Overview
The complex is situated on a hill in the south of Tenerife offering some of the best views of Playa de las Americas, Costa Adeje, La Gomera and the Atlantic Ocean. There are various bars and restaurants close to the beach and if you don’t want to walk then we have a courtesy bus which takes our guests to the Torviscas beach and the San Eugenio shopping centre. Athough the Lagunas Park is classed as Las Americas its very close to the border of Costa Adeje meaning you have the benefit of 2 great resorts on your doorstep .

On the Beach view the Laguna Park 2 as a fantastic "cheap and cheerful" hotel for those groups, couples and families looking for a lively holiday.

Cheap and cheerful

23 February 2015

Stayed at Laguna Park 2 for a week all inclusive with my husband and step son. I was dreading my stay after reading previous reviews however was very pleasantly surprised and relieved. Room: Basic...

Booked 7 nights away mixed weather. Short shuttle from the airport 30 minutes. The complex is reached up a hill, booked in at reception and were shown to our 1 bed apartment down the lower end of the site. Took two lift rides and some steps to get there. Not suitable for persons with mobility issues as a steep walkway from reception to restaurant and the swimming pool. The apartment was spacious, quiet and very clean with balcony. The pool looked clean although we did not venture in, weather not hot. Apartment cleaned and changed bed sheets and towels 3 times during our visit. No kettle or toaster. Room had a water tank noise at night ! We were self catering but had a breakfast and a dinner in the restaurant a three course dinner at 10 euros quite good value but nothing special. Very noisy kitchen but that's kitchens. Music around the pool started up at 10 every morning not everybody's cup of tea. The staff were friendly and helpful thank you to Luiz on reception for sorting us with our boarding passes. A ten minute walk to the town but definitely a taxi back. Shops, bars and restaurants all reasonable priced. We did the boat trip on the Maxicat saw the hump backed whales and visited Monkey Park. All in all enjoyed the holiday. Would I go again ? Not sure if it's for us.

Not worth the money

Iwould not recommend this place to anyone the staff are rude unhelpful there was never no cutlery always running out of food drinks machine broke every day tiny plastic cups for all inclusive...

we have just come home from staying at Laguna park 2, we paid £260 (€350) for 8 nights for 3 adults And you get what you pay for. Accommodation is basic but you have everything you need. We had a beautiful view from our balcony! We were self catering and the kitchen had everything we needed. The hill up to main reception was a little bit of a nightmare if was very steep. Not good for the elderly or someone who struggles walking. We had food at the pool bar and it was nice, very simple but nice. The 3 pools where immaculate, and so where the areas surrounding! Staff were very pleasant and helpful! We have booked to stay here again in May!

Stayed at Laguna Park 2 for a week all inclusive with my husband and step son. I was dreading my stay after reading previous reviews however was very pleasantly surprised and relieved. Room: Basic however very clean. Room cleaned and towels changed 4 times during our stay. We seen no ants or cockroaches and we were in a ground floor apartment. Food: We found meals to be fine and enough variety. Snacks at poolside was chips and toasties that were always cooked fresh. Pool: Beautiful, big pool. Kids aren't allowed balls or inflatables in the pool which was disappointing, the hotel and lifeguards are very strict on this policy. Staff: We found staff to be very pleasant especially Garry, Marta and Yaider at pool and disco bar...only one we found not to be as pleasant was Manuel. Joe at the kids club kept the kids entertained with activities such as crazy golf, football and table tennis. Area: The hill is steep however there are 2 lifts at both sets of stairs. There is a courtesy bus that runs daily into the town however it is walking distance also. Taxis are between 3-5 euros from the strip back upto the hotel. Nice bars and restaurants, ate at the Skybar (near the beach) and heard the Temple Bar was very good aswell. Tips: We were in row I that was near the pool and restaurant so only had to conquer the hill at night going to the bar or heading out of hotel. If weather is a bit overcast at the hotel (because it's on the hill), head down to the beach to get the sun. Cheap and cheerful break that if it was the right price we would return.
