This hotel was very good. It was affordable, and well located especially if you are on a cycling holiday. The pool was clean and the premises was in good condition. My husband and I went in March and the hotel was not too busy, and the staff were extremely friendly. We had a view of the beach from our room, and could walk down the beach through other hotels. You are able to rent a bicycle and experience the nearby scenes. The food was good. Best to skip the stale sandwiches that are left out during the gaps between breakfast, lunch and dinner. Unfortunately we were so busy sight seeing that we always missed lunch and had to settle for the sandwiches. The bed wasn't the most comfortable and the bathroom had seen better days, but for the price of the whole stay it was acceptable. Overall, it was a lovely first experience of an all-inclusive hotel, and definitely good value for money. (actual date of visit was March 2012 Long overdue review)

Visited here with my girlfriend for 7 nights after taking the ferry from Ibiza where we'd been for 4 nights. We arrived about 2am and were welcomed at the reception by Benjamin, absolute top marks for this guy - he really was fantastic the whole holiday! He gave us two big bottles of water to take to our room which was a nice touch, although they are free from reception anyway it was a nice thoughtful touch given that we hadn't asked for them. He gave us what must have been one of if not THE best room in the hotel - Room 1111. It was right above the restaurant, but the balcony was absolutely huge and had it's own sun loungers, sofa and more. He also informed us that we could still get food despite the time of night, as they leave food out in the restaurant for people arriving and departing at odd hours which was great. The hotel is very family-orientated with lots of kids everywhere, but we as a couple still more than enjoyed ourselves. The hotel is right on the front of an amazing beach with crystal clear waters that stay shallow (up to my knees) for about 50 metres. The food was very good, although the restaurant can be pretty manic in the evening but we always managed to get a table. We usually tried to get a table outside at the back of the restaurant as it was really nice out there. We only sat by the pool once the entire holiday as we weren't able to get a sun lounger all the other days due to people 'reserving' them sometimes by 8am. This is obviously an issue at the hotel going by the other reviewers. At the hotel in Ibiza we had visited the week before, towels left on the sunbeds before the pool opened were simply removed by the staff, as were towels left on beds all day with no sign of anyone lying there. This makes sense as half the time towels were left on sun loungers for a whole day with nobody even lying there. Our only other gripe was with one of the barmen 'Pep' who was rude to us and other people on a number of occasions for no apparent reason, it's not what you expect when you've paid a lot of money for a holiday, but I must insist every single other staff member we encountered were really friendly and pleasant! Overall a great hotel and I would definitely return.

I have been going to Majorca ever since I was a child, and always stayed in the beautiful area of Alcudia and always staying within Iberostar hotels. I have to say this was the best hotel I have ever stayed in, champagne and orange juice to greet us which was a welcome refreshment in the sun. The reception staff were incredibly welcoming and made me and my family feel welcome. We stayed here for 1 week in September 2014 and it was wonderful. The food was great - we went all inclusive, and the beach is by far the best beach why go the the Barbados when you have Majorca??? White sand and clear blue water you can see your feet through. Large, clean rooms inside and out and swimming pool inside and out. I will be booking my holiday at this hotel again in April and can't wait to return! I couldn't recommend it highly enough. Thanks Ruth Hay
No need for warm clothes on holidays in Alcudia! In the summer you can expect hot, dry weather with temperatures regularly reaching 30° Celsius and above. The delightful sea breeze will keep hot days from becoming unpleasant so that when you are relaxing on the beach all you need is sun cream and a cool drink and you're good to go.
If you're not too fond of the sun, you would be best visiting Alcudia in the winter months as it is quite mild. However, you should be aware that Majorca does experience some irregular rainfall in the winter period.
As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
