I stayed at the kivilcim in august 2014, and have been back to visit staff late last summer, excellent hotel, great location, and really friendly staff, the rooms are clean, the hotel itself is immaculately clean, the food for the AI is decent, always something I wanted to eat, the staff are excellent, looking to go back again this summer, I loved the location, close to the beach, the quieter end of marmaris, close to some lovely restaurants, I have stayed all over turkey and in other hotels in icmeler and marmaris area, and this hotel is the best value for money.
I returned to the Kivilcim for my second visit this season, and the hotel did not disappoint me in any way. It was like returning home, the staff made me fell very welcome (as ever). The hotel was as immaculately clean at the end of the season as it was at the beginning. The food was well presented and varied (lovely soups!!!). The bar prices are very reasonable and the A La Carte menu is delicious and extremely good value. Plenty of comfy sunbeds, and loads of indoor and outdoor spaces. It can be a little noisy on the street at times but the windows do close. This is a very nice place to stay! Thank You All
The hotel is clean and even though the rooms were a bit dated they were quite spacious , cleaned daily with fresh towels and bedding, the food was repetitive but was well cooked , the staff were very nice and friendly , Scorpio the receptionist was very helpful, and the owner and his wife were always there for any problems, bar prices and exchange rate very good ,
the kivilcim hotel is a nice clean hotel...the staff are friendly and helpful...the food ,whilst a bit repetitive was acceptable and well presented....we were a party of four and were more than happy with the hotel overall...must mention too. the room was cleaned daily with fresh clean towels- bar prices were reasonable and cheaper than outside bars.--.walking distance to beach and eating /bars.....now for the downside; it is situated on a busy road and was a bit noisy..it quietened down about 3am and started up again at 4am..if you're a light sleeper as I am,-take ear plugs!.....wont be returning to the hotel even though it was a bargain, as Marmaris is too busy for me....hop on a 'dolmus' and go to Icmeler or Turunc....much quieter and very pretty little resorts!
Marmaris is pretty much permanently warm. Even winter days rarely go below 10° Celsius, and the height of summer sees the thermometer shoot above 30° Celsius. The water temperature is conducive to swimming in the light blue sea, and from May to October you're guaranteed no rain - so pack your Factor 30! One thing's for sure: if it's sun, sea and sand you want, Marmaris holidays are just the ticket.
