Last August I went on holiday with my family, we stayed in this hotel thinking , it was nice, but it was the opposite, The rooms were horrible and disgusting, the restaurant is so overcrowded, you have to wait for ages to grab a table. I will recommend people not to book for this hotel is so expensive its not worth it. Before I booked this hotel I read the trip advisor's reviews it was all negative reviews, me and my family decided not to pay attention to the reviews, we thought people were just being negative and we decided to book this hotel, worst mistake, we had a holiday from hell.

Before we went here we were looking at reviews on here and thinking 'these will just be from people that are hard to satisfy and having a good moan to put people off their holiday' we had high hopes of this place! In the brochure it looked fantastic, we liked everything about it before we booked it and we also like alcudia, and there seemed plenty to do here so we booked it:) We had the holiday from hell. To start off, we had a road rage transfer coach driver who was very rude and the transfer time was supposed to be around an hour and a half, but we were on it 3 hours. When we arrived at the hotel, in the lobby, there were so many holiday makers waiting to get their room key, a que going out of the door and we had to stand outside in the heat with all of our baggage. There were only 3 staff members at the desk checking people in. We were waiting in the que for about an hour or a little more. Because this hotel is in a big complex and there are many other hotels in it, we had to walk to it with our heavy suitcases. We didn't realise the complex was this big! When we got there, the hotel lobby was desolate with no drinks machines , and only 1 computer. The rooms were tidy and clean when we got in. It had a lovely view of the lake. This was the first thing we'd actually been impressed with. By the second day we had had enough. The food every day was the same. It was very bland... And I must say... Absolutely disgusting. Everytime I we got it on our plates it was cold. It was like prison food or hospital food but Spanish also, there was no selection and we felt ill every night. There was hardly any choice. By the end of the week me and my sister had to go to Burger King in the town to eat because we couldn't stomach the food from the hotel anymore. Also, it is an all inclusive resort and we had to walk miles to get a drink and a daytime snack. It wasn't relaxing, we should of packed our walking boots! everytime we needed something we had to walk to get it. And that isn't good in the heat especially with small children. It was like another City, not a cosy little complex. The swimming pools looked fabulous in the brochure but they were so small and hardly had any areas with shade for sun beds. It was like being in a desert with no shelter. The pools overlooked a lake which looked amazing in the brochure. We thought we'd have a nice night time stroll by it one evening. But... All you could see was pollution, chairs and tables , you name it, were just floating on the surface. And it always gave off a foul egg smell that never left my nostrils until I got on the transfer bus home. Not enjoyable at all. It came towards the end of our stay and our room hadn't been cleaned all week, even though we'd complained twice and they said they would come up and do it, nothing was done about it. We Normally stay in a 3* and we have never experienced this. Our sheets weren't changed, or even the bed wasn't made, we ran out of toilet paper, the bin wasnt changed. It was awful. We normally book 3* hotels but this... This shouldn't of even been 2*. We always enjoy holidays but this was a shock for us because it was the worst experience. It wasn't relxing, fun, it was like going to a prison camp for a week and we were really excited to come home! If you're about to book this holiday, and are looking at the reviews, I would seriously take note of them, because I didn't, and now I wish I did! I couldn't agree more with them. I thought they were exaggerated but it really is the Holiday from hell!
No need for warm clothes on holidays in Alcudia! In the summer you can expect hot, dry weather with temperatures regularly reaching 30° Celsius and above. The delightful sea breeze will keep hot days from becoming unpleasant so that when you are relaxing on the beach all you need is sun cream and a cool drink and you're good to go.
If you're not too fond of the sun, you would be best visiting Alcudia in the winter months as it is quite mild. However, you should be aware that Majorca does experience some irregular rainfall in the winter period.
As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
