Overview
Armonia Holiday Village & Spa is a beautiful hotel located just 5km from the centre of Turgutreis, right by the sea with its own private sandy beach with blue flag award. Across the water, the Island of Kos displays a wonderful panorama with its glittering lights. The whole hotel is located on level ground making it ideally suitable to everyone, with direct access onto the beach and the sea. The area around the hotel is popular with watersports due to the strong winds that pick up between Kos and Turkey, which far from causing a concern, is actually often a blessing, particularly with the heat of the summer.

Good place to go to, but don't expect luxury.

I stayed in this Hotel on 14-23July of 2015. Separate respect to the SPA workers: Elisa, Ramazan and Fevzi, they are professionals and simply relaxed and down to earth people. Special thanks to my masseur Fevzy - he is brilliant. His hands have healed my spine (at last) from pain to relief just after 5 sessions.

Ammonia is a good place to come to with the family. My little ones had the chance to play with lots of different children at the pool and at the beach. We came with a large group of friends and overall had a good experience, however we were greatly disappointed with the standard of this 'Five Star Hotel'. Frankly, there was very little 5* about it. One exception being the animation team who all did a great job with what seemed like very little resources... Food was plenty and fairy tasty, but monotonous, and lacking choices of premium meats or seafood. The only breakfast meat we had was a processed sausage like thing with lots of red food coloring in it... I would not let me dog eat that... Lots of eggs, olives, tomatoes, were a huge plus. I loved the bread choices. A big problem was the fact that if you did not come to breakfast or dinner early enough they would run out of plates, glasses, or cups and you'll be standing there like an idiot waiting for someone to bring more... it was very difficult to go to have a meal with children who needed to be supervised at all times and having to wait four basic tools. They were also very slow cleaning up tables after somebody finished eating, while people were waiting for tables, and there was glass on the floor they did not keep up cleaning. Rooms are small and fairly clean, but the same thing can't be said about common areas and hallways. Being there two weeks our shampoo was replaced only once and the cleaner has not touched our mirror the entire time we were there. They did replace towels everyday. Oh and did I mention hardly anybody speaks English, so trying to communicate with them is like talking to a wall... my husband solved the problem by becoming a master charades. Last, the beach, not very clean, but the water made up for it. Crisp and clean made my day every day! I hate that I sound so negative, but I have been in many hotels and resorts in the past and this one is one of the most misrepresented ones I've seen.

In this hotel we were about 3 weeks! And I can say that just one good reason that this hotel has it is an animation group. All our first week we spent in the reception and asked them that they do sth with the cleaning in our rooms! They didn't wash the floor and bathroom, they never changed bed linen and only sometimes they changed our towels. After one week we decided to stop talking to stuff, it was needlessly. We were really angry and wanted to change our hotel, but we loved our animation program! We wanna say thanks for guys who made those three weeks are incredible! From the morning to night we had various interesting activities! The most lovely were Aqua gym in the sea with DeeDee, bocce game and Zumba classes as well, also it was really amazing to have gymnastic every morning with Dasha! Zumra and Kimo played volleyball with us everyday! We got lots of emotions there, they are fantastic, We love them so much! Moreover, Sam, MoMo, Kimo and others organized disco tours! We went twice with them and it was the best moment from our trip! They are so talented and energy, it helped us to forget about all problems! Thanks them for that! Ps: If someone decide to visit this hotel, will take a Russian chocolate for guys who work there! They will be happy!

I'd rather sleep on the beach than step foot in that budget hotel again

14 July 2015

I selected 1 star as terrible but even then I think it's rating too highly. As our first time to Turkey and after spending £600 odd on this holiday, we expected a 5* hotel as advertised by Thomson...

We spent a week in this hotel and it was really fun. We were 3 friends of us (21 years old girls). First i would like to say, your holiday will be great only if you make it great. The journey from airport to the hotel was pretty long due to big traffic jams, but eventually we made it to the hotel. We got nice room, we saw a bit of the sea from our balcony. The room was big enough. Probably we got bigger one, because we were just 3, but there were 4 beds possible. Clening ladies visited our room maybe twice during the week, but we were fine with it. We just have changed the towels ourselves. It took us maybe 2 minutes. We didnt need to complain all the time about something, like some people do. The food was really lovely, every day something different, also kids had enough to choose i guess. Swimming pools were nice, not so busy, there was aqua aerobics and water polo everyday. Also other program from animators were good, so there was still something to do. There was also disco in the resort at night, but it was really cold inside. Just one thing was bad here, and it was the beach. It was not sandy at all. It was really small stones mixed with some sand, but it was not comfortable to walk in it. To get out of the sea back to the beach was pretty difficult due to this mix of stones. The stuff there was really friendly, there was not difficulties to speak english with them, we really liked Ufu at the non-stop bar and others waitress were also funny and joking all the time. We also met poeple from all ove the world in this resort and we become friends. We really enjoyed this hotel and we can recommend it to all ages.
