Went for my 40th with the family, the bungalow was spacious, clean & decent . The food was average but very repetitive all week. Staff very efficient in the food hall though, it's also very clean. The pool & bar pool was very nice too, The only downfall was that we paid for internet but the wifi wasn't working in our rooms so the children had to keep coming up to reception to use it. Reception staff were very friendly and helped when possible I would return again Thanks 😃😃😃

Having read many bad reviews, I was worried what the standard in the hotel would be like. However, it was very good. Rooms were cleaned every two days, food was good, there was always something to eat for everyone. Freshly made omlettes and pancakes for breakfast were amazing. There were always many free sunbeds no matter what time you came to the pool at (6 pools altogether - one adult and one for kids in each block as the resort is quite big). Yes, there were some ants and cockroaches but it's totally normal in such warm climates.. however, there weren't that many of them. We stayed in Block C, which is close to reception, restaurant and the main pool and bar which was opened all day, and all the animations took place in the main bar/pool. There are 4 slides in the main pool so if you are travelling with kids, its best to ask for a room in block C. Wi-fi is free for the first week however it is really hard to find good signal, it was the best in the restaurant, but who needs wi-fi on their holiday? just enjoy the sun :) I would definitely come back again, could not complain about anything, maybe about the few cockroaches and the fact that you have to pay for all extras like a fan, kettle, safe, but its acceptable since the price we paid was very low, so we expected to pay for extras. Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay in Caleta Dorada. I would recommend it to families and couples.

My family (of five) and I just got back from a two week holiday at this hotel last Tuesday. We thought it was great, rooms were clean, pools were great, staff was very friendly expect for a bar-man at the main pool he was very rude and I wasn't the first to say it, but I already put a complaint in about that, food was fabulous and entertainment was average. I definitely recommend the pools to be opened till later as it closed at 6. Very nice area and we will definitely be coming back next year.
Remember that sunscreen on holidays in Caleta de Fuste as Fuerteventura enjoys wonderfully hot weather in the summer, peaking at 30° Celsius in July and August. Due to its location, Caleta de Fuste receives a north-easterly wind that will be welcome if you’re not an avid sun fan! If you feel like heading on holiday to Caleta de Fuste outside of the summer, then the autumn months also enjoy good weather. February enjoys temperatures of around 23° Celsius, so even then you’ll still go home with a good tan!
