Me and my husband visited over the Easter break with our 5 and 2 year old boys and had a brilliant experience. We have visited Majorca before a few years ago and stayed at another hotel but this hotel was much better. The location is great, you can get straight onto the beach from the hotel which is fab when you have young kids with all the paraphanalia. It wasn't too busy which is perfect for us and meant that we didn't have to wait long at all for anything. The reception staff and restaurant staff were all lovely and were very friendly to our boys. The entertainment staff were exceptional, particularly Kris, Eugene and Milla who were so friendly and made sure our boys knew what was happening, although they didn't want to join the kids clubs as they are mostly happy todo their own thing. The kids club activitis on offer were great though. Food was lovely and there was a great variety. We would definitely visit again but maybe in May as my only nigglewas that the main pool was freezing but think this was just because it wasn't overly hot at the resort. The indoor pool was ava

We have just returned from a family holiday here and had a lovely time. Good points Staff were friendly and helpful It seemed to attract a good standard of guest-that isn't meant to sound snobby but everyone there was so polite well behaved! Great food-enough variety to have something different every night with lots of choice. Good location-short drives/bus journeys to visit other areas...and there is lots to see and do. Didn't use the kids club but saw it in action and it looked safe and fun. Very clean hotel-staff did a great job...and I am a fussy former chambermaid! The baby cot was perfect-looked very new and in good condition. They provided suitable bedding. Bad points Indoor pool was very small and always full. Coffee was terrible-including coffee purchases at the cafe. I would've liked tea/coffee making facilities in the room for the price we paid. More space in the bedroom and a more comfortable sofa bed in the livingroom would be good. We had hoped to put our toddler in the bedroom so we could sleep in living area but it wasn't suitable. Instead we had to hide in our tiny room every night after our wee girl was put to bed at 8ish. Not ideal. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay with Iberostar again because of this.

We went here over Easter. The hotel is beautiful, staff are fantastic and rooms are lovely. The all inclusive is not very good compared to other hotels. The hotel fronts a gorgeous beach although it is a long walk into Alcudia. We couldn't fault the staff, they were all lovely. A lady known as "Little Maria" was exceptionally friendly and smiley. The rest of the bar staff were friendly as were the reception staff, maintenance and housekeeping staff. Always smiling and friendly. The only thing we could fault was the food. The first few days (out of season) was very poor, although it got better over Easter weekend - although never hot. Salads and cheeses were lovely. Snacks might as well have been non existent -although this might get better as the season progresses. The entertainment staff were very pleasant and hard working. Chris and Ardeanna were both really friendly and made a point to stop and chat. We will go back to this hotel but not out of season. If you struggle with the food as we did there is a fantastic restaurant a few hundred feet away called Boy - my husband is still raving about it.

This hotel was very good. It was affordable, and well located especially if you are on a cycling holiday. The pool was clean and the premises was in good condition. My husband and I went in March and the hotel was not too busy, and the staff were extremely friendly. We had a view of the beach from our room, and could walk down the beach through other hotels. You are able to rent a bicycle and experience the nearby scenes. The food was good. Best to skip the stale sandwiches that are left out during the gaps between breakfast, lunch and dinner. Unfortunately we were so busy sight seeing that we always missed lunch and had to settle for the sandwiches. The bed wasn't the most comfortable and the bathroom had seen better days, but for the price of the whole stay it was acceptable. Overall, it was a lovely first experience of an all-inclusive hotel, and definitely good value for money. (actual date of visit was March 2012 Long overdue review)
No need for warm clothes on holidays in Alcudia! In the summer you can expect hot, dry weather with temperatures regularly reaching 30° Celsius and above. The delightful sea breeze will keep hot days from becoming unpleasant so that when you are relaxing on the beach all you need is sun cream and a cool drink and you're good to go.
If you're not too fond of the sun, you would be best visiting Alcudia in the winter months as it is quite mild. However, you should be aware that Majorca does experience some irregular rainfall in the winter period.
As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
