The whole hotel is located on level ground making it ideally suitable to everyone, with direct access onto the beach and the sea. The area around the hotel is popular with watersports due to the strong winds that pick up between Kos and Turkey, which far from causing a concern, is actually often a blessing, particularly with the heat of the summer.

I have never been to such a dirty disgusting place in my life. We paid for a family room with either garden or sea view. We got a brick wall 3 foot from the balcony. The room smelt of damp and was so dirty. It hadn't been cleaned properly from the previous occupancy. Everywhere was filthy. The show still had the shower cream stains and the mirrors still had splash marks. The toilet had pubic hair all round it !!. We refused to stay in this room and went to the Manager and Receptionists to complain. I have never met such an arrogant rude man in all my life. They eventually offered us another room which we viewed only to find it just as dirty and the bunk beds for our 8 and 4 year olds was broken and would have caused a serious accident. Again the Manager did not seem to get it. He offered us one other room (not together) and basically said that if we didn't like this one we could find alternative accommodation. Only when our rep promised us faithfully that the third room would be completely cleaned did we very reluctantly agree to stay there, by that time we had wasted half a day of our holiday. The restaurant was dirty and the evening meal was supposed to be from 7.30 to 9.30. however at 8.45 they would clear away all the food and if you approached them they just laughed at you. There were 3 r 4 accidents while we were there from slipping round the pool, It was extremely dangerous. I could go on and on and on..... My advice - never ever ever go to this hotel !!!!!

I must admit, Thomson advertise this hotel as a 5* and honestly, it's far from it, I would suggest Thomson need to review their holiday rating system! However, it was our first time to Turkey and we had a great time, we always make the most of what we've got and never let the little things ruin our holiday. Arrival: I had contacted the hotel a couple of weeks before we were due to arrive to request a bottle of Sparkling wine in the room on the second day of our holiday as we were celebrating 13 years together, after a few emails back and forth I was told this was not a problem... Great, however the wine never arrived :-( Room: Was small and very basic but did the job and let's face it, your on holiday so don't spend that much time in there anyway. Our room was never cleaned before 5 and we went 7 days straight without having any water put in our fridge, when we could get hold of bottled water we would stash them in our case as you never knew when you could get hold of the next one! The walls are also very thin, you can pretty much hear everything going on next door and down the hall. Pool: We used the pool at the top next to the bar, away from the entertainment pool as were not to fussed about aqua aerobics.... Seemed clean enough and never had any problems, we did have to get up quite early to secure sunbeds as these were taken pretty quickly. Beach: This was great, we spent quite a bit of time using the sunbeds on the beach, again you had to get up early to secure two together with a cushion as not all the beds had mattresses but was worth it, went swimming everyday in the sea, snorkling with the fish under the jetty. Restaurants: The main buffet style restaurant was pretty basic and the food was very repetitive, they did try to mix it up a little every now and then and they seemed to cater for more eastern european tastes. Tables were not always laid out and sometimes you had to get your own cutlery but this really didn't bother us, it's hardly a holiday spoiler to get up and get your own fork every now and then! They did seem to be understaffed as the restaurants teams seemed to be working at a million miles an hour, it was tiring just watching them at times. Sezar was very helpful and looked after us most evenings :-) We tried to book into the a la carte restaurants a few times which seemed to be difficult. In 11 nights we only managed to get in to the a la carte restaurants once. You need to book at the main reception and they always seemed to be booked up, however, when we went up to the bar next door to the restaurants there probably wasn't any more than 2 or 3 tables occupied for the whole night. Bar: We used the 24 hour bar upstaires most evenings, Vahdet was great, took notice of what we would drink and always made sure we had fresh drinks, an asset to the hotel for sure. Drinks: All inclusive drinks were beer, gin, vodka and brandy. If you wanted anything else you had to pay, not a single cocktail was free which was disappointing. Entertainment Team: Very pushy around the pool during the day to start, I had to say NO 12 times in one conversation to get her to go away, they tended to leave us alone after a few days and we became known as the lazy people.... which suited us :-) They do work insanely hard though, working in excess of 14 hours I would say most days, credit to their commitment. Sports: The scuba diving was brilliant, was down for around 80 minutes, fed the fish and was good to practise some scuba skills. I had a one on one diving session and certainly got my monies worth. We also went parasailing, I took my GoPro up with me and were only in the air for around 7 minutes but was good fun and glad we did it. Everything was negotiable so don't be afraid to ask for a better deal. Boat Trip: There are a couple of lads around the complex all day selling boat trips, we booked on one and had a great time. Was also good to get out and see some more of Turkey, lots of swimming and they didn't mind you jumping from the top of the boat :-) I was told the beer was also a 'good price' when in actual fact it was more expensive that buying beer in a restaurant, make sure you've got a little extra cash to settle your drinks bill at the end. The crew were great and made sure everyone had a good time. A great trip and well worth it, will do another if/when we return to Turkey. Overall we had a great holiday, I wouldn't stay at this hotel again as there are so many places to visit and see but we made the most of what was on offer all the time. We will certainly return to Turkey.

I am travel internationally for business and leisure. I stay at 4 or 5 star hotels around the world. First of all, let's start with the good parts: Staff at the bar Derya and Mahmut at the restaurant are lovely. Bread is great and the hotel right on the beach. Now with the reality: Hotel is at best a 2 star. 1- Rooms are tiny, & stink, bathrooms have mold. Beds are like a rock. Even though I paid premium to stay with a sea view, when I arrived I was told none was available cause the owner has the first building. 2- Service at the restaurant is non existent as I was told they are short staffed. They constantly short of plates, glasses or silverware so naturally you can't eat. When the food is available it is the same thing re-dressed everyday in different way. 3- Bar area smells like a sewer due to inadequate air conditioning and very dirty. 4- Pools that look giant in the photos are the size of a regular pool and not one foot walk in between sun beds. Hence security hazard that caused a guest to fall and break his leg. 5- Reception is understaffed so any question to be answered is about 20 min -90min wait time. 6- Balconies have chairs but no table, so you sit with a glass in your hand. Seriously :) 7- Everyone at the hotel staff complained how badly they are treated with low wages and no training and hence the 2 star customer service everywhere apparent. They do t smile or have an attitude if you ask even a glass of water. 8- Neither the owner or the management is visible to share these concerns or correct them. Note to hotel owner, if you don't invest in your staff training for excellent customer service and employee satisfaction, you will not have a great hotel, only a mediocre place like now. If you don't advertise honestly that this is a tiny place or if you don't renovate to make it a real 5 star, you will not have return guests and only people come once and never return. I hope that you can make these changes, also a note to tour companies : STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL, IF YOU WANT HAPPY TRAVELERS AND RETURN CUSTOMERS.
