Not to bad at all

4 May 2015

Stayed here in Febuary we were a party of 8 (including two 5 yr olds and a 3 yr old)Food was ok breakfast really nice but we tended to eat out at night as it was all so cheap.only stopped in for...

Just got back from here Sunday after staying a week. To start the Weather was glorious and a breeze was welcoming! The hotel itself is a really nice complex, and the staff are friendly. The rooms are nice and clean. I stayed In block c. We needed 3 bungalows as group of 8. So it was abit annoying 2 were next door to each other in 70s and the other was at num 4. But they said nothing was closer so can't be helped. The pool by bar was cold but once your in its lovely. On the last day when we had our all inc band off we went to the self catering pool and this was lovely warm pool and really nice food from the nice lady. The sun beds are so much nicer aswell. Food was very well priced. So getting back to the all inc... We had a pram and a lady with walking difficulties so had to get the ramps up which were next to the stairs (they were long and like had to walk up one side and then turn and come back on yourself up the next)... There are stairs every time you want to go somewhere. It's a big complex so there's a lot of walking which isn't bad for people without walking difficulties. The food was so nice, a lot of variety, and lovely deserts and biscuits. I'm quite a fussy eater and always found something I liked. Breakfast was my favourite, full English, coissants, omelette, pancakes. Yum! Dinner was things like rice and meatballs, fresh fish cooked in front of you, burgers, beef etc pastas, salads, ham, salami cheese side, there was just a lot to choose from. So no complaints. Walk to the beach was only 10-15 mins an easy straight run walk with alittle park in first few mins. And on a tues n Thursday n sat the market is on so grab a bargain, this is 5 mins on the walk to beach. Some lovely things and can even grab a massage! Just past that under the underpass you can grab yourself a pint for 1.50 euro! Nice. Lovely food and place to sit. The beach itself is beautiful, there's lots of bars, cafes, shops. There's alittle town with a lovely park right in front of a bar. Which give you nice big cocktails. When you arrive at the beaCh if you turn left and carry on straight down to the very end you'll come to the marina which I highly recommend as the place is nice to grab a drink, and you can see sea lions, and swim with them which is 35 euros, they jump over you, dance with you by pushing your hand round, safe as little kids were doing this aswell. You can also just have a kiss off it and take your own photos for 5 euro. Taxi is only 4 euros to and from beach about a 5 min drive. If you turn right as you get to beach there is just more shops and you can hire bikes with kids cart on back, and scooters, quads etc. I will say if you have a baby and need powder milk they only do aptimil at pharmacy, I couldn't find cow and gate anywhere! My tub ran out that I'd bought from the airport on way in. I had to buy norm milk which was ok as she eats food at 10m but if baby baby I'd have been panicking get.. So pack enough lol. Ok back to hotel... Bar you could only have 2 drinks per person, which was annoying as hands can carry 3-4! lol. But the entertainment bar did allow 2 alcohol n 1 non alcohol. So ques did form as norm 1-2 working. Separate que for snacks and drinks and sometimes it was 1 working both. Downside is snacks were the Same everyday. Tuna sweet corn sarni, hotdogs, chips and cheese n ham toastie. So go the restaurant for something diff they do have lovely food there. Defo recommend Nestos which is just behind the complex shop at top. Bit pricey but absolutely gorgeous 5* food, very good waitress, and Nestos himself comes out and talks to you, as does his wife. The starter n mains were very big hard to finish even the men struggled, they said good luck if we reach dessert... We didn't! At the time we went kell brook the boxer was in there. Very good place! Excursions inc glass bottom boat, oasis park..like big zoo which a free bus comes to hotel n takes you there. Waterpark, volcano, and Segway tour. There's more excursions at the town near beach. I'd say the only downside to the holiday was when they cut your band off and you checkout at 12, You are allowed to have showers etc under the reception area, but the water is cold! So not pleasant. The entertainment was just ok, needs improving tbh, but maybe it gets better in season, although my kids loved it especially the dances. Also they have no umbrellas by this pool but do have shaded areas made to sit under but in self catering they do. Sorry for long review

Stayed from 19~26 April 2015. Booked 2 x 2 bed bungalow's. 2 30 yr olds I'm one, mum daughter and grandson 10 months in the other.Ours had a full fridge, 2 ring black glass cooker, and microwave. All u need to cook, and eat in, if u choose to. We didn't, the AI food was absolutely great. We all fed well , same desserts, but always different meats and fish to go with a good selection of veg and salad. 15 mins walk to the front. Smaller and more quiet than Correlejo and Morra jabe (spelling?). I hired a car, £70 for the week, small island, good to look around, big supermarkets. However, on site the shops are reasonably priced. Excellent. Would go again. Big, basic, clean accomm, fab weather, breezy at times, great food. Negative ~ slight inclines would cause problems for those with mobility issues, its uphill back to the complex. The free alcohol......not the best I've tasted, we ended on honey rum and coke. But we shopped at the supermarket, cheap and the proper stuff :)
