Stayed with my husband for 3 nights 16-18th Feb. Booked via Thomas cook. Transfer from airport was appox 30 mins. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Hotel was above standards for cleanliness. Rooms...
We stayed here for 1 week with Thomas Cook. The customer service by reception staff was exceptional, they are so friendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned daily and provided all facilities needed. There was no kettle but after asking at reception one was brought to the room. The All Inclusive food was fantastic as there is a wide selection of things to eat including english sausages! The main pool only gets some sunlight during the day but if you head up the stairs there is a nice terrace which catches the sun for longer as well as another pool that can be used that is surrownded by palm trees. Just outside the hotel and down the road is a little shop to grab bits and bobs. The hotel is also really close to the Yumbo and other commercial centres that are in walking distance. If you are easily offended I would not recommend going to the Yumbo after 10pm. I would stay here again and again this hotel is great!

If they check you into the hotel next door you will have to walk up and down 67 steps to get to the restaurant in the hotel you thought you had booked, but they don't mention this on their website. You don't feel like you are part of it being chucked next door in a old hotel they have brought and tried to fob of as part of the complex. The rooms are worn out dirty and tatty. The don't answer complaints and are not interested in customer satisfaction

We stayed here for 7 nights and it was fantastic. The hotel was spotless. The all-inclusive was superb value for money. The food was unbelievable! As a vegetarian I was worried before heading here but the variety of delicious food was just phenomenal! The location was perfect, with several CCs within 5 mins walk, the beach and dunes c 10 mins walk and buses and taxis outside the hotel. Entertainment was the only let-down.

We got back from a trip to this hotel last Monday. The day before we left my husband got I'll with a virus and I caught it on the day after we returned. I have a flu virus with pneumonia, has anyone else got this? The hotel room was nice and the food, but the pool was very disappointing cold and in shade. The wiring at the restaurant was ridiculous and the tables were literally like sitting on long benches. The entertainment wasn't as described, if you like piano music every night then fine but otherwise sitting outside in the cold watching stupidity wasn't enjoyable at all. Sorry to put a downer on this but we also had three days bad weather and there was nothing to do and your too far out to walk anywhere.
Gran Canaria enjoys year-round warm temperatures and sunshine with very little seasonal variation. Summers are hot and dry while winters are slightly cooler with some showers. Like the rest of the island, Playa del Ingles has year round warm temperatures making it a hugely popular choice during the cold British winter.
As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
