The positives of this hotel are the room we stayed in was in the habanah block which is just over a small road from the main building. The room was basic but very clean. The check in was quick but...
The staff were friendly and always greeted you as you came in to the reception area. The room was a little dated and cold. The travel cot provided didn't have a mates but thankfully we brought ours for another night with family. Overall did the job and for the price was well worth our custom. Would happily stay again.
We arrived feeling terrified after reading some of the reviews but were very surprised. We stayed in the habana part of the hotel and Paid £150 each for all inclusive long weekend and couldn't fault...
Check in was the normal Days Inn friendly greeting but as this was a four night stay the few minutes of charm from one individual was quickly forgotten. Why is it that there is a clear lack of communication between household staff and reception? Yes it's the little things that annoy and on this occasion it was the non functioning TV remote control. To me it seemed as simple as a flat battery so taking reporting the non working device on morning number one I had an expectation that it would be 'good to go' that evening upon my return. Same problem so I went and inquired about fresh batteries -- no there were none! The remedy was to take my remote control and swap it with one from an unoccupied room. Surely that is not a good solution. Bed was uncomfortable and cleanliness was only average, my advice keep driving towards Leeds where the choice is greater and the standards higher.
I really enjoyed my holiday in Majorca. We stayed in the Habanah hotel. Room was basic but very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Kids really enjoyed time in the pool. Poor entertainment...
Freindly staff, fairly basic, but clean and comfortable. Telly's a bit small for someone with my bad eyesight :)
Me and my boyfriend went last late July, we were both 19. We arrives late, around 2AM, to be told that the room we were staying in wasn't in the main complex(i think it was Gobi). We got lost on the...
there was mould growing in the window and the bathroom towelling and bedding didn't was poor, the electricity went off in the night stopping us using the internet and charging our iphone and ipad whether this was the hotel or provider was concerned as my wife has to have a light on at night. We never had the breakfast.
Sun lovers should head on holidays to El Arenal in July and August as the temperatures are at their highest during these peak months. There are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas on the beaches if you need some shade when the Mediterranean sun gets a bit too much. Temperatures in the winter months are in around 20 ° Celsius so bring some warm clothing for the evenings. Regardless, there's still plenty of sun and blue skies on El Arenal holidays!
