Overview
The complex is situated on a hill in the south of Tenerife offering some of the best views of Playa de las Americas, Costa Adeje, La Gomera and the Atlantic Ocean. There are various bars and restaurants close to the beach and if you don’t want to walk then we have a courtesy bus which takes our guests to the Torviscas beach and the San Eugenio shopping centre. Athough the Lagunas Park is classed as Las Americas its very close to the border of Costa Adeje meaning you have the benefit of 2 great resorts on your doorstep .

On the Beach view the Laguna Park 2 as a fantastic "cheap and cheerful" hotel for those groups, couples and families looking for a lively holiday.

This is a hotel from the 70's or 80's in need of refurbishment. It is clean but tatty. Our room had a door which had been damaged. Both sliding patio doors had locks that barely worked. The toilet seat was cracked. The tiles on the floors were chipped and damaged in places. The beds were extremely uncomfortable for someone like me who likes sleeping on their side. The lighting was stark... ect ect... That said it was a clean room and the maids came round 3 or 4 times a week to clean, drop off towels and make the beds. We were all inclusive but regretted it. The food is OK, but certainly nothing special or anything to look forward too. The pork, beef and fish were consistently over cooked and dry. The sausages in the morning were cheap, I dread to think what was in them. All in all, it was OKish but I wished we'd saved the money and gone to more restaurants. The worst thing for me was the location up the hill. After a long day in the sun when you're tired, the last thing you want to do is hike up a hill, and thats what it felt like. We did use taxis as much as possible, but some thats a drag too. There is a free bus to the centre and back, so I'd recommend using this if you plan to head to the beach of strip during the day. In the evening you're on your own or reliant on taxis. If the Laguna Park 2 is all you can afford, you'll be alright here. But if you have the money I would strongly recommend checking out the other hotels and complexes.

Stayed at laguna park 2 from 6th till 13th April and what can I say but we had a really great holiday here. After reading all the negative reviews I was apprehensive about staying here but we were very pleasantly surprised. The greeting from reception was friendly and we were really impressed by the great views as we headed down to our room. Yes, the rooms are fairly basic but everything was in good order and it was spotlessly clean. We stayed all inclusive and we thought the food quality was better than a lot we have stayed in previously. There was a good selection at breakfast, everything you'd expect really, the pastries were lovely. Lunch and evening meal were pretty similar, they had a couple of themed nights, Mexican, Chinese etc, which were lovely. The meat quality was good, there was something for everyone. The staff In the restaurant were friendly too. I was expecting the wine in there to be awful but that was really good too. The views from the restaurant are fabulous. I liked that they served breakfast till half 10 as well as it allowed us more time to sleep off our hangovers! The pool area is huge! Really spacious with loads of loungers and a great pool bar with friendly staff again, I would suggest maybe some more varied music though, Enrique just isn't my bag lol! Again it's all really clean, borderline clinical in fact! We enjoyed the entertainment, the guys worked really hard, especially the one that said woo hoo! after everything, didn't get his name lol. The kids all enjoyed the mini disco and they had some good shows on, the magic show was really professional, almost too good for a hotel show, we were really impressed. The guys behind the bar were great too and showed absolutely no preference to anyone regardless of who was on all inclusive or not. The supermarket was really cheap as well. All in all I had a really great holiday and would go back in an instant. I liked the fact that the hotel was built on a hill because it made the views of the bay so fab and I thought it added to the hotels quirkiness. Yes the hills are steep but it's good to work off all that good food and beer!! The staff all work hard to keep everyone happy, keep up the good work guys, and thanks for a brill holiday!

You get what you pay for, we read the reviews prior to going and I was a bit worried, but we were there for 10 night and cannot fault the place any problem was sorted in about 15 minutes, our wee boy was really sick and the maids were there in about 10 mins and stripped and made the beds clean towels and mopped the place. People moan about the hill me too but it's not the horels fault lol, would go back if wanted a cheap break

After reading all the reviews I was very sceptical on arriving but don't understands why all the negative comments, stayed for a week and had a lovely time.the only thing I would suggest is if have the option to hire at car do it because it is on the top of a very steep hill but there are plenty of taxis available.staff are very friendly and helpful .apartments are spacious and cleaned every other day.pool areas are clean and bar staff very friendly, supermarket has all your essentials and a fair price, enjoy your hols and stop nitpicking over trivial things
