The worst holiday I have ever had in my life, including camping school trips in the rain. Think 'Fawlty Towers' but in Turkish. Arrived late at night, had to carry our own bags, changed room three times - firstly because of no sea view (as paid for), secondly because the room stank of drains and faeces, the third one which we ultimately stayed in had a hole in the floor under the sink and a shower that leaked (seriously it was like our own paddling pool in the bathroom and I even did a performance of singing in the rain to lighten the mood). But we were so exhausted that we just wanted to eat something and go to sleep. The midnight soup was not available (as advertised) in fact there was no food available upon our arrival So after several phonecalls and repetition we were able to obtain a cold omelette and chips which arrived at 3am as they went to the wrong room. Bearing in mind we had ordered the food at 11pm so by this point were fast asleep when they finally came. (Yes, thats right 4hrs to find our room?) The lights did not work properly (you could only have one on at a time) and we could only see the sea if one of us hung on to the other as they leaned out of the window to glimpse it through the trees. The fridge did not work for our entire stay. The bed linen, towels and room were only changed and cleaned 4 times in our 9 day holiday. None of the a la carte restaurants were open for the duration of our stay and no explanation was provided. The crazy golf consisted of three or four boxes of 2 metres of green felt a singular hole and a flag. The tennis court was locked and had weeds growing on it. The main eating areas ( I can not really call them restaurants) were always packed and felt like grabbing the last bargain at a January sale when trying to find a table which invariably you had to clean yourself from the previous guest. Their selection of food was burger, chips and variations thereof and a mystery meat/stew The beach bars when serving pizza would be inundated with guests piling their plates high with (and I kid you not, I stood there and counted in disbelief) 15 slices of Pizza (I don't think they see Pizza very much?) On the night an actual desert was provided there was a riot with the children and parents trying to get a desert for their kids who had not seen one for a week. We left the hall and watched the fun outside through the window. I could go on but why bother, I think you get the gist. I do not need to tell you how the 'cabaret' was the same show every night, exactly the same, every night for 9 days, no variation. Harrangued by photographers who would take your picture without your consent and then demand money, no staff or signs so you had to follow the crowd at meal times for the first couple of days to find out where things are or ask other guests, incompetent staff who tried to book us out a day early and their 'local' wine which gave me a migraine for two days. I do not need to tell you any of this. All I need to say is run. Flee for your sanity and health. Do not stay at this 'resort' go to Butlins which would be far superior. I came back from this holiday ill, exhausted and feeling like I had been through boot camp. But half a stone lighter through lack of food and stress. I had wanted to leave within 3 days or change hotels but we could not afford it, so we stuck it out. I actually kissed the tarmac when I came back to London. Made a complaint to my tour operator and the Hotel (three each in fact). My friends and I never talk of this holiday. Occasionally one of us will twitch when we hear the word Turkey but we understand the trauma without having to speak of it and just hold their hand until the episode is over. When you are survivor of the Green Beach Resort no words are required

I stayed a week at this hotel ,I had very bad experience not at all . I checked in around 6 pm which it was even late check in , they gave a room that was not ready and clean ,,, that hotel was too old and stinky .specially night time so bad smell even I could not sleep . My room AC broke few times and called reception and let them know but they just took care of it just once . Food was not great it was ok ,. Some of stuff were so friendly and helpful but most of them was not ,. Pool& beach towels was too old & torn . I paid for 5 star hotel but I got 2 star hotel service ,, I highly recommended to do not go and waste your money ,. Location wise so far away from Bodrum and so quit .

The hotel in its self wasn't that bad apart from the wrong room being given us paid for a sea view room got one over looking the car park arrived late at night despite being told we would get refreshments at the hotel which was all inclusive we had to pay as it was after 11p.m then ok not the greatest start but hey things happen then at 3a.m just got off to sleep and some ones banging on the door its room service sorry got the wrong room ok first night not looking good well the next mourning at breakfast I thought some thing was a miss when the waiter on the door greeted me in Russian it turns out this is a Russian hotel and caters for the Russians and they like to get there moneys worth feeding time is like nothing I have seen before people running towards the waiters as they were bringing the food out of the kitchen they could have opened the kitchens doors and thrown the food in it would'nt have been much worse its the only 5 star hotel i've stayed in were you have to get your own drinks for your meal from the bar you had a choice get some food and let it go cold while you got a drink or take a chance with what's left of the food which is mostly Russian cuisine any way so we thought we would use there a la carte restaurant and we are still laughing about it now if you are studing Russian work for mi5 or are looking for a Russian bride this is probably the hotel for you every body else take some advise and don't
