusive for 12 euros per day as it ended up being a better deal. The breakfast was very good, offering everything you could want with hot food. For us, the dinner and lunch were also decent, not amazing food but good enough for what we needed. Note that if you have half board, you will have to pay for the drinks at dinner which isn't ideal. The studio we had was good, clean and spacious with kitchen facilities however, the lack of air conditioning can be a slight problem although, it isn't too hot at night. The hotel is on a hill and going up it is a bit of effort but isn't too bad if you're prepared for it and there are various lifts. The pool area is very good, a very large pool with lots of sun loungers and a pool bar. There are also various activities which take place during the day. The evening entertainment is pretty basic but fun. The animal show is particularly good. It is very cheap to take taxis everywhere and I would recommend it, especially for going out at night or returning to the hotel. Overall, this wouldn't be my first choice of hotel but it was satisfactory for our needs.

Stayed here 14 years ago with my children and had the time of our lives and fell in love with Tenerife from this point on that I been coming here 2 maybe 3 times ayear since in different hotels. Then.... returned to this hotel for new year and OMG its a total dump!!. The rooms have never been modenised since! You have to pay weekly for your t.v. The rooms are so dirty I spent ther 1st 2 hours of my holiday bleaching the blood stains from the walls. The cooker hob did not work. The dishes where filthy. I did not bother to complain as I had already been to receptionist twice ( who is very rude to begin with) I just carried on cleaning to a standard I could spend the next 14 days in a bit of cleanliness. I took my own top sheets and pillow cases which I am so glad I did as normaly I don't use them but was a must on this occasion!! I would never ever go back this hotel if it was for free. I cannot comm, ent on the food as we where s/c but what the people where saying it was rubbish repetative and cold! The pool was colder than I remember and realised why there was nobody in it when it was such a lovely roasting hot day. A child jumped in the screamed turned a shade of blue and quickly jumped out (says it all really) The entertainment was a bit naff but we only popped our heads in on returning home from a good night out and there was a handfull of sullen looking people sitting in the huge room. Sorry but I cannot say a good thing about this hotel as it is total rubbish and I would advise anybody not waste your money as if the hill climb don't kill you (which I knew and it didn't bother me to be honest) the grubby dirty filthy rooms will!! The t.v's are awfull ( not that you go on holiday to watch t.v. but?) you have to go to the rude receptionist (whome is dealing with numerous v
