After a couple of hiccups I.e. Driver dropping us off at the wrong hotel and it was in the middle of a thunderstorm and lightening at the time, they arranged a taxi to bring us to the correct hotel. When we got there we were shown to our room which had no balcony/ terrace as we had booked, the management upgraded us (at no extra cost) to a beautiful room facing the pool and sea. . Management were so apologetic, obliging and ensured that the rest of our holiday went without any problems. The thomas cook rep 'naiomi' ensured that we had the taxi cost reimbursed and gave us a 'Priority Package' as compensation. The food was out of this world and all the cooked meats , roasts, we're all so tender. Wide variety to suit all tastes. Also plenty of 'gluten Free' foods on offer. The manageress must have brilliant feet because she was seen walking around all day ensuring everything and everyone were doing what they were supposed to be doing, which I must say, the staff were brilliant and didn't seem to bother them that they were working which seemed to us to be working long hours! The entertainment which were under the leadership of Kris, were also excellent, they also seem to be doing such a fantastic job and on the go all day. The shows were out of this world especially the 'Mamma Mia' and 90's show. Well done Kris for getting such a great team together. Only wish you had the Iberostar t shirts for sale! Xx. I also wished to buy the Iberostar flip flops from their shop just outside the front door but they didn't have the size 8 that we wanted, such a shame. If you get anymore in can you please email me and maybe you could send us a couple of pairs. We would pay for them obviously. Very pleasant hotel. I would and have recommended you to my friends. The pool was ideal and plenty of sun loungers for everyone. The sea and sand were very convenient just next to the hotel, where you could paraglide or catch the boats for trips. Thank You again iberostar Alcudia Park for giving us such a welcome. Big kiss to all the staff on reception, too many to name xx

Our first family holiday ever and we selected the Iberostar to relax for two weeks. We were not disappointed. The hotel was lovely and bright, clean and tidy and very family friendly. Going half board was ideal for us as the restaurant provided sufficient food to feed a small army at both breakfast and dinner sittings! Being on the beach we were able to take advantage of both pool and sea and the kids club was great for our two children and gave us a few hours a day to ourselves although we could quite happily have not used it. Evening entertainment was different every night and the staff were great. A couple of niggles were the allocation of room on arrival, bit curious that our room was allocated to us when we arrived but because we were early and sent away it wasn't available on our return after lunch??? Thankfully we had booked a sea view/pool view room so were able to insist on a room near the one we were originally allocated. Another down point was the pool "lifeguard", not really there to save anyone as my son could have come to mischief had I not been vigilant. The steps in the pool are also not highlighted and this caused a few incidents during the stay, thankfully not our children but would justify maybe a coloured marking on them to indicate they are there? Other than that we had a fantastic holiday and would recommend to other families.

First impressions of the hotel were that it was very clean, well presented and a huge reception area. The reception staff are very friendly, they can not do enough for you and are very knowledgeable of the area. We asked for advice on restaurants in Alcudia port and given details of two fantastic restaurants that were personally recommended As a couple, we felt that the hotel is centered around families and the all inclusive factor - the restaurant was packed morning noon and night. We stayed bed and breakfast and the breakfast was of good quality albeit a little samey. The pool area is large, lots of sunbeds both poolside and overlooking the beach on the grassy area. The pool is very clean. The location of the hotel is brilliant, right on the beach which is clean, the waters are crystal clear and perfect to stroll up and down For an all inclusive beach front holiday you can't really do much better than visiting here.

Firstly, I would like to say that all the staff we came across were really helpful, friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Reception staff were excellent as were restaurant staff and the ladies who cleaned the rooms put those special little touches in the room by folding towels into swans, etc and putting sweets on the bed. Much appreciated. The food in the restaurant was very good, plenty of variety and nicely presented, and as we were all inclusive it was nice to be able to go to the pool bar and help ourselves to soft drinks and ice creams (only 2 varieties of ice cream available though, outside) without queuing. There never seemed to be much of a wait for beers etc though. The public areas of the hotel were very nice but I was disappointed by our room which was rather tired and shabby and not what I had expected from a hotel with a 4 star rating. I think that if the rooms had the self catering facilities taken out (kitchen sink, hob, kitchen cupboards, table and chairs) they could be made into more spacious and more luxurious rooms which would encourage people to come back. Work needed here! We switched the air conditioning on one night and after a few minutes a smell of rotten eggs could be smelt. In the morning, when we left the room, the smell was even stronger in the corridor! We were in block 4 and our room backed onto the road and the traffic noise woke us up early every morning (coming from a rural area we are not used to this and felt like we needed a holiday when we returned home!) One night, when we were trying to get an early night as we had an early excursion booked for the following day, we were wakened and kept awake by a baby crying in the next room. The hotel has a lot of families with young children staying there,in fact it seemed to us that the majority of guests seemed to have children under the age of 5 with them. The hotel has good facilities for entertaining children and a play park off to one side. As our children have now grown up we felt a bit out of place and will look for adult only hotels in future! The hotel is right by the beach but there are no hotel sun loungers on the sand. There are hotel sun loungers on a grassy patch overlooking the sea but you have to be an early bird to get one and the same goes for getting a pool side lounger! (I did see little signs on some of the loungers saying that the management reserves to right to remove personal belongings from sun loungers which have been left unattended for more than 45 minutes to allow other clients the opportunity to enjoy the use of them, though)
No need for warm clothes on holidays in Alcudia! In the summer you can expect hot, dry weather with temperatures regularly reaching 30° Celsius and above. The delightful sea breeze will keep hot days from becoming unpleasant so that when you are relaxing on the beach all you need is sun cream and a cool drink and you're good to go.
If you're not too fond of the sun, you would be best visiting Alcudia in the winter months as it is quite mild. However, you should be aware that Majorca does experience some irregular rainfall in the winter period.
As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
