Where to start. Group of boys travelling for my 21st. Arrival, 3 rooms on 1 floor, couldn't have asked for better, that's where the praise stops. Rooms come with air con (that constantly rattles) and a fridge (that doesn't work). The bathroom came with a fitted cold water spigot (shower), a bath and a hair dryer. We had no hot water in the shower for the 5 days we were there. Complaints were made but nothing was done. The rooms were swiped clean each day, but we never got any clean bed sheets and the towels were only replaced once. The hotel does have wi-fi but unfortunately it will cost you 7€ per day, and may I also add, it didn't work in the area our room was in... Sun loungers will cost you 12€ at the pool and a safe will be 3€ a day. The nearest shop is below the hotel and the beach is literally at your door step. The hotel is in a good location but is a 10-15 minute walk away from a taxi rank and the hotel staff refused to call a taxi to the hotel. This is my 3rd visit to Ibiza had very high expectations for the Jet Apartments because of the hype, I will never book this hotel again, especially for the price you pay for a horrible ancient room with exposed live electrical connections. Hopefully my visit is a one off because the hotel seems to have a great reputation, but I'll never be giving it the chance to redeem itself.

I stayed in Jet apartments in August 2015 for 5 nights. The hotel is very nicely laid out (we stayed in a four bed room) and very spacious. There were two en suite bathrooms and the living area was large. The balconies are also spacious, and the room had a nice modern feel to it. Jet is renowned for the pool parties that it throws during the day and these are extremely good. Even if you do not stay in this hotel, I would massively recommend you to go to at least one of the pool parties while you are out there! Sunbeds are €12 per day, and if you need an umbrella, that goes up to €24 (bit of a kick in the teeth if you get burnt easy). While I think charging for the beds is justified, I do think that if you have a room with jet, you should get a bit of a discount. Nonetheless, the beds are comfy and the DJ and atmosphere is worth the money you pay for the beds (note, the pool party is free). However, the price of the bed is mitigated by the fact that Jet has a supermarket, which you can buy drinks etc and bring them by the pool. This is also incredibly useful for people staying at Jet. The pool bar is about €8 for a drink whereas the supermarket is like €3 for a drink and a minute walk from the pool. The general consensus amongst my friends was that we would come back to Jet for the pool parties, but not stay there again. Reason being, our con wasn't working and the shower is salt water which I physically couldn't stand, I mean I really couldn't stand this, I had to wash my hair with mineral water. Admittedly, I stayed at one of my friends hotels one of the nights, and I had a much better sleep despite it being a cheaper hotel (bed was comfier, air con was lovely). Ibiza as a whole is a fantastic place and there is something there for everyone. I will definitely be going back next year. Pros - a very good party hotel - great location (on the beach, near Ushuaia and space, right in the heart of playa d'en bossa - a nice modern room - lots of people to interact with (age around 22-32) - safety deposit box is coded rather then opened with a key so ignore the previous reviews about theft. Box is only €15 for a room of 4 and is spacious.Just don't leave it unlocked - air con is free (but please see below) - pool parties immense Cons - the shower and taps both run with saltwater - in my room, the air con was very poor and the room was quite hot. This is due to it being a large room and the air con units only being in the bedrooms. - I can sleep perfectly when there is noise, but for most people, you will not be getting any sleep whatsoever - if you have a lot of friends, because your room is large, it is a bit of a curse because everyone will come in your room and it'll quickly turn into a oven - the wifi is absolutely shocking, I had trouble loading a snapchat and has to pay €3 for an hour (although it is €7 for 24 hours). It does not work in your room Taking everything into account, this hotel gets a solid 3 star.

In general, the service was good and the location was excellent, but everything else was bad: The bathroom smelled like stale urine, the water in the shower would alternate between scalding hot and freezing cold, the water was extremely salty and totally undrinkable, the air conditioners are fixed on one setting and the one in the main room didn't cool anything while the one in the bedroom was freezing cold. The extra blankets appeared to have never been washed, and just opening the closet with these extra blankets made the whole apartment smell (they must have been moldy). The bathroom towels were pretty rough and not very absorbent. There was no WiFi access in the room. Chairs on the beach in front of the hotel were 10 euro and chairs at the hotel pool were 12 euro, using wifi in the lobby was 7 euro. The soap provided was basically a brick of rubber. The beds and pillows were comfortable enough, and the location and amenities in the hotel were phenomenal. It's a ten minute walk to Ushuaia or Space, and an easy bus ride in to Ibiza Town. The service was good. I would not recommend staying here. It's a fine place to party out of, but there's so many options around that (for the money) this place did not seem worth it.

Do not stay in Jet apartments. It's just a name, the hotel rooms are basic which I don't mind I'm not a snob and lets face it you're not going to be in them half the time. So I would rate the room at 2 stars, the good thing was that the maids bought fresh towels everyday. Tbh we didn't pay much to stay at Jet because we paid in advance however I checked again and to stay the dates we were staying (in august) and the amount of time were stay (3 nights, 4 days) they were asking £1,000 including flights. And we paid £350. Bearing this in mind the cheeky f***** were charging for sunbeds around your OWN poolside 15 euro a day to lay on and when I tried to bring drink to the poolside I bought from THEIR shop they refused you could clearly see the Jet plastic bag he said no ( I sneaked it in anyway). Also if you wanted an umbrella for shade there was also a charge 15 euro. Oh and you had to pay 7 euro for wifi even if your sitting at reception. I wouldn't stay in Jet again- I would just stay in basic hotel that doesn't over charge for last minute holidays and sunbeds round the pool. The music is 24/7 and can hear it from you apartment we was at the opposite end of the pool round the back and could still hear it, also they had 'house every weekend on repeat' and other songs every 5mins, their play list probably consisted of 5 songs seriously. Also the Spanish people are so hostile towards English people in Ibiza I've never experienced anything like it. I don't think they realise that their Island would be nothing but a washed up overgrown sandy no name island if it wasn't for tourist paying 20 euro a drink and 15 euro a sunbed so cheeky and for their service they take 20mins to give you a menu in any restaurant, another 20mins to come back over to order and another 20 to get a bill. Other than that had a really enjoyable holiday :)
