We stayed here in late June of this year. The hotel itself was very clean and spacious, the staff were all very friendly and helpful and the location is great. Yes it's near to the airport but that did not make a difference to our stay in the slightest! There's a Bus stop about 5/10 minute walk away we used to get to Puerto deal carmen and playa blanca for not very much at all! My only few gripes was the food and cocktails, I just feel there could of been more on offer, especially with there 'show cooking' station, and I don't really understand why we had to pay extra for the Chinese restaurant as there was no table service and Alot of the food was served in the main buffet restaurant anyway! The cocktails were quite poor. But other then that it was fab! They were in the middle of doing r up the pool bar when we arrived which was opened during our stay, which was very convenient!

We are a family of 4 and stayed here from 12-26 July 2015. It was booked as a 4 star hotel and to be fair it was close, probably more a 3.5. The hotel location was right on the beach and only a 10 minute walk to bars and restaurants or a €5 taxi drive to the main strip though the town. Although being right next to the airport it was never an issue for us. Check in/out and staff: This was handled swiftly and the staff were always polite. Our room: I am disabled so we had an appropriate room on the first floor. Access was fine for a mobility scooter and the room was definitely big enough. It had a huge balcony. There's was adequate space for our clothing. The bathroom was big and had good disabled amenities. Decor was fine. It was cleaned every day, our beds made and new towels left when required. Downsides: Around the toilet smelled of urine (maybe the drains). There was a €3/day charge for the safe, same for the fridge. The mattresses on the main beds were too hard for me so I had to put the two kids mattresses on top of each other and sleep on them. Dining and bars: There was plenty to choose from when eating and drinking. The main dining room had plenty of seating and always had plenty to choose from. The food was fine and there was beer, wine and soft drinks on tap. There was also an Italian or Chinese you could book, The Chinese came with a cost of €5/adult and child over 14. These were both buffet style and again had drinks on tap. There was a burger place and a restaurant by the pool. The pool bar was small and only opened for around an hour a day! Downside: We saw a few cockroaches!! Entertainment: The main entertainment bar was great for the kids. There was live singing every night and a show too. We also went to the Piano bar a few evenings to chill out, but drinks had to be paid for here. The animation team were amazing keeping the kids entertained all day long! There was also a small arcade room for those wanting some electronic fun. Pools: There were three pools, one shallow one for the small ones and two that went to a depth of around 180cm. There were plenty of loungers but in the height of season it became a bit of a battle to get yours for the day. All in all we had a lovely holiday staying here, however we had one VERY BIG GRIPE. We had blue bands for all inclusive but there were also people with red bands who definitely had preferential treatment. Better food, extra bar, quicker seating etc. After speaking to somebody about this it turns out they 'apparently' pay more but it is only available to Spanish and Portuguese! However, this would not put us off going again. 👍🏻

firstly i have made a complaint to our tour operator regarding this hotel , the reason was because there was work being carried out during our stay and they never notified us. With regards to the hotel , its a nice hotel, very big , location is great right on the beach and a short walk away close to shops, it is right next to the airport runway so there is a bit of noise by the pool side but to be honest it didnt really bother us while we were there. the pool bar was being redeveloped when we stayed so we could not take advantage of that but when it completed it will be really good , the hotel are also redeveloping the rooms , the new rooms are reportedly supposed to be fantastic, night time entertainment was excellent during our stay , we normally get bored with the entertainment but it was good every night , there is only one bar of a night and waiting to be served was a nightmare, i have no idea why they didnt look into this when we stayed and hopefully they have now and waiting times for drinks is better , there are a few shops on the hotel grounds selling the normall stuff but i would recommend taking a trip into porto del carmen for shopping, there is a piano bar in the middle of the hotel however the drinks you have to pay for , pool towels are chargeable if you want them cleaned £1 euro per clean, the fridge in the room is chargable but if you pay for the fridge you get free access to the spa, we thought the spa was included in our AI deal but it wasnt, food was very good and we could not fault this something different everyday overall would i stay here again , no i dont think so but if the price was right then yes i would , i would recommend it but i would encourage anyone to get their tour operator to check if any work is planned

This hotel is very well located and very clean regarding grounds and room especially if you get a newly refurbished one like we did. The staff generally are very helpful and friendly but it has one major problem. The main restaurant/dining room is infested with birds. They swoop around, land on the tables and help themselves unreservedly to the food that customers are expected to eat or morelike "share" with them. It is totally disgusting. Even more disgusting probably was speaking to the PR Manager, Eric, who stank of alcohol and cigarettes and really doesn't see this as a major problem, funny though he did admit that major refurbishments would be happening in October to sort out the problem. I wonder why? As we moved to the other Beatriz Costa hotel in Costa Teguise for our last three nights of our one week holiday he also promised to look after our transfers back to the airport. He said "I give you my word" that he would personally look after it but never heard from him again, probably didn't even remember talking to us! Anyway, managed to survive by eating out every evening down the promenade, so all-inclusive a complete waste of money. Not impressed and would never return!
