Our apartment was clean, spacious, had a great view and had most of what we needed for our stay. The towels of which we had many were changed daily. There is a little but well stocked supermarket...
We stayed here 3 years ago looking for somewhere clean, with nice food and suitable for our children. The cala Romani ticked the boxes whilst being acceptable cost wise as the wife can only have term time off. The hotel is huge, the rooms are spacious and clean and the food is great id rate it 9/10 and I'm fussy. They have the traditional restaurant as well as a pizzeria. Foods is replenished quickly, very efficient chefs on theme days and a huge selection of different foods. The pool area is lovely, perfect for children and adults too. The staff are great, bar staff friendly and quick. There is a snack bar open all day too, fresh fruit hams/cheese bread etc. small shop on site stocks every day essentials(the essential Cheetos) newspapers pool equipment etc. the hotel provide a huge slide daily for the children and of an evening there are trampolines, bouncy castles etc(small charge). Five minute walk to beach area, which is lovely. Hotel also has a park area and tennis courts, daily kids club with games etc and one for adults. Five min walk to local shops(plenty of them) and a bus stop should you want to venture afar. Evening entertainment is more aimed at children, but if they are happy then us adults are too right? We switch between Cyprus Portugal Spain and are returning again this august for two weeks. The only negative id put is the transfer time from airport, around 2.5 hours, a private taxi would be 45 min.
The staff are friendly and helpful. These apartments are spacious, comfortable and spotless. House keeping great clean towels everyday , pool area very clean , great location . The bar was...
Cannot say enough about this hotel, it was our families first visit in September last,(my husband, 3 year old son and I) and we have just booked for this coming September again, it was above and beyond what we ever expected, 3 pools, park, sand pit, secluded lagoon beach, live entertainment for both children and adults in ballroom, kids club. They catered for absolutely every nationality food wise. Superb choices, rooms are basic, but exceptionally clean. Pepsi, Fanta, 7up and slush puppies on tap, ice cream and alcohol served all day behind bar, yes all free, part of the all inclusive service, and snack bar for those who are peckish. fantastic holiday can't recommend it enough
Cannot fault our 1 bedroomed self catering apartment. Really large, spotlessly clean and had everything supplied, particularly kitchen equipment. Staff were very very helpful and friendly and the...
My family and I have ben to this hotel 8 times. We are a family of 5 and struggle to find accommodation that suits our needs. This hotel more that suits us. From the moment we arrive we are made to feel welcome and valued. The reception staff are very helpful and speak several different languages. The rooms are basic but spotlessly clean. The windows have black out curtains which keep the rooms cooler. There is no air con in the rooms but they do have a ceiling fan. The beds are very comfortable. The bathroom has a shower over the bath which is a mixer tap. The water pressure is always amazing. The shower head is not fixed to the wall which is brilliant for rinsing off children after a long day at the pool. The pool area is enormous with plenty of beds for everyone. It is kept lovely and clean. There are 3 pools ranging from a shallow pool for small children to a large adult pool. There are a great variety of activities for adults and children to take part in and a kids club for small children. The restaurant in quite large and serves a large variety of choice at all the meal times. The food is always fresh and hot. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The bar staff are really good fun especially Juan. They have an extensive range of drinks and cocktails and are not skinny on the measures. You can help yourself to soft drinks which are proper brands like Pepsi not cheap imitations. The bar is open until midnight, plenty late enough when you have children to look after the next day. The evening entertainment changed last year and alas this is where I have to say we didn't find it as good as previous years. It is split into to sections, early is the mini disco which children just love and then after that entertainment for an older audience. Previously we have enjoyed big acts like magicians and acrobats and singers alongside more in house entertainment but we didn't have any big acts last year although we did go early season in May/June. There is a lovely village about a 3-4 minute walk from he hotel where there are shops and bars and restaurants should you want a change. There is a shop in the hotel but its quite expensive compared to the village prices. The beach is a short walk away and its spectacular. The biggest draw back for this hotel is the length of the transfer. I would strongly recommend a private transfer. Resort hoppa can take between 2/3 hours depending on stops a taxi 50 mins. We have to have a mini bus and it costs 90 euros each way. Worth every penny All in all a great place to stay. I see a lot of the same families each year and we all enjoy a fabulous holiday. I cant wait to go back and visit again this year and spend time with all our friends there because that's how the staff make you feel.
Second time to Vilamoura previously stayed at Tivoli Marina, big diff in there to parque mourabel but absolutely loved appt 1 at mourabel, perfect for a 5 day stay so much so were bkd again in May...
Me and my fiancee bagged a 4 day break here for a fantastic price so we werent expecting much.On arrival hotel looks a bit run down. The pool area and outside space is much more modernised than from the hotel interior and restuarant/bar.I imagine they are slowly doing the place up but the job on the pool is fantastic. Plus points: Great all inclusive drinks selection and there seemed to be great kids enertainment.Room was comfortable and had everything you need Minus Points: The Food ,Chips, chips and more chips,Fatty Meat,A breakfast selection for the Britsh pallette only,I understand that this is the majority of clientele but it would have been wonderful to see some spanish food,a small selection of tapas maybe. We ended up eating out for dinner most nights as the grease does start to get to the tummy after a while.I reccomened Pizzera D'Alfil for fantastic food Coach Transfer:I highly reccomend renting a car or getting a private transfer. The transfer time is 3 hrs which was longer, hotter and much more uncomfortable than the flight. Location:Calas is an unusual little spot with not much going on.There is a maze (literally) of small bars and restaurants in the centre but if your out for a clubbing or even late barring holiday this wouldn't be the spot for you Beach:Beatiful clear waters only 5 minutes from the hotel
Holidays in Calas de Mallorca are perfect in the summer for those wishing to top up their tans as temperatures reach 30° Celsius and beyond. Make sure you have your sun cream handy, as it will definitely be needed! Winter months tend to be a lot cooler and the weather can be more temperamental, with periodic rainfall and cloud. So make sure you pack suitable clothing regardless of when you plan on visiting this idyllic Balearic island.
