How far is Talamanca from the airport?

About 15-20 minutes (10km) from Ibiza Airport. When you book with us, you can add transfers as part of the package for a proper good price. They're ATOL protected and there'll be someone waiting for you at arrivals. Taxis are also readily available at the airport if you prefer (though you may have to queue, especially in summer).

Can you walk to Ibiza Town from Talamanca?

Yes — it's one of the best things about staying here. Ibiza Town is about 15 minutes on foot along the coast, taking you past Marina Botafoch. You can also catch a water taxi from the bay in summer, which is even quicker and a fun way to arrive.

Is Talamanca good for families?

Brilliant. The bay has shallow, calm water perfect for kids, and the daytime vibe is relaxed and family-friendly. Several hotels have kids' pools and family facilities. It's only the proximity to Pacha that gives it a party reputation - the bay itself is genuinely chilled during the day.

Is Talamanca expensive?

It's premium Ibiza pricing - the beach clubs and marina restaurants are upscale (mains €15-30, beers €5-8). But Ibiza Town is a short walk away with more casual options, and the supermarkets in Talamanca are reasonably priced if you're self-catering.

What's the nightlife like?

The bay itself has chilled beach bars and some upscale dining. But the real draw is Pacha - a 10-minute walk from the bay, no taxi needed. Marina Botafoch has cocktail bars and the Lio cabaret club. For the big superclubs (Amnesia, Ushuaia, Hi), you'll need a taxi or club bus, but they're all within 15-20 minutes.

Do you need a car?

Not if you're happy in Talamanca and Ibiza Town. Everything is walkable - the bay, the beach, the Old Town, Marina Botafoch, Pacha. For exploring the rest of the island (beaches, hippy markets, the north), a hire car or scooter is handy but not essential - taxis and buses cover the main routes.
