Just returned from 7 nights all inclusive. We were a party of 9 (ages 5, 7, 11, 15, 16, 42, 42, 45, 45). We had 2 rooms. One on 4th floor (404) family room. And one on 3rd floor (313). Both rooms...
Just returned from 7 nights all inclusive. We were a party of 9 (ages 5, 7, 11, 15, 16, 42, 42, 45, 45). We had 2 rooms. One on 4th floor (404) family room. And one on 3rd floor (313). Both rooms had pool side view. Right from the moment we arrived we were made so welcome by Jose on reception. He went out of his way to help us with any queries, even providing us with bottle of Cava in each room for a special occasion. After reading a few negative reviews I was a little sceptical about certain issues, but I can honestly say we never had any problems and thouroughly enjoyed our break. Food ... was plentiful and a wide variety of meals. Our children often chose not to select from the 'kids section' as there was little choice of fruit / veg / salad etc. Food was always hot and cooked well. The restaurant manager was fantastic. Always welcoming and ensured we had a table for 9 reserved. It is well worth booking the Italian Restaurant (one free meal per visit) on arrival as it gets booked up early. Once again this meal was amazing! Hygiene ... this hotel is spotless! Cleaners are constantly ensuring all areas are kept clean and tidy. The cleaner if our room (404) was so friendly and efficient. The bar ... staff are friendly and quick to serve you. Always helpful when our youngest children needed assistance. Improvements ... Our only critisism was that when one of our party (11 year old) hurt himself, there was no first aider on staff. We we given a near empty first aid box that was dirty and of no use. The accident occured due to something we felt was a health and safety issue - during the evening entertainment parasols were removed leaving very short (sharp) metal poles sticking up from the floor. The boy was dragged up from his seat during a party game, causing him to trip over the pole cutting his leg badly in 2 places. This matter was addressed (longer more visable poles remained in place for the remainder of our holiday) and we were told they were looking into having a first aider at the hotel as soon as possible. Would we return ... in a heartbeat! We had an amazing holiday - Thank you. ☺

Our family (aged from 2 - 66) have just returned from 10 days at this great hotel. It is an ideal place for children and has 3 pools, a children's pool with fun slides and in and outside play areas nearby. A middle pool that is great for slightly older children and a large pool (deep) for swimmers and shallow end for children to play in. The rooms are very similar to all Majorcan hotels, comfy and cleaned daily with continual supply of clean towels if required. My son and daughter-in-law had a lovely family room with the 3 grandchildren having the benefit of their own room next to their parents double room overlooking the main pool area. One problem for them was their 2 years old could get out of the room as there wasn't a lock on the balcony door and it caused his mum and dad anguish as he likes to climb and they were worried in case he got on the balcony and pushed a chair against the balcony to climb on. They did get round this by keeping the curtain closed so he couldn't see out and his buggy pushed up against the outside but felt a lock would have been better. The food was adequate and got better as the time went by but we all were disappointed by a lack of variety for the children's meals and also the snacks during the day. Not everyone wants burgers, sausage or pizza every time with chips. Of course, I know by my other travels that hotels find it hard to accomodate everyones likes and dislikes but the staff were always willing to help and generally we all enjoyed our family holiday very much. Theres children's clubs for parents that like to relax and nightly entertainment for young and old with a good variety of acts. My one gripe is I really wish people would not put towels on sunbeds (of which they could do with more here) and then vanish for the day especially round the children's play pool when they have no children with them. This hotel is 5 minutes walk downhill to a large beach and plenty of shops but beware the walk back is very tiring on the legs. It is only 5 minutes from Magaluf and all the night life so be prepared to explain the likes of lap dancing etc. to young childrens as they are in amongst the gift shops. It is 25 minutes from Palma airport so tranfers dont take long. In conclusion, this is an ideal hotel with children but not for couples who want a peaceful holiday as all beds round the pool are likely to get splashed. We loved being with the family and they had a super time splashing Nanny and Grandad. The beach should be used with caution as the cost of the sunbeds is ridiculous and you also have to pay for the palm tree parasol which is in between two beds. It cost 13.50E (About £10-12) every day and the man is to be watched as he has the habit of giving the wrong change (which he did to me) and then gabbling in Spanish making me look like I had tried to con him (which of course I hadnt!) I gave him 15E and he gave me 50c change so just be aware of this as he makes out he doesnt understand English! My husband and I wouldn't go back to this hotel but did enjoy our first holiday abroad with the family.

I have just returned from this excellent hotel . I travelled on my own with a 12 and 15 year old. This was my third visit and I would go back again. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful, maids are amazing cleaned room and fresh towels everyday. Food is great, always choices. Drinks are good too and as they only serve 2 drinks at a time no lengthy waits at the bar. Close to beach and if you don't want to walk the hill back up taxis are very cheap. If you have a pool view it's worth being on the balcony at 0830 for sunbed wars as this really does happen they run for the sun beds, people start queuing from about 0630 and door doesn't open till 0830. If you go down at 0830 you should get a sunbed, however there are always plenty of chairs available and the hotel can not really do much about this as no where to put more sun beds. Entertainment is average they do there best if you don't get a table there is plenty of space inside to sit and read or play cards. I felt very safe and totally relaxed . We didn't want to come home.
