Nice location on the beach; clean rooms, good shape of the furniture, large variety of food. Avoid Schauinsland Reisen, which ruined our island trip : the booking agent put 8.45 for pick up time, but for our hotel was 8.30. Maybe not such a big deal if I could have thid trip (that I planned since we left home) in another day and the agency would have the courtesy to offer a compensation. But we leave tomorrow and all the agent said was :" I'm sorry, but I can't do nothing for today". Well, I think that we ALLWAYS can find a solution, IF we WANT to. Not to speak that it was the second thip that we booked with them and other local agencies offers a discount for more than one booking. Other inconveniences at the hotel : free wifi for only 1/2 hour per day (...) and insufficient sunbeds on the pool. Not included sunbeds on the beach.

Wonderful staff, food delicious, room a little dated, perfect location right on the beach. The only complaint is trying to get a sunbed, unless you set your alarm for 5am, although on the last day the staff did start to monitor unattended sunbeds and did actually remove some peoples towels where they hadn't been used for an hour or so. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family and would definitely return.

My Wife and I spent a week at this hotel last month. It had a perfect location right on the beach, our apartment was comfortable with a nice balcony overlooking the pool and with a side view of the sea. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was good, the breakfasts and lunches were excellent and the dinners good with an ample choice of hot and cold dishes. Overall we had an enjoyable holiday but it was slightly marred by one incident during our stay. My Wife decided to have a swim one afternoon and upon her return she placed our own towel on the balcony railings for a short while. The hotel does provide towels which can be changed when wet but like many other guests we preferred to use our own. The drying facilities on our balcony were inadequate for hanging out a beach towel and so we used the railings. Within a couple of hours we received an unaddressed and unsigned letter from the management referring to the rule that for safety reasons.this was not allowed. This caused us some annoyance as several of the other rules were not enforced. The life guard on duty at the pool tried to enforce the no diving rule but was unable to control the number of children running and diving or jumping into the pool without any consideration for those already in the water.Fortunately we didn't see any accidents whilst we were there but the were several near misses. Surely this was a greater safety issue than the risk of our towel falling onto the hedge which was growing beneath our balcony. The rule relating to the reservation of sunloungers round the pool was not enforced. The rule stated that beds can only be reserved for less than 45 minutes otherwise the management has the right to remove personal items. Guests were putting towels out at 6am and by 8am all the beds had been reserved. Few beds were occupied by 9.30 and many were not being used until much later in the day. There was a dress code for the restaurant for evening dinner. No shorts or bare shoulders. Many ladies wore very fashionable evening gowns with bare shoulders and many men and women wore shorts. A minority looked as if they had just come in from the beach, but we didn't see anyone being turned away. What is the use of having rules which are either unenforceable or need revision. Unfortunatel we are likely to remember our towel incident rather than the good points of our stay at this hotel.
