Anyone who has been to a 5 star all inclusive hotel anywhere in the Med knows that these 5 stars are more like 3 stars .The Green Nature Resort and Spa is a 2 star at absolute tops !!! The rooms are grotty , with stained carpets and filthy shower tiles. The food is extremely poor and not geared towards western Europeans. It is very difficult to get a table at dinner time and when you have, the queues for food can be 30 minutes long. This resorts takes in far more customers than it can deal with , they know this but they honestly do not care. Expect to be approached at least 3 times a day by people trying to sell you either photos , spa packages , water sports , diving trips ETC , Honestly, it is relentless. Also the resort is extremely noisy at night , I was woken up every night between 1-3 am by druken guests screaming and fighting. I honestly didn't get one decent nights sleep and I can sleep anywhere !!! I am trying very hard to find a positive but I cant , accept to say that the weather was great every day. I don't write many reviews , the last one was for my holiday last year, and the review is the polar opposite to this one. I am not a moaner but I really regret staying at this resort. I would neither visit here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone else.

Just to put it out there,.... that my sons towel was stolen from his sun bed this morning. Hotel reception not interested, hotel guest relations also not interested. My son is gutted. I will be seeking out the manager soon, but he cannot be found ??. Personally will not be returning to this hotel, or recommending it to friends. Too much wrong to put into words. Travelling home tomorrow....looking forward to it.! Room 4118 - decent family room. 2 rooms with interconnecting door. Top floor, good pool view, but as with a lot of places in this hotel, it could all do with some updating. Food - 3 Q's, quality, quantity and queues - quality average, quantity- not enough for guests and always queueing........ALWAYS. After 15 years of all inclusive holidays, this is the one where we as a family have spent the most amount of money eating and drinking outside of the hotel resort. For us,....It ranks as the lowest scoring hotel in all that time. This is pre dominantly a hotel for families with small kids. And there are hundreds of them. This is not for couples, or for older ( teenage kids ) families, although all types were staying in hotel.? Wifi not working for last 4 days and only then in lobby. ( I am writing this in local bar ). One of the water slides for the kids has also been out of action for 4 days. Evening entertainment is the same as every other all inclusive...... Also, all inclusive package is from 10 am - 12 midnight sharp.before or after that it must be paid for. The only real bar open at night is way too small to accommodate all guest, so sun beds are used instead to sit on. Terrace bar and restaurant is NOT all inclusive. Our one meal there was a disaster. 3 meals ordered and they got 2 of them wrong.!! Poor service and poor quality of food. Small Lobby bar turns into a airport departure lounge after 7pm with uncontrollable kids running riot waiting for their return coach. Yeah, the parents should control them, but hey......the hotel should also encourage decent behaviour. We ended up going out for drinks most nights......which defeats the object of all inclusive. I'm sure there are guests who will rave about this hotel, but this is MY experience of MY holiday stay. Feel free to cotact me to answer questions honestly. We Managedd to enjoy our holiday, but only because we made the best of a poor situation, and spent way more than we wanted too. Lesson learnt...........more research needed before booking.!!

Despite arriving in the early hours the hotel staff were great and while they sorted our room and bags we had a look around. All looked good but we were surprised to see, at 2am, towels on the sunbeds so taking the advice of those enjoying a (very) late drink around the pool we retrieved our towels from our suitcases and reserved our spot - despite the poolside signs that towels would be removed before 7am - when in Rome,,, Had no problem waking up in time for breakfast the next morning as we had been allocated the noisiest room in the hotel, not only was it next to two lifts pinging every time they arrived on the floor, was outside the entrance to the Terrace Bar (Open 8.00am to 4am), was close enough to the lobby atrium to hear phones ringing in reception and that coaches arriving at all hours of the day and night disgorged their weary travellers and embarked the departing right under our window. Still this did help in being up at 5.30am each morning to ensure a decent spot by the pool. On arriving at breakfast it soon became apparent that the content of the buffet would be determined by the nationality of the residents which at the start of our holiday would be predominately Turkish. Not enamoured of the choice of mashed potato, cauliflower, sweet butter and dry pastries we soon sought out the full English on offer at Diana Steak House (prop:Ali) down the road. The hotel offers a slightly dearer but still good value alternative at the Terrace Bar but this is not part of the all inclusive package. Overall the AI package is of questionable value. The snack bar (by the smaller pool, along from the shop) serves much more "English" food but still accompanied by a great choice of fresh salads. Didn't do lunch but dinner, while offering occasional appetising choices was still very oriented towards the locals and had to be carefully timed in order to secure somewhere to sit and eat it! Bar service was generally good but the refusal of most nations to queue frustrated the staff as much as me - on occasions where a tap on the shoulder or a quiet(ish)word in a transgressors ear led to them joining the back of the queue there was always a thankful response from bar staff who said that if they pointed out to their countrymen that they needed to join the queue they received abuse! Towards the end of the week the hotel became more European and the plummeting Lira and ISIS threat meant that this 5 star property had become very accessible to the UK populace, The TV in the room had several British channels and occasionally we caught the Jeremy Kyle show but on the odd day it felt like we were sharing space by the pool with some of the participants, determined to wring maximum value from the free bar, Meanwhile kids were allowed to run amok, screaming throughout the hotel but this was not limited to drunken Brits - all nationalities seemed to think that their children had every right to express themselves at all times of the day and night. It has not been a good year for the Turkish tourist industry by all accounts, franchises in the hotel seeking to maximise their income streams as the season ends, sold hard, though never aggressively but might benefit from the tenet that any sale is better than no sale when negotiating. In summary, the hotel facilities are excellent, the staff were great but the overall feeling was we are here for our Turkish customers but we need your European money - as it was I spent my money in a few of the many excellent restaurants along the seafront and by the marina in Marmaris. I will return, just not to the Green Nature Resort.

We stayed here with our 3 kids from 10-21 august . We loved it. Fab hotel, great family room, great food and lots of choice and the staff were great. Alex the bar man was a today gem. We tipped him 20tl per day which is approximately £5 and we didn't have to go to the bar once. He brought us drinks without being asked all day and night and the guy who looks after the sunbeds (happy) reserved us 5 beds every day for about 10tl top. £2.50. Which meant we could take our time in the morning not rushing for beds near the pool. One of our children had an accident on the first day and needed emergency hospital treatment, the staff at the hotels on site doctors arranged a private car and immediate treatment at the hospital . He was seen within 2 minutes and they were extremely helpful in the following days doing check ups and organising meds. We will definitely be back
