Across the water, the Island of Kos displays a wonderful panorama with its glittering lights. The whole hotel is located on level ground making it ideally suitable to everyone, with direct access onto the beach and the sea. We spent 5 days in the middle of September, 2014 in this hotel. We had a standard double room which was well decorated and sorted comfortable but it was not very clean. I know that the housekeeping cleaned the room on daily base but the bathroom required more attention and resources, and at all it was dirty all the time (on the white tiles you can see everything). The food was excellent, what to say about the Turkish delights? They were really amazing, congratulations to the Chef. But unfortunately the service in the restaurant was really poor, it was hard to find clean forks, glasses, knifes etc. Moreover some of the waiters were not ready to support. At that time I wondered how the management tolerates that because I saw that some of the waiters were doing their best to support the guests while their colleagues were smoking cigarettes or talking. The hotel has private beach with a lot of sun beds, the water was very clean. The animation team was excellent. In the evenings they introduced us funny and interesting show programs. In my opinion they were very proactive, Congratulations! Overall, it was a wonderful holiday in Armonia but the hygiene and the service strongly need some improvements.

I stayed at the Armonia for 2 weeks and wasn't disappointed. Although the night entertainment was shocking and the hotel was miles away from any shops or towns, everything else was great. The rooms were stylish and clean (although they did mess up our rooms and had to fit 4 people in a twin room) the beds were comfy and the room was well air conditioned with a reasonable sized balcony and bathroom. The pools were clean and nice and had a sufficient amount of sun loungers around them. I also enjoyed the poolside entertainment. It had its very own private beach, again with sun loungers and umbrellas too. The food was delicious and served at convenient times of the day and had indoor and outdoor seating. There were three main bars and all had polite staff but the range of free drinks was limited I would say this hotel was more of a 4 star than a 5 star but would love to go back one day!
Bodrum is famous for its Mediterranean climate with long hot summers, pleasant spring and autumn months and mild winters.
The blistering sunshine throughout the summer months reaches highs of 30° C, however during May throughout to October Bodrum does benefit from the Meltemi wind, which offers a satisfying breeze on some of the hottest days and cools down the temperatures for a comfortable evening.
The spring and autumn months in Bodrum are popular for those wanting a bright and sunny holiday without it being uncomfortably hot. Temperatures during these months range from the low to mid 20's, meaning these months are perfect for activities such as walking and hiking, taking advantage of the beautiful scenery and bright blue skies.
The winter months see rainfall and much cooler weather, with temperatures dropping to 10°C or below, so isn't recommended as a winter sun destination.
