African Market
Perfect for honing your haggling skills is Costa Calma’s own African Market. Even though Fuerteventura is a Spanish island, its location close to Africa is celebrated with cultural events and traditions. This market is held most Sundays and Wednesdays, and offers a variety of stalls manned by friendly locals and expats alike.

Whether you like to explore on foot or on wheels – you can rent a bicycle or car from many hotels – Fuerteventura is small enough that it’s easy to venture further from your chosen resort. Pack your water and sun cream, and set off to explore neighbouring beaches, sand dunes, mountains and towns.
